I don’t understand why this place suddenly started to deny taking giant slice orders over the phone. Makes me not want to buy their mediocre pizza EVER. Before December I had no issue calling in a single giant slice pizza and coming to pick it up. Now they answer the phone, ask me what I would like to order, and tell me I can’t order it.

Their pizza slices are HUGE! I was not warned about the size but once I got it there were no complaints. It is a great small pizza joint located right by the beach. I mean who doesn’t have spontaneous pizza craving while walking around the beach? This place is here for you when that happens. Good flavors! It might be a bit of a wait since apparently we all have the same craving at the same time, but who minds waiting by the beach huh?

I really don’t understand how this is Unilocaled as the best Pizza in IB. Okay, take the soup nazi, but make it pizza. That is who you will meet when you come here. The lady in charge here is not pleasant at all, if she was it might help a little bit. But honestly, the pizza is the only thing earning this place a 2 star review from me. If you pay per slice the price is good, but the whole pizzas aren’t an amazing value. Taste: these pizzas are very bland. We got pepperoni and hawaiian. Neither were very good. It is like they are hoping you will take it onto the beach where sand will get kicked on it or a seagull will fly away with it before you punish your taste buds and take a bite. It isn’t bad, just totally devoid of any substantial flavor. Yeah, sure, it tastes like pizza. But so does a spotted Jelly Belly.

This was by far the worst experience I had with food in IB. After eating three pieces of the cheese pizza. I had to use the bathroom immediately as I had a bad case of diarrhea. And so did other people in my family. I thought the pizza was meh, but after that horrific experience we never got pizza from them again.

Yeah this place was pretty bad. It took forever for our pizza to come out and when it finally did it tasted horrible and wasn’t very hot. My friends said what do u expect for $ 4 pizza so I guess they get an extra star for being cheap but cmon it could have been edible at least. I’m not picky with pizza at all and I couldn’t even eat mine– that bad. Avoid!

Visiting San Diego this weekend and happened to be in the mood for pizza. So I looked on Unilocal and this place had 4 stars. It was about $ 30 for a large pepperoni pizza and 3 drinks. A bit pricey but it’s within walking distance of the beach so that was expected. I ordered the food and was told 30 mins. So I sat down outside(which is the only seating here, and is completely gross. Rusted chairs and tables that look like they never get cleaned) and witnessed someone go up and order the same pizza and they got theirs before I did. I confronted the staff and was told yes they made a mistake but she told us it would take 30 minutes so it was ok(which by this time it was well over 30 minutes). I would not recommend this place what so ever. The pizza was nothing special what so ever, reminded me of papa johns that we use to get served in lunch at high school. Ps. The lady next to me was complaining about the sausage on her pizza reminded her of dominos.

I’m just sitting here laughing at all the Unilocal reviews saying it’s the best pizza they have ever had. People obviously have never had decent pizza. The pizza taste fake and sauce is disgusting. They hardly put any cheese on it and they have Low quality ingredients. But if you want pizza and near the beach I recommend giant pizza king

I love this pizza. It reminds me of east coast pizza. I’m from NJ and it’s the closest you’re going to get in SoCal.

Great pizza. This is one of our first food stops in our weekly vacation every year. Their 28 in pizza feeds us all with leftovers and it tastes amazing!

My colleagues and I ordered a giant pizza from these guys, soley based on the reviews from Unilocal and were really pleased with our pizza. The pizza was really tasty! Ingredients were fresh. We ended up splitting our pizza in half with peparoni on the one side and Hawaiian jalapeño on the other, yum!

Love this pizza. Best pizza I’ve ever had and I love that I live down the street. I always get the XL so I can have leftovers. Pizza once week for dinner and I will always order from Seacoast.

I’m from Chicago and don’t tend to like Brooklyn style pizzas, but this place is awesome! I can’t say enough about the quality of service and the quality of food. If you’re looking for a pizza the size of your table that surprises you with each bite, this is the place!

