Really good, fresh food! I enjoyed it thoroughly! Very authentic. Also a very interesting grocery section with all kinds of international options.

Oh, man, what a good find! I stopped in to grab some dinner for my husband and me. I placed my order at the«deli counter» and looked around while I was waiting for my gyros. There is a good mix of Middle Eastern foods and American foods. After browsing, I came back and waited by the counter and the cashier came over and invited me to try some samples they had out. Everything was good. Everything. I had already gotten gyros, hummus, pitas, and pita chips, so I figured I’d have to space it out and wait until my next visit to buy all the other things I had tried and wanted. This place is great. Whether you’re new to Middle Eastern food, or an old pro, come here and you won’t be disappointed. *Side note: I was a little shocked and surprised when the kid behind the counter kept mispronouncing the word GYRO. Seems like something you should know how to pronounce at a place like this.*

We bought a vegetarian pizza, 4 kibbi, and green beans at lunch. It was all very good. I ordered two orders of Kefta with potatoes for dinner and the next day for my lunch since I’m disabled. Later, my husband stopped in to pick it up and Goody’s had cooked a nice dish of Iraqi biryani. When my husband arrived home with the food and drinks we ate together. The food was very excellent as always. We were very satisfied as we were today. We plan to keep returning. The staff told us they are cooking a different dish each day. We like this idea a lot.

Overtime I come in here they change the price for some items(ex: labaneh) They also sell EXPIRED items for half price which is wrong and makes no sense… I agree with Hana, I bought some of their meat from the butchery area and it was smelly

Goody’s also has great halal sandwich meat such as: smoked turkey, mortadella plain & with pistachio. We love to make sandwiches at home when we are to busy to cook I almost forgot. they have fresh cheese and olives too. We love them too.

For tonight, we will happily split a gyro, a small cheese pizza, and some baklava. For the weekend, we will be dining on a delectable assortment of hummus, tatziki, tabouli, and pita chips. Be patient as it is well worth the wait or even better, call ahead if you know what you want. Goody’s lives up to its name and is a true hidden gem.

Things I miss about living in Los Angeles… diversity in food. Falafel brings back great childhood memories of lunches out with my dad. This place lived up to the memories. Food was delicious and the owners/employees very friendly. I will be back for the food and to check out the market.

Wow!!! Seriously wow. The nicest people in the world work here. Samples galore… we tried the kibbe, some kind of baklava and they have dips and pita chips out so you can try them. Good selection of middle eastern groceries too… lot of spices and canned goods and tea. I bought two lbs of tahini for 7.99. Yep, whole foods and central market overcharge for it. We also ordered dolmas… none of the weird bitter taste here. They were delicious. Oh and the chicken schwarma is amazing. Basically it’s a little piece of dearborn in Hurst which is closer to me than Arlington and ft worth. Very good prices too. Oh and they have goat meat!!! Yeahhh!

I stopped there with my wife to buy some Mediterranean groceries and the place is very clean and great service. Saw that they had an eating area so we had lunch there — great Chicken Shawarma and for dessert we had Kunafa which is a middle eastern dessert and it was amazing !!! — the best I have ever had — even better than the Kunafa I have had when traveling in the the Middle East.

I’ve only had Mediterranean food once before, so I didn’t have much to compare it to. But this place is by far the most delicious place I’ve come to in a while. I get the kafta and chicken sherwarma. It’s all very fresh and has a real authentic feel to it! Definitely recommend. :)

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Not only do they have a great variety of spices, teas, cookies, cheeses, veggies to purchase but also hot foods. So much to try here. Su is the owner and U’ve yet to meet someone in this business with a more pleasant disposition. Oh she’s so generous and gave my husband and me a sample of some of the yummiest«baklava» type pastry. If you’ve never tried Mediterranean /Lebanese food come here to but some & sample from their wide array of goodies. We’ll definitely be back!

I have wondered what this market was and finally stopped. So glad I did. Everyone here was so nice and helpful. You can run in for produce, they have a butcher and full meat counter, specialty ingredients, and they are a full deli. If you love Lebanese or Mediterranean food like I do, then you will be really glad to have this market in the neighborhood. I didn’t know this going in and just stopped to get ginger and shallots for a soup I’m making(they had both!). I couldn’t believe my eyes… pizza oven! Deli case full of hummus, dolmas, tabouli, and so much more. Sue was so sweet and explained that she makes it all fresh everyday and insisted that I sample everything. The grape leaves were the best I have had. I tried kibbeh. She introduced me to a wonderful dessert called halva(see the picture). She spoiled me and she didn’t even know how much I like these foods. I will be a regular here for sure and if your reading this, you should be too! I took pictures of the menu and posted them… you guys… the prices! So affordable and fresh and you can call in take out orders.

I would consider this place a hidden gem. I think people don’t know it’s there, and/or don’t realize what foods they offer(Mediterranean/Middle-Eastern). The employees are very friendly and helpful, and there are always samples available. They have a nice variety of canned goods, but their fresh food is amazing. There are a few small tables to use for dining in. Here’s a small sampling of their products: Fresh produce(lemons, avocados, etc) Super affordable, delicious flatbreads/pizzas made before your eyes in a stone pizza oven. So good. Fresh & pre-packaged baklava, warbat and other pastries FRESH hummus, baba ganoush, mutabal, tzatziki, tabbouleh, marinated olives, potato salad, stuffed grape leaves, etc Canned and packaged goods such as ghee, chickpeas, hummus, baba ganoush, rose water, dried bulgur, rice, rice flour, all kinds of olives, tahini, halva(halawa), honey, lots of spices(ex. zaatar, fennel, turmeric), pickled veggies, jarred sauces, etc Yogurts & cheeses such as Akawi, halloumi, labneh, feta, shanklish, and many more Breads such as pita, baked pita chips, lavash, sangak, etc Frozen section including phyllo dough, kabobs, bagels, Sujuk sausage, and more Interesting candies and dried fruit such as figs, molasses/nut candy, chocolates, gum, wafer, candy-coated chickpeas, Turkish delight, etc. Cold beverages including sparkling juice & imported sodas

Absolutely delicious, fresh hummus and dolmas! They have pre-marinated shwarma and lamb kabobs ready for purchase in the deli. If you are looking for a terrific selection of ingredients for cooking Mediterranean food, Goody’s is the place for you. Can’t wait to come back to try their lunch specialties and baklava!

We happened upon Goodys Food Market quite by accident while we were on our way to lunch at a nearby restaurant. Going inside to ‘look around’ we were greeted by several employees who went well ‘above and beyond’ to make us welcome and to acquaint us with both the café and the food market. Goodys is well organized, clean and attractive… an inviting atmosphere for shipping, having a meal, or purchasing ‘take out’ items from the delicious-looking deli display. The manager insisted that we try several samples of their deli items, and each was simply delicious! We spent some time browsing through the well-stocked food market and were amazed at the huge variety of items; largely middle eastern specialties. With the friendliness of the employees and the wonderful odor of the deli, we decided to have lunch there instead of going where we had originally intended. We were glad we did! Our lunch was perfect and reasonably priced… we enjoyed our visit to Goodys very much and, you can be sure, we’ll be back!
