AMAZING food and even better service from Janel and Sandy. Ordered with Doorstep Delivery, visited the restaurant and haven’t had anything we didn’t like. Family owned by great people and we will definitely be back!

Visited this place with a group of co-workers a couple months ago. Meh. Which is probably why I forgot to write up a review. The food is somewhat forgetful. Nothing stood out. I agree with a previous Unilocaler, they need to find what they’re good at and stick with it. Empanadas were okay. We’ve had better from the Cuban Sandwich place on Babcock. Drunk Tahitian Shrimp was lacking as the rice noodles were dry and they skimped on the shrimp. The Ropa Vieja was okay.

I was back in town visiting family and decided to go out to PC Keats and try a new place. SAVEYOURSELFTHETROUBLE! First off they are not welcoming at all! «You want me to get you a table?» Is not the way to greet people. Our server was gone always! Could never see her to ask for something. The food was subpar at best! I had the Stromboli, it wasn’t terrible but not close to anything I’d order again. We got the poutine for an app and having a Canadian wife, I know that is garbage. Our other friends got a burger and it was oozing grease out of it and the bun. He ate a quarter of it. The other got the arepa. That thing was tiny and bland. Oh and don’t order a drink just go to the bar. It’ll take a loooooong time for them to do their job. Bottom line would never go back!

Excellent Food! We have had the empanada’s and pizza here. Both were amazing! We will defiantly be a regular customer. They also have seating outside with a counter to people watch as you eat.

A group of co-workers and I ate at PCKeats one evening this week. I and two others had the Griot which we all agreed was very good. in fact, I wanted MORE of it but wasn’t going to order and pay for a second helping. Another had a pizza, which she did not enjoy. Another had the Chicken Salad Arepa which he didn’t enjoy and was quite surprised at how small it was for the money… about as big as an Egg McMuffin. My wife had a Stromboli which she liked, and another person had the Calzone which he liked. Fried Empanada appetizers were crispy, and could have had a little more«stuffing». There is a good selection of bottled and draft beers. I will go back and try some of the other menu selections, because I liked the place, and the waitress was very attentive and cordial. Prices were very reasonable. There was an Argentine Tango dance group of about 50 people in the back area of the resaurant, dancing and enjoying themselves, and quite a few people at the bar, and I was surprised that the noise level was not really loud at all.

This is a bit of a new place in Old Downtown Melbourne. I used to work in this building in the early 1980’s(think my office was about where the restaurant lobby is! Great spot for comfort food from around the world! The Peri Peri Chicken sandwich was tasty wIth a home made red onion pickled relish. My husband got it with the yucca fries which were really interesting(in a good way), crispy on the outside — a tasty & unusual treat. I went w/the daily special Sausage(yum, packed w/flavor!) soup made for a nice lunch date

Would only come back here for drinks and people watch. food was no good and the service was very slow. Took close to an hour to get food. and they were not overly busy. When asked how much longer for our food and drinks. I was given a very rude response by the hostess.

Came here last night to try this place for the first and last time. We waited over 20 minutes just for sodas for the kids, and well over an hour for some simple appetizers. Our server was apologetic and very rushed, and forgot several of our orders. I had to go to the bar to ask if we could have the rest of our food. Then there was a hair in my food, which they replaced promptly. Then we still had to wait for the kids’ food… Everyone else was done eating by the time it came out. Everything tasted pretty bland and just ok. Won’t be back.

This place is awesome, the bartenders are attentive and fun. The food was amazing… we had the pouting it might have been the best I’ve had since I left Canada. They have bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary’s on the weekend. The pizza is delicious and the drinks are strong. So happy to have found this place!

Just had dinner here and it was delicious. We sampled the lumpia rolls, the aijaco soup, a caprese salad, and their ropa vieja. The lumpia were straight out of Philippines and wonderful. If you want to try something different, go for the soup. I especially liked how you were able to doctor it up to your personal taste with the items provided. The plantains that came with the shredded skirt steak(ropa viejah) were a little bland but texture wise were a great compliment to the steak and rice. Jennifer Shakespeare was our sever and she was super friendly and knowledgable of the menu. First time there and will definitely be back!

Since it was Fall Fest & busy, we decided to keep it simple & order the slice of pizza & a pint special. 15 minutes after ordering, we flagged down a server to find out when the drinks might be coming. She got the beer for us, but the pint was in 2 plastic cups(1 medium size &1 tiny) because they were out of glasses. 20 minutes later, we got our slices of pizza. Pizza was okay, not great. Service was awful. After we got the pizza, the server disappeared & never came by to see if we needed anything. 2 tables of people left after waiting 45 minutes for food that never came & no explanation was given. The ladies bathrooms didn’t work. Neither did the men’s urinals. Only the 1 men’s room stall worked, but you had to wade through water all over the floor to get to it. We will not be returning.

The poutine seemed like glorified mozzarella cheese fries with a home made of extra thickened beef gravy on it. The pei pei chicken sandwich was great spicy and the fries stayed hot quite a while and a little spicy. Overall was good took a little while to get served but overall good experience.

