02÷04÷16 UPDATE — I received a phone call from a representative of Reitman Sealcoating. She explained to me that they had recognized they were having customer service problems in the past and they responded my cleaning house and hiring new staff at the office. They sent a representative to my house to refund me the money I had previously spent on the Groupon offer, which is where I had the problem originally. I can’t comment on the quality of the work they do, but it looks like the owner is taking a serious interest in correcting their past mistakes and doing a good job going forward. I thank them for doing the right thing.

They are crooks they took my deposit then where 6 weeks late but they where smart enough to rip out old driveway so I couldn’t go to another company .Then when they finally showed up they did a terrible job and left a mess my driveway didn’t last 2 yrs

I used them to seal my driveway for the first time this year. Looks much nicer with their product than what others use. Also, there was a problem in one spot and they came back and fixed it without a question. They were so easy to work with. Thanks for the great like-​new driveway. Ready for winter!

They where 7 weeks later then the date they guaranteed to do the job. They already had half the money so I couldn’t use another company. The blacktop my whole driveway but left cracks everywhere. They didn’t do it on a proper incline so when it rains I have puddles everywhere. The owner Mr R was there but when I confronted him on the crappy job he did pretended he wasn’t the owner. Please don’t take my word on it do the research I called the Better Business Bureau when he was done. I just moved into the house and we were expecting our first child. This was a burden we definitely didn’t need. The best part about this company is that salesman. They will definitely talk you into using their business and then after that it will be nothing but regrets good luck guys

Please do yourself a favor and stay away from these guys. They took my check in July and it took them forever to do stage one of the process of new paving. I was promised that I could have it done by August 1^st before my tenants moved in. It is now September 1^st and they have not done it. Calls have gone unreturned. They wanted full payment and would not allow me to see the job (I live in the city — Job on LI) and when I refused to pay without seeing the job, they took me off the schedule and will not return my calls.
How are these guys in business with the way they have dealt with me as a customer?

Without question the worst company I’ve ever dealt with for anything under the sun or in any universe The absolute least professional firm it has ever been my displeasure to do business with. Run, don’t walk, to ANY OTHER paving or blacktop company you can. If you call Reitman for driveway work I promise you that you will wait forever and even THEN you might not get your driveway paved. I could not be more serious or honest about this. These guys are imcompetent, dishonest and completely full of it. Anyone who chooses to call these guys would have to be a total moron. I am, and boy am I ever sorry.

Used them for my driveway in NY, what more can you say about sealcoating? They came, did a great job and I didn’t have to pay an arm & a leg. I’m satisfied.

RUN, Don’t even think of doing business with these people. 2 years ago they did the reseal for me and it barely lasted a year. They called me the following year for regular service and I told them how bad the result was from last time. They admitted that the old product was not good and they had switched to this «much better» product and that they guaranteed it would make me happy. Here is where the big mistake took place. I said ok. First they screwed up the appointment time and did not even call me. A day after they finally completed the job I noticed a BIG problem. My driveway looked like a jigsaw puzzle. It was terrible. I called them back and spoke with Nicky and Sharon who told me Bob Reitman would call me back but he did not. I called several times and then was told that Terry would reschedule me for a re do of my driveway. That never happened and no body ever called. Then finally after making 5 phone calls they told me I would have to wait till next year because it was now to cold. They are thieves! I asked for my money back but of course that did not happen. These guys are pushing black water and stealing your money.