By far the best pizza I have ever had. I get the walk in special(2 slices with a beverage) for only $ 4. They come in two huge slices pre cut for u. They are so delicious I can’t even describe it. I come here with my fiancé very often and im always happy. It beats any pizza I have ever had by far

After surfing some good waves it was time to get something to eat. My bf suggested coming here for pizza. I loved it! I like that they are open bright an early and their pizza was delish! It took about 10 minutes for them to bring out our freshly made Pepperoni slices. The slices were huge and big enough to feed a hungry surfer. I also ordered a Greek salad which was also really good. So that is why they get a 5 star rating from us!

This is a little Mom and Pop pizza joint right across from the beach. Pizza has good flavor and they aren’t shy with the toppings. If you’re in the area give it a try!

Freaking love this place! First time ordering and no complaints! I’m from CT where it has been said has the best pizza in America(New Haven) and this pizza impressed me! I moved to IB bc my hubby is in the navy and was seriously sad to have to order from dominos on our Saturday pizza nights. Sad face no more! Real crust, real chicken wings and way cheaper than any other delivery place around! I would have given the delivery guy a hug if it wasn’t creepy! 10000% recommend this place, very nice staff, quick and on time, and delicious!

Amazing pizza! I called and the person taking our order was fantastic; respectful, knowledgeable and courteous. The pizza was fantastic! The perfect amount if sauce, great crust, amazing toppings and the cheese was just the right amount. It was hot and ready when they told us it would be and we were all enjoying it shortly there after. Only minor annoyance is we would have a $ 3 delivery charge bc we are just outside their radius so we picked it up; not insurmountable.

I ordered a 14″ full pizza with pepperoni and bacon on one side and the same on the other with the addition of sausage. Service was great, they were ready to take our order as soon as we walked in. $ 14 after tax for the pizza. A little pricey, but I was not disappointed. The guy who took our order said it would take about 25mins. I came back in 20 to see if it was ready, sure enough it was ready to go. They even asked if we needed plates and napkins.(I really like it when places can take care of their customers all the way until they leave.) 10⁄10 for service. I got the pizza back to the nearby Hotel I was staying at. When I opened the box I was really happy to see a pizza fully loaded with toppings! Defiantly, worth the $ 14. The pepperoni was great, the bacon was actually bacon(yay!) and the sausage was plentiful. I’m not a huge fan of overly sauced pizza, and was very pleased with the amount used. Cheese was fully loaded(other pizza places would charge as «extra») The crust was the only thing that I can critique. It couldn’t really support the pizza and got kind of soggy from the grease. Maybe they just need to let the pizza cool a bit before placing it in the box? Other wise the crust tastes great. I really enjoyed the pizza. My favorite pizza in SD being Bronx(mainly because I prefer a thinner lighter pizza). This pizza was 10⁄10 quality and taste. My only reason for it not being my favorite is just personal preference! Solid 5 stars. The cost, in the end, was justified by a quality pizza that was loaded with quality ingredients. Don’t hesitate to give this place a try!

I can honestly say I don’t agree with all the negative reviews. While this pizza spot still falls shy of Bronx & Luigi’s, for a neighborhood giant slice pizza grab & go, it’s one of the best I’ve tasted, not to mention one of the best values for the money, and the family running the place are all very nice! We don’t live in the area so our chances of going out to IB just for Seacoast Giant Pizza aren’t very high. On the other hand, if I did live or work close to IB, they would definitely be a place I would frequent often. First off, you get a HUGE slice and you choose whichever toppings you like and they will cut it anyway you like traditional wedge cut or squares to make it easier for you. The dough used in their crust is absolutely DELICIOUS! You really can’t complain… If there’s any knock on SGP, it’s the lack of dining tables/chairs available. There’s maybe seating for 10 or so outside so it’s more pickup and go, but I’m telling you. Check this place out!