Had high expectations after reading many other reviews and articles. Greeted by a large group of awkward staff, none of whom took charge to ask, «how many?» Very dark inside; light above our table wasn’t even on. Décor is all over the place; «hip» industrial lighting(looked more like steampunk to us), new but boring booths and tables, etc. Server was on top of us as we were all visibly still perusing the menu. Mentioned specials without explaining what’s in them — kind of important with international fare. Banh mi sandwich was no good. Pork was tender and moist but had no flavor. Pickled veggies tasted like they had merely been dipped in vinegar. Then I got a bite of a WHOLE raw serrano pepper, scored as if someone tried and failed miserably to dice it. Yikes! It didn’t come with cilantro, which is an essential part of this sandwich. They should try finding a local baker so their bread isn’t so plain. At least the fried yuca was good. I’m told the Canadian donair was good, albeit tiny.(The donair, by the way, is one of the specials we had to Google, because the server didn’t think to volunteer its components.) Vegetarian friend had a very hard time here: every sandwich and main is meat, they don’t even have a veggie burger or portobello sandwich. Halloumi caprese salad was a huge disappointment. Tiny bed of greens wilted by the grilled halloumi. The cheese slices were wedged into slits in a large, whole tomato, which included the inedible stem bit. Tomato itself was as good as something you would buy at Publix or Walmart. After we got our food, the server was absent for 20 – 30 minutes, to the point that we started looking around, wanting to flag down ANY staff so we could put this experience behind us. Will watch reviews for the next few months and consider going back for something safer, like pizza. If you want good authentic food downtown, just go to La Crêpe or El Ambia Cubano.

First time here to eat. Cocktails are made with care and to perfection. The wine menu is extensive enough to keep you interested, but not overwhelming to keep you confused. The signature cocktails are exquisite. We ordered more than we could eat so we could taste everything. Every bite of everything was perfect. Even the skirt steak was tender and flavorful in the Lomo Saltado. The Peri Peri chicken sandwich was juicy, popping with tanginess from the pickled onions, and the bread was soft on the inside and crisp on the outside. Can’t wait to come back and over order again so we can taste the rest of the menu!

I have been watching this place being built on a corner that hasn’t seen much success in the restaurant business in the past few years. Fingers crossed this might just be the what this corner needs. PC Keats the sign says. When I think PC Keats I instantly think haggis for some reason. Strange? Well I guess haggis is international fare right? So we decided to give it a go. So the restaurant looks very nice and we were seated promptly and got comfortable. Ordered some drinks and they came promptly. The server was nice but seemed a bit confused. Maybe they are just new at this? So looking at the menu I suddenly found myself in some other dimension. Snapping out of the haze It accured to me that this place has a serious identity crisis. Can food from many different cultures be made well in one establishment such as PC Keats? I’ll make it easy and go with Pizza and a Gyro. Well the pizza is as I feared, a fail. Being from NYC I know a good slice and this just doesnt compare to local spots let alone NYC. The Gyro was your typical diner style Gyro for people who just don’t know better. You want a real Gyro, well it doesn’t exist in Florida so forget about it. Get on a plane at go to the lower east side to an establishment called Bereket Turkish Kebab House. Wait they are now closed. Are we doomed??? Not exactly. Try any Halal cart on 6th ave near central park. They can hook you up! Pick a cuisine, do it well, thats how you stay in business. This lets make whatever we want stuff is Jackfm and just silly.

You know Tom? He’s the safe guy you date. He’s routine. He’s island pasta(my type of guy). He never does you wrong, he doesn’t cheat on you and his pal Frank is always there for you(Frank is my favorite server at Island Pasta) Well PC blah blah blah restaurant is not Tom or Frank. He is John, and John is bi polar. He doesn’t know what he wants to give you and he shoves his clothes under the bed to make his house appear clean. Don’t date John, go to Tom. I sincerely apologize for this review but don’t open with less than experience servers and less than good food. It was a crappy experience. The hummus was bland, as was the salad. I could make it better at home. The server Makisha said the food was«comfort» food but it was more disappointing than Taco Bell late night. Second night you are open and my wine glass had a tomato seed in it? Close down before a loss guys.

Melbourne’s downtown hosts many fine dining establishments and quite a number of bars and taprooms, but PC Keat’s is by far the best example of the fusing of both in one large gorgeous corner location. In fact, the dichotomy of high end and comfort is what makes this place so unique. The newly opened restaurant boasts a large floor plan and exquisite leather stools and seating, all while supporting many TVs tuned to everything from the food channel to the latest NASCAR race. High end vodka experts are treated to a wonderful selection of imbibements while those more akin to a basic bud light on tap are pleasantly surprised. But what really sets this place apart is the incredible menu. What normally would require a trip a la Carmen Sandiego to visit all the cultural significant homes of the menus members, you get here all on one page at a comfortable locale, no security screening required. The serving sizes are ginormous — yes, really. A 6.95 soup bowl is easily an entire meal, and the empanadas are less«snack» and more«oh good god I need a box». The thai steak salad is tender and plentiful. The aforementioned soup is filling and reminiscent of mom. The gyro brings back memories of actual gyro stands in Turkey. The menu is also respectful of simple palates: even plates notated as spicy still have some spice to be added by request. There are plenty of allergen free plates and because it is made to order, even the high maintenance can be catered to. This is THE restaurant to bring a large group to with lots of different tastes and needs: everyone finds something and is happy and there’s plenty of money left over to party. Even the pizza is late night open. It’s clear a lot of thought went into the location, the feel, the menu and the flow — and every bit of it worth it. They’re going to need more parking if they keep this up!
