Mercado Shores Liquor

This place has the best deals ever. The workers are very nice and helpful too. I recommend them over all of the other liquor stores in that area.

The California Lottery currently has a promotion where they give away a «raffle ticket» for each Super Lotto ticket purchased. I purchased some Super Lotto tickets at this store, but the clerk KEPT THE RAFFLE TICKETS and did not give them to me. He covertly put them next to the register, out of sight from the customer side of the counter. When I pointed out the message printed on my Super Lotto tickets which stated that a raffle entry would be provided with every lotto ticket purchased, he told me that the machine did not print them, which was a total lie because I heard the lotto ticket printer cut TWO pieces of paper out of it.
In addition, I had two seperate Lotto scan forms for purchasing my lotto tickets. The clerk ran only one of them through the ticket generating machine TWICE instead of running one through and then the other. When I pointed this so-​called mistake to the clerk, he took one of the «duplicate» tickets back, put it on his out-​of-​sight stack of raffle tickets, told me that he would cancel out the duplicate, and ran my second scan form (the one he failed to run through the first time around) through the machine. Again, he covertly kept the raffle ticket that was supposed to accompany it and did absolutely nothing to cancel the «duplicate» ticket that he took, even though he was doing nothing and there were no other customers in the store at the time.
I’ve already reported this event to the California Lottery officials and plan on reporting it to the store owner. I certainly hope that the owner and/​or manager are not involved with the highly unethical behavior of their employee.

These guys are great. I don’t care if they’re speaking TURKISH while I’m in the store. They have the cheapest cigarette prices in town (when theres no Camel offers!) and they have a stock of Mt. Dew in the back just for ME haha.
Parking sucks though — especially if you drive a bigger truck. Other than that… good deals.

these guys are ass holes. The new workers they have there now suck. There young Iraqi Assholes. I was using the counter to write my lotto numbers «like I’m going to win anyways» and the two guys started looking at me wired like if i was going to rob them. Bottom line i will shop else where theres many other Liquor stiore in IB. Also after i walked out of the store they started speaking to each other in aribic which made me feel even more mad.
