My hair is crazy and it is hard to get a good hair cut. Go see Abby; she always does a great job.

This was my regular spot when I lived in the HEB area, due to the friendly and skilled staff. The Arlington location cannot compete, so I still make the drive to receive the experience expected and desired. Ashley gets your hair perfect, and does a great job washing your hair.

Good: I was able to get in on a Tuesday afternoon with no wait. The staff was mostly friendly. Two shampoos, haircut and short scalp massage as part of package. Bad: Place looked a little run down. TVs were old and small. Price didn’t match the amount or quality of service provided. I’ve had much better experiences as sport clips. They seem to manage quality from location to location better. And it’s a little cheaper then knockouts for the same and more service. I won’t go back to knockouts. Update: a few days later, I’m realizing that this was the worse haircut I’ve ever had. Hair very uneven, total rush job. Don’t go here.

I like the service provided by Knockouts franchises. As I said in a review of the Addison location, having your hair washed by someone else is a wonderful experience. I have to say that I think they have a little bit of TV overload. When I stopped by this last time, I was the only customer, and there were two stylists on the shift, and I think there were four or five TV’s blaring. This branch is pretty convenient for my commute and is right next to a Tom Thumb, so it is good to stop by here for a wig chop and then to pick up some consumables next door.

What’s not to like? Pretty girls that cut your hair, free soft drinks and beer in the fridge, and television screens that can be switched on to whatever you want to watch. The only thing that would make it even better is a stone-fired pizza oven on the premises … Before my visit, I went without a haircut for a couple of months, still in shock from the raggedy horror inflicted upon my remaining scalp covering by the clumsy scissorhands(masquerading as a hair stylist) manning the nearby SportClips shop. Fortunately, Kasey managed to bring my doo back to normal and then some – alleviating my newly acquired phobia for haircuts. The price may be a little higher than the other cut-rate chains, but it’s well worth it. They know what they are doing here, and you won’t get your head butchered with electric shears …
