This store is at the Walt Whitman mall, but separate and with its own hours. It’s Panera, so the food is the same. I ordered the Asiago bagel with onion and chive cream cheese. Service was good. This location is spacious, the layout is identical to the Mineola store. Got some work done during the morning lull. Loads and loads of parking available, since it is at the mall. In the morning, it appears, «the regular crowd shuffles in». They are a congenial lot.

Sandwichs, soups and salad… Better for you than a burger duh! Taste like salads soups and a sandwich.

I love panera bread and I love their salads. The people here are nice but they mess up your order too many times. And WHYARETHECROUTONSALWAYSHARDANDOLDTASTING?! it drives me nuts that I have to pick the croutons out of my salad. You can’t even bite through. They need to stop using their old croutons

Im sorry I dont get it, mediocre food, albeit a step above fast food, served to me on institutional trays that make me feel like I am in a nursing home, rather have recycled cardboard. If America thinks this is good food or deli, that says alot about our desensitized palettes, suddenly I see the scene from the Wall but instead of our children it is our palettes falling into the abyss of a meat grinder and coming out the same…

Very good food. Everything always tastes fresh. Soups, salads, and sandwiches — all good! Restaurant is clean and a nice layout. Lots of windows. Very bright. Convenient location near the mall. Plenty of parking. Free WiFi. Friendly staff. The BBQ Chicken Salad is delicious!

Aaawwwwful!!! Bunch of dumb kids that dont have manners. I have to greet them? I paid $ 15 for a lukewarm bowl of chicken soup and a sad little panini. RIPPEDOFF. The last time i ate here several years ago i got food poisoned so i havent been back. I think ill never be back.

I usually go to the location in Hicksville since it’s closer to my house, but this location is VERY spacious! Plenty of seating for the most part up until around 1pm it got really crowded. Great service here too, I hadn’t even filled up my cup with water before they had called my name my food was ready. My only complaint regarding this location is I wish there was an entrance to Walt Whitman mall– you need to enter from the outside. For the food– I’ve experimented a bit trying different sandwiches but I’ve solidly decided to stick with my half&half combo– Half Frontega Chicken sandwich + Broccoli Cheddar soup makes me a happy girl every time. I like the panini bread more so than the other sandwiches I’ve tried with just plain rye bread. I get a side of bread to dip in the soup– yum. I also think a half&half combo is better than getting a full sandwich since it mixes the meal up a little bit with a different taste. Also get a rewards card! I’ve gotten free pastries + coupons($ 2 off a half+half combo) by using it each time I go.

This Panera is hands down the best Panera I’ve been to in NY. The service is always quick, the staff from the managers to the cleaning people are all very nice. I love the entire atmosphere of this Panera and the food is always on point! Keep up the good work

Another reviewer made a comment regarding the location being better than the food. This was my sentiment as well. The interior is clean, well kept but I left feeling like I did not eat anything of substance. My friend is a fan of the egg soufflés, though she’s commented that they are not very filling. I tried the corn chowder and the Thai flatbread. Flat bread was like a taco with peanut sauce. No complaints about the bread but I didn’t feel like I was eating food. Chowder was so so. Meal was about 9 dollars. For the price you might be better off going with a local bagel store or pizzeria and benefit from better food and better service.

Normally I love Panera Bread but this particular location was meh to say the least. My soup and mac and cheese were barely lukewarm when I walked out and ice cold by the time I got home which was just a short drive up 110. But the worst part if the portion. I frequent PB and I normally get a rotation of the same 5 or 6 things. I was so hungry and got home to find soup that had 3 croutons in the bag, 3 croutons. To prove that the soup was never as hot as it should be the cheese was not even melted in it and normally I have shaved pieces of provolone but this was shredded fine pieces that looked like cheddar or something. Then I got to my mac & cheese and saw that the already little container was only half full. My poor belly was not happy. I moved close to this location so I will give it another try because I adore PB but I hope this was a one time thing and not their norm.

I think the atmosphere is better than the food. Large dining area, lots of brightness and open windows. Salads, soups and sandwiches are decent. I like breakfast the best. Try the Mediterranean egg white sandwich.

Not part of the Walt Whitman Shops(it is, but not attached). Quick and friendly service. Since we have the Panera card, we qualified for a free expresso drink. Caffeine is always appreciated to combat food coma…

I had a really positive experience at this Panera Bread. I was coming from NYC and picking up catering for a business meeting, and not only did and employee stay on the phone with me for a good 10 minutes or so, directing me to the location, but then the good was expertly packed, looked attractive and fresh, and then the same employee helped me carry it all to my car. I cannot stress the level of efficiency and warm customer service I experienced. I are coated it so much, I went back for lunch, which wasn’t the most amazing experience(the line was super long, the dinning area crowded, and the sandwich was in attractively made with the filling falling out so it made it difficult to eat, but the staff was friendly, helped me with my Internet connection, and even though it didn’t look very pretty, the sandwich was delicious. I’d definitely be back for catering, but as for lunch, I’d only consider it if I were in a hurry and not meeting up with people.

A couple of weeks ago, I went to Panera Bread for the last time. I ordered a Mediterranean Egg White Sandwich. When I got home, I opened the wrapping, and I realized the sandwich had NO egg white in it. I experienced a lesser issue a few months prior to that and wrote to Panera via their website. I was contacted by the Huntington Station manager within an hour. This time, I got no reply. I’m never going to Panera again.

LOVE this place. Their food is so fresh — I pretty much get the same thing all the time: broccoli cheddar soup, french baguette and a grilled chicken ceasar salad. I just wish they gave you more dressing!

Love the chicken frontega, although it seemed packed every time me and partner at work comes in to get our lunch. People are always nice and cordial. And I love the coffee, always hot and fresh.
