I went there for Fathers Day. The service was excellent and the food was great. The décor makes you feel relaxed. We had a variety of dishes and we all shared. Everything was very tasteful. No MSG, which is a good thing. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I wish I could give a review from the food but we never got a chance to even try it. We came in at 2:30, ok it’s not or dinner, but… we were seated right away, got menus and we’re ready to order. We waited, and waited and waited even more for a waitress to take our order. We saw people that come in after us be seated and have a waitress. We asked if there was a waitress and was told yes. We still waited. A young man came over(not a waiter) and says«maybe I can take your offer?» Husband asks if we have a waitress and we are told«yes, but we are in transition and there may not be one for this area yet». Huh. Why were we seated there if there is no waitress for this area, but more so, where did she go since there were other people in the same area. Husband walked out, that was that…

You can’t go wrong with the sushi or the orange chicken. My wife and I dine in and get take out from here all the time. The Vegas roll and BSC are our go to’s off the sushi menu.

Is this a joke?! I called in an order and asked for no rice extra veggies and was told it’s an extra $ 1 I said ok, I get there and the guy at the front told me that the girl who took my order on the phone forgot to ask me what kind of extra veggies because it’s a $ 1 extra per kind!!! Ok note to self never ask for extra veggies again. But when I got back to my office I found that the lunch portion PLUS the extra veggies is basically a cup worth of food AND I got one 1 slice of zucchini! Also the food is in bed of sauce, it’s soup at this point. Thank u, now I have to go get me actually lunch food and I’m already out $ 8 something

Service: Quick Time of arrival: 6:30PM Reception: Ladies were confused who came in first Ordered: crispy orange chicken, shrimp garlic sauce, house special fried rice, raspberry ice tea Crispy orang chicken: not as crispy as expected: kind of sweet, not match to my taste Shrimp garlic sauce: didn’t taste garlic for me. tasted like ginger which i hate Special fried rice: the review here about the beef in the rice – chewy. Tasted okay only its too oily. Ice tea: tasted water. Lack of sweetness Will i ever come back? No. I would go back to Sam Woo. Fee paid: $ 40

Came here on a Sunday and it was empty, lucky us. Ordered the kung pao chicken, California roll, mermaid roll, and scallop roll. The rolls were good but I prefer sushi and sashimi. The scallop roll was to rich for my liking but I could see others loving it. The kung pao was pretty good, solid fresh tasting food. Overall pretty good but might check out what else is around before coming back.

Honey had Orange chicken… not a fan… thought it too sweet… I was content with their House Special Chow Mein… you absolutely have to ask for the crispy noodles to accent for texture with the rice they offer with the dish… service was good

We have eaten here many times, usually by way of To Go. The food is very good. My complaint is that the last time we ordered our spring rolls, the hot mustard was not included in our order. Now anyone who loves spring rolls knows they can not be eaten without the hot mustard. I called and told them it was missing and was told they would give me a 20% off my next order of spring rolls. I really didn’t think that was good enough as we only took a bite of these and couldn’t continue without the mustard. I feel like they would have kept a customer happy by offering another order of spring rolls at our next visit, but I was told«that’s the best they could do» as if they were doing me a favor.

Tonight we visited this restaurant for the second time this week. I can’t really say enough good things about the food, atmosphere and service. A few days ago I had the Chicken with Greens which was basically like the Buddhas feast with the addition of chicken in a clear sauce. My boyfriend had the crispy orange chicken and that was also very delicious. Tonight I had the chicken with eggplant in brown sauce and it was amazingly delicious.

We come here for lunch. Sometimes we dine in and sometimes we order to go! We have even had the food delivered to our office! Regardless the food is delish. Just amazing. We go for the lunch special which gives you a pretty nice portion for an amazing price. We are never disappointed when we dine there. The staff is friendly and always accommodating of any special requests and such.

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the very first time on the evening of New Year’s day. I am absolutely THRILLED with the food, ambiance, and prices at this restaurant. The food itself I would give 10 stars, if I could. However, I am rating it as an overall 4 stars because this place does not offer ANY kind of dessert… NOTHING…except the crappy fortune cookie… not even almond cookies. If all you are going to offer for dessert is a crappy fortune cookie, then at least give people the cookies dipped in chocolate. Honestly, after eating well seasoned meals my hubby and I like to share a dessert. Not being given this option REALLY was a downer, especially for my husband. The only reason he’ll probably come back is because I really LOVED the food, otherwise it turned an awesome experience into a very disappointing one. Anyway, on to the food review based on what we ordered. Wor Wonton: The BEST version I have ever tried, and I’ve been to restaurants all over the world. The soup broth was light, yet flavorful. It didn’t have that«Pledge furniture polish» taste that many Chinese soups have. I guess due to a mix of oil and flavorings. The veggies weren’t over coked and the Wontons were the perfect size, neither too large or too small. House Beef Steak: This was beyond amazing. The beef in the recipe is filet mignon, which is a very lean meat and can end up being not very flavorful. OMG, extremely flavorful. It was tender and cooked to perfection. The sauce was light and not overpowering. Buddah Delight: The perfect name for this assorted veggie dish. It had everything you could want in a Chinese veggie dish: baby corn, water chesnuts, snow peas, carrots, mushrooms, and a delicious light sauce. The House Fried Rice: Again, hands down the best I have eaten. The rice was fluffy, not overcooked, and filled with HUGE pieces of chicken, beef, and shrimp, plus some veggies and egg. It could have been a meal on its own. The prices for dinner were very reasonable. Everything is served ala carte… Prices ranged from under $ 8 per item to about $ 12 for the House Beef. They serve wine and beer and there is a Sushi Bar, but we didn’t order Sushi. Therefore, I cannot give you any advice on that portion of the restaurant. Our server, Angie, was great. She was very professional and polite. She made sure to check on us throughout the evening without us having to ask or hunt her down. As I mentioned earlier this place would be a «10,» but offering NO dessert options to patrons is really ridiculous. People should NOT have to go elsewhere to enjoy an after dinner treat. I would definitely recommend to come here for a great Chinese meal. It is NOTHING like take-out Chinese. It is fresh and high-end without the high-end prices.

