Fred’s Subs

This business has two accounts — not sure which is relevant. We placed an order for three via GrubHub. Ordered four ‘Surf Dogs’, one bag of chips, one brownie. The order came to around $ 30 with delivery. We requested to add tomatoes, olives & chipotle mayo to one of the Surf Dogs. (These are advertised as 100% all beef with chili on top.) What we received were nothing more than small Bar-​S dogs, tasting like bologna, on standard grocery store buns, with a few pieces of beans plucked from a bowl of chili. The dog with requested chipotle mayo had none on top. The bag of chips we ordered was the wrong flavor (and brand), and we suspect the brownie was perhaps Little Debbie’s. Huh? Tried to call the restaurant, no answer. No answer from GrubHub, either.

They deleted their old account bc they’re so bad… But here’s my review again:
Horrible. I wish I could say I at least got to try the food, but it took so long to get here (2 hours), it ended up in the trash. I ordered through Eat24 for delivery (which I paid $ 5 extra for) and got a phone call an hour later saying they didn’t know where the delivery driver was and that they could walk it if I was close. If I could walk there, I wouldn’t have gotten delivery. The person on the phone was actually a kid who didn’t know much about my order to begin with. I got a phone call a few minutes after saying they were out of cookies, but only to be told never-​mind, and getting hung up on. I called right back and a guy answered saying he should be here in about 5 minutes with my order and that everything with the order was okay. It didn’t get delivered for over another 40 minutes.
Once I got the food, it was all old, soggy, and incomplete. The fruit salad I ordered was barely existent. One of the sandwiches had a message on it saying «out of bacon» when I wasn’t told that in the previous 3 phone calls before they delivered. The other sandwich was so soggy because it was obviously sitting out for so long. Everything was a disappointment. I called right back to get a refund and they blamed it on the delivery driver, which I found out later is also the manager. They said they would refund it back. When I talked to Eat24, they said they called the store and the store would then only offer me a refund for the sandwiches. A horrible experience. I am now left disappointed and still hungry.
