This place before was hit or miss for me, but i ordered last night. Delivery. For a family of 3. Hubby’s eating healthy right now. Everything was tasty, and yummy. It was a bit pricy, $ 70 But we have a ton left over. Enough for prob 3 more meals worth. So I just look at it that way to justify the amount. Service was GREAT! I was told about 45 min to an hour, but he was here in about 20. So that was great since i was STARVING!

This is by far the absolute worst Chinese food ever. I have no idea how this place even stays in business. Walked in and there was not a soul in sight. Slow night maybe? We didn’t know what we were in for. The lady came out and told us to sit down wherever and she brought us some menus. The menus look so good, full of dishes that sound really good and flavorful! It was actually hard to choose what to get because of all the options. We ordered an appetizer in the meantime and a couple sodas. The lady was quick to get our app and drinks which was cool. I decided on the beef Lo mein and my BF decided on the shrimp Lo mein. After we ordered we noticed some people came in and ordered to go. And another family came in and sat down. Well they never ended up getting service so they walked out after 10 mins of no menus and no one saying anything to them. Bummer… or probably better they didn’t stay. The people who ordered to go got their order before us which was kind of annoying considering we were starving. Once we got our food we were really excited because it was a lot of food and it was steaming! Awesome right?! WRONNNGG. There was absolutely NO flavor. Nothing. Couldn’t taste anything! The beef was some sort of mystery meat! I would’ve rather ate the meat loaf from a cafeteria at an elementary school than that beef. It literally looked and felt like cat food. Think I’m joking? Spend $ 13 and try it yourself. After a few bites we asked for the check and left. Such a bummer when you’re starving. I won’t be back. Oh yeah, and don’t go in there thirsty because you won’t get a refill…

If you want expensive but mediocre Chinese food, come here. For a couple of meals, two sodas and an order of egg rolls bring you to about over $ 40. The food is ok about mediocre. But not Matsu quality. I love the lady that is always there. She’s very friendly.

Wife and I both had Mongolian Beef lunch. We had the opportunity to select the right amount of heat in the dish and we loved the meal. Will certainly go back again soon.

Tried this restaurant tonight… My boyfriend tried it when he first moved to Huntington because it is next door to us… And he did not like it so he has never wanted to go back… While he was away I decided to give it a try because it looks nice inside… I ordered for pickup an order of chicken lomein… The online menu has it listed for $ 9.99 so when I go to pay it was almost $ 13.00. I asked why it was so much and the owner tells me they have done a price increase… I understand cost go up with food and labor so there has to be increases but they should be stated… and it wasn’t. I should’ve known then to walk away but I didn’t and I paid the bill and came home to eat… It was so gross… Super super oily and the chicken was so slimy… Next time I’ll actually listen to my boyfriend when he says a place is no good… Will never go back.

In my opinion the best chinese food in town. Always good. I like the Pork fried rice or the Chicken fried rice. The house special with Crispy fried noodles is always good too. Service is hit and miss in the restaurant, but the owner is very nice and aims to please. I usually just get food to go, as I live across the street.

If you have a very delicate palate, and a fat wallet, this place may be for you. My husband and I ordered one appetizer(minced chicken lettuce wraps), two entrees, regular size(beef and snow peas, and sautéed fish fillet with black bean sauce), and chicken fried rice(again regular size). Not excessive for two people, but the tab came to over $ 50, plus tip. And everything was bland! Couldn’t even say«meh, this tastes like chicken.» On the menu, the fish entrée had a red pepper next to it, indicating it was spicy. I’ve had oatmeal that was spicier! Good thing I had a bottle of Sriracha in the fridge! If not for the bottled hoisin sauce served on the side, the minced chicken cups were tasteless. The lettuce served with the chicken cups was nice though; fresh and crisp. The beef and snow peas were equally tasteless, and the beef was tough and a bit fatty. Perhaps I am at fault here, for ordering Chinese food from a place called«Sullivan’s.» I mean, after all, I wouldn’t order fish and chips or shepherd’s pie from a restaurant named«Wong Fu’s Irish Pub!» I must say though, that their delivery was prompt and the food was delivered hot. And most of the entrees come in two sizes, regular and large. The delivery driver was very polite as well. But I won’t be ordering again from this restaurant anytime soon, unless I’m desperate.

Kind of pricey for what you get. Egg drop soup practically had more corn than broth(and I don’t think it should have corn in it anyway). Ordered a main dish and my dinner partner got fried rice for take away, but I got no rice with my meal. I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

Order delivery 3 items… lemon chicken. Kung pao chicken… beef broccoli… took almost an hour to get it. Price wise it’s not cheap for.41.00 dollars. As far as taste and quality… it’s pretty bland and quality of ingredients it’s just no there. Disappointed… I definitely didn’t get what I paid for.

I live down the road from Sullivams and i’ve done my best to try and like them but every time i get food from there i pay $ 24 fo $ 10 dollars worth of food. Last time i went i payed for rice they didn’t bother to give me in a to go order… I won’t drive even three blocks to ask for rice i already payed for. Please don’t wat here so they will leave and a good chinese restaurant will move in.

I had high hopes for this place but I was disappointed. The service was great, which is the only reason why I am giving 2 stars. The waitress is personable. She’s running around taking orders over the phone and at the tables, while bringing out the drinks and food for everyone. The food is overpriced for what it is. It tasted like everything was frozen. Frozen vegetables. Frozen chicken. Too much sugary lemon sauce on the chicken. Nothing there was a wow factor.

This review is based on my first time at Sullivan’s. So my mom and I wanted to try a new Chinese restaurant, our usual norm was Eggroll King on Brookhurst and adams. We were seated by a young gentleman, he was cool, but the star of the night was the lady, I think her name is Sue. She is very sweet, has a strong accent(we couldn’t understand her at times lol) but still very sweet and friendly. Ok now onto the important part, the food. We ordered wonton soup, sesame chicken and an green onion pancake. Wonton soup — was decent. There was no MSG taste so that’s always a plus. The wontons were a bit salty, but everything else was decent. Probably wouldn’t get it again. Sesame chicken — YUM. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The outside was very crispy and the chicken inside was juicy. The sauce is awesome, not too sweet and not too salty. Perfect. Green Onion pancake — ooooooomg. It was SOOGOODANDCOOKEDPERFECTLY. I have tried many green onion pancakes, but THISONE was perfectly crispy and a good amount of dough(it was thin) also flavor is on point. At the end of the meal the nice lady Sue gave us a plate of fruit for dessert and some candy too. Very sweet. The only reason I gave this place a 4 star review is because they charged us for rice and the prices are a bit on the pricy range. Usually at Chinese places rice is free with your entrees. Other than that everything was very delicious and the staff was very nice. I’m hoping we get the same experience the next time we come back. :)

Repeated poor service made me drop from 5 stars to 3. There has been NO service the last 3 times I came for lunch. Just drop off the food at the table and leave the area… until I stand at the register to pay. I was the only diner all 3 times. This is making me rethink coming back, and I LOVE the food. I should have known today when I walked in and was greeted with«Is this to go?»

I’m updating from 4 stars to 5 stars. Sullivan’s is one of the real authentic tasting chinese restaurants in the area. And don’t forget to try their outstanding orange chicken!(And yes I know orange chicken isn’t authentic Chinese food) I don’t know why there are so many 1 Star reviews but I do notice that almost all the 1 star reviews are from Unilocalers who only have less than 5 to 10 reviews so they probably are fake bogus reviews from competitors trying to drive down Sullivan’s ratings. Eat here and you won’t be disappointed!