What are coworkers for if they can’t recommend great locations to eat. I was told to try out Fortune Cookies and I’m glad I took the recommendation. Came here a couple times for their lunch special on Saturdays and each visit was a pleasant experience. Service is always on point and the food is always delicious. The restaurant is very spacious and with a multitude of TV’s at the sushi bar to avoid conversations with. On the healthier side of Asian Cuisine, Fortune Cookie provides healthy alternatives and even has a menu outlining what dishes to get for certain health issues. Got high blood pressure? Check out these items. High cholesterol? High Blood Sugar? They have items for that too. All chicken dishes are cooked with 100% white meat chicken breast, trans fat free vegetable oil with healthy fats, no MSG, and offers nutrition information on all dishes among many other things. With recommendations and substitutions, Fortune Cookies is a restaurant that actually cares about their customers and not just their wallets. When first seated, the server will drop off crispy noodles for you to much on while you look over the menu. I always get the delicious orange chicken with a side of fried rice. While the chicken can be a bit dry seeing as they use chicken breast, the sauce provides enough flavor. The lunch special used to come with a side of soup and egg roll for free but they now charge a dollar. Not a bad deal as the soups, sweet and sour or egg flour soup, are delicious; My favorite being egg flower soup. The egg rolls are the vegetable ones you can find in the frozen isle so nothing too special there. We’ve also tried the Kung Pao Beef and Shrimp with Garlic Sauce. Both outstanding and both highly recommended with the Kung Pao Beef providing a great balance between protein and vegetables. On occasion we ordered the Fortune Roll(Shrimp tempura, crabmeat and avocado topped with toasted salmon and Cajun pepper and served with our house special sauce). This being the only roll we have tried, I’ll withhold judgement of their Sushi bar once I try more items. I can say that I’ not a big fan of the house special sauce. It was a bit too tangy for my taste and overpowered the different components of the roll, even after you dab it with a bit of soy sauce. This isn’t to say that Fortune Cookies is a Authentic Chinese restaurant, far from it. Hell, they serve Sushi, but its one of the healthiest options out there when it comes to Asian Cuisine. With 29 different daily lunch specials to choose from under 8 dollars between 11AM and 4PM, Fortune Cookies is my go to weekend lunch spot when my craving for Chinese food peaks. I know be I’ll leave full with a piece of mind that I’m getting quality health food for a great price. Oh, did I forget to mention they give you a fortune cookie at the end of the meal? Go figure.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again I don’t like the food here but my family loves it. The service was great and the place is pretty clean for the most part. 4 stars because the family loves it and I don’t.

A friend of mine was raving on how the food was here, and so I decided to check it out. The place was not that packed, but at least the service was decent. What really made my jaw drop about this place is the lunch specials — and how ginormous(Okay, maybe not really ginormous, per se), the portions of food you’d get. For example, besides the little crispy fried noodles you get with the sweet and sour sauce, you also get a bowl of hot and sour soup(yes, vegetarian style) with an egg roll on the side with your choice of white, brown, or fried rice. I ordered the crispy orange chicken, and let me tell you, their chicken was just TODIEFOR!!! It was crisp enough so I could hear a slight *crunch* as I bit into it with my teeth, with a sigh in content afterwards. With a total price coming to $ 10.24(including a Coke), I thought that I got what I paid for, and if I could, I’d definitely return for a second trip. Panda Express; Pei Wei Asian Diner — You got some competition with Fortune Cookies.

We picked Fortune Cookies for my BDay celebration. Finding a Christmas Eve spot open can be tricky and open late makes it harder, add healthy choices and almost impossible. They took reservations for us and when we arrived our table for 11 was ready and waiting. Our waitress was awesome and all the staff are helpful. We had some sushi waiting for dinner and as always very fresh and tasty. We did family style and dinner came out very fast, we filled the table with awesome food and everyone enjoyed the whole experience. The food is great, the price is fair, the portions are good and the environment is top notch. I recommend this place for large parties or dinner for one. Great lunch specials and very good dinner prices. I hope to see you there.

I enjoyed my lunch at Fortune Cookies. Their menu consists of both Chinese food and Sushi. I did not try anything off the sushi menu. So, their lunch special prices were great. Most being under $ 8, it will come with rice and soup. I ordered the shrimp with garlic sauce with fried rice and sweet and sour soup. The soup was okay. But the portion was perfect for lunch. Also tried the orange chicken and egg flour soup. The egg flour was my favorite. I like how it’s a healthier option for chinese food. The interior design is modern and beautiful. I did not expect that from the exterior looks of it. It made the meal more enjoyable because of the modern design. I would come back for lunch over and over again.
