This gem of a restaurant has been a mainstay in south Brevard for years. The food is real middle eastern run by the same family since the 1980’s. If you are new to the cuisine I suggest the Butterfly Combo. The signature dish is the Garlic Chicken. Ask for an extra side of the sauce to put on your rice. The hummus and baba ganouj are home made. No other middle eastern restaurant delivers this quality.

Pretty good food. Reasonable prices. Only problem was that our waiter increased the tip amount on our credit credit card slip AFTER we signed it. Saw it when it posted on monthly statement. Not cool! :(

Some of the best Arabic food I’ve ever had. The hummus is killer, the grapeleaves are huge and flavorful, and their kanafeh is not to be missed. I usually order the shish taouk because that garlic lemon sauce they use is incredible. Especially when the rice under the chicken soaks it up. My goodness. It’s family owned and been around forever so if you’re in the area, make sure to stop by. Great wine selection too!

This place is a gem in Indian Beach. We started with the mixed appetizer with tabouleh, hummus, and baba ghanouj. They ran out of falafel so they gave us grape leaves instead which were delicious. We opted for the skewer combo meal with chicken, steak, and shrimp. The meat was perfectly cooked, the rice was delicious, and the veggies were perfectly seasoned. The amount of food for the meal would definitely feed at least two. They ended up giving us a chocolate cake for free since they ran out of falafel. Best thing was that we took home all the leftovers and they tasted just as good a few days later. They did have a belly dancer with loud-ish music which kind of took away from the intimate dinner we were hoping to have but seemed to be enjoyed by other guests. It did though only last for about 10 – 15 minutes which was appropriate.

Authentic Lebanese food filled with love and flavor. The traditional appetizers are delicious. I adored the mango ceviche, it was zesty, light and refreshing. The service is welcoming and you feel like family. The dishes come with a lot of rice and veggies and the sauces are amazing. The best part of this place is the coconut banana cream cake. One of the best cakes I’ve ever had… I will never forget that cake.

When my friend first suggested a Mediterranean place for a girl’s night out on our trip to Melbourne, I was interested but not sold. Most of the mediterranean places I had been back home were more casual, fast food places. But Skewers immediately impressed me! We began with wine, the baba ganoush, and fried eggplant. Both were excellent! I ordered sesame chicken skewers, which came with rice and some very fresh seasonal vegetables. While the chicken was great, I actually equally enjoyed the vegetables. Everything at Skewers was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. Finally, we ended with the baklava and coconut cake! From what I gathered, they are known for the coconut cake as far as dessert goes, and I can see why! Service at Skewers was excellent, and our servers were very attentive and helpful. I also loved the entertainment! They had a belly dancer that came out about halfway through our meal. It was such a fun authentic way to enhance our dining experience. If I lived in the area, I would definitely be going back regularly!

My wife and I stopped in last night for dinner, and we were not disappointed. From the wine selections to the meal choices, you can’t go wrong.

Not impressed at all. They advertise Gyro’s on main sign and the atmosphere is nice giving me the expectation I might actually get a well made Gyro. This could not be further from what I got. The meal came with a salad which was half the size of a normal side salad and lacked greek olives. The Gyro came with a side of hummus and pita, but the pita was nothing special– cold store bought not very fresh. The Gyro meet was clearly frozen slices just rewarmed on a flat top(all super thin slices all the same size) and there wasn’t much meat for a $ 11.50 Gyro. I’ve had way better Gyro’s from Pita Republic and that’s just a basic Gyro they cut off the wheel. At least make your own Gyro meat if you advertise Gyros on your street sign and if your a sit down restaurant like this.

Seriously this place is my FAVORITE! Their rice is absolutely delicious. The garlic sauce they use on their chicken is soooo good. I drive 30 minutes to eat there because it’s that good. It is my #1 recommended place to eat in Melbourne when asked for suggestions and I’m a local who has been pretty much everywhere :)

Ok. So. I’m forever in search of a good gyro. Having moved to this area from DC, i really miss great ethnic food. Skewers’ sign out front says«Gyro gyro gyro!» So, naturally, it piqued my interest. Hubby and I tried it for lunch today. We both had gyros and shared the hummus app. Hummus was awesome. Stellar, actually. So good that I want their recipe. It was served with a generous portion of thin pita(my favorite). We both got house salads with our gyros. Dressing was awesome. The gyro. No gyro I’ve ever had came with banana peppers and beets inside. This one did. Not a fan, so I picked them out. Tzatziki is good … Not as creamy as I like, but good. The biggest strike though? FROZENPREPACKAGEDGYROMEAT. Oh, the horror. So disappointed. You’d think that if your front sign says«Gyro gyro gyro!» and you’ve been open for 33 years that they’d have a spit in the kitchen and would be serving freshly cut lamb. Nope nope nope. We’ll be back to pickup some hummus for takeout, but that’s about it. Another one bites the dust.

Skewers is one of the best restaurants in Brevard County. Been coming here for over 20 years, and the food and service are always excellent. Skewers is family owned, and second-generation family is now running it. The hummus, kafta, and chicken dishes are awesome. Desert pastries are also homemade and delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a great Mediterranean restaurant and the food is really amazing. The atmosphere is simply lit with Turkish lanterns, fountains and really pleasant. I had the Mediterranean sampler and vegetarian grape leaves. So good!

Food was decent. Service was not great. The staff was very friendly, but would disappear for long periods of time. Definitely overpriced. We won’t be back.

Loved it. Amy is a great waitress. Good outstanding. Wine selection pretty good. Here for lunch. It was loud inside but okay. Parking can be a bear but just go park in the back neighborhood. Worth the walk. Outdoor seating available in the front and out back.

We come here every summer & love it. I recommend coming on a Friday or Saturday evening when a belly dancer performs, at 7, 8 or 9:00 pm. Our daughter loves it & they are so friendly that they invite her to dance with them. We have had great luck ordering the daily hummus special(we recall jalepeno & tarragon as favorites) and always the Mama Ghanouj(smokey flavor). We also order a veggie plate for dipping(Extra charge) that is not on the menu but a gluten free fix to enjoy all of the dips. We love the Yogurt Kafta & the Kibbeh meals & get them every time. This is a family owned restaurant and it shows. We rarely have room for dessert but the coconut cake is worth it.

As a native Detroiter, I have the luxury of great Mediterranean food on every corner. I like to eat rather healthy most of the time, so it’s my go-to cuisine. That said, I’m usually disappointed by the Mediterranean food that I have in cities that don’t have a large Greek or Lebanese population. This place however, is awesome!!! Better than many I’ve had at home. The food was fresh, veggies crisp, dressings seasoned and flavorful, and the meats were high quality as well. I highly recommend for flavorful, healthy eats!

Awesome Mediterranean food. Great menu and super good tasting food. Saturday belly dancer. All that being said, my favorite is the nice, friendly and attentive service. A total experience.

Overall, food and service is «good» but a few important improvements would make it great. First, the pita bread! C’mon…it’s obviously from a package, served cold and dry. It’s bordering on being stale. Brings down the baba and hummus, which is really good and deserves good Mediterranean pita to accompany it. At our usual place in Orlando, the bread is made fresh in the brick oven and there is no comparison here. Secondly, the bathrooms are located right at the entrance and give off pretty pungent odor upon entering. We didn’t smell it in the dining room at all though. Lastly, the lamb chops are NOT New Zealand lamb… no way. They are extremely fatty and pretty tasteless. Clearly not New Zealand. If you are going to serve them, do it right.
