My husband and I ate here for the first time today after a guy we were drinking beer with recommended it and we certainly weren’t disappointed! I got the Deluxe Italian, he got the American. Both were delicious and packed with tons of meat! Great Italian deli! We will be back!

Pretty good sandwiches here. I usually get the 8 inch Cuban which is ham, roast pork and Swiss cheese and mustard with pickles on fresh baked bread served warm. It’s one of my favorite sandwiches at this place. When you eat there you get to help yourself to their cole slaw, potato salad and cold baked beans. It’s awesome! I love this local family food establishment! They also have a great Italian style deli and fresh bread!

I love this place. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years. I either order the #22(roasted turkey and provolone add salami or the Cuban. The best sandwiches! The staff is also amazing. The owner(I’m assuming) is a very friendly lady. Always greets you with a smile and remembers you.

I recommend #22. ROASTEDTURKEY sandwich. They sell both kinds of turkey so ask for the roasted turkey sandwich. delicious! !

Really great sandwiches and super fresh bread and ingredients. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The place is small, and outdated, but who cares when the sandwiches rock! Kind of adds to the laid back vibe and charm. The place is always packed, and that’s because it blows other sandwich places out of the water. Our go to fave is the #22– roasted turkey! We go all in and add the prosciutto! Try it. You won’t regret it! My hubby and I usually share the 16″ and it’s a lot of sandwich for the money. Today I only finished half of my share, and left feeling full, happy and satisfied. Now I have leftover sandwich to enjoy later! Lucky me!

This place is a hidden gem! Meatball sub and pasta specials are great. Bread and meatballs made fresh in house. Yum.

Some of the freshest(is that a word?) sandwiches around. Great lunchtime deals. The Chef Special(pastrami, turkey, cheese, mustard, and pickels) is heated and delicious. The Special Sub is a traditional sub but, it’s only $ 9 for a 16inch. That’s a deal. The service is what you’d expect from a family-run deli. That’s what i appreciate most about this deli. Always a lunchtime crowd so, plan ahead by calling in your order. I don’t because, I don’t mind waiting. Actually, orders go quickly.

We LOVE De Simone’s! They make many delicious products and we always enjoy our meals as well as the deli products we purchase and take home. Their hot pastrami sandwiches are OUTSTANDING! Employees are always friendly and helpful — and the portions they serve are very generous.

Not sure what the hype is about this place. We were pretty disappointed after trying the Italian and the Cuban. I would have to agree with Sharon M.‘s review with the«MEH». Definitely have had better sandwiches and definitely better bread. The all-you-can-eat cold sides bar thing is cool but not a five star sandwich.

This place rocks! The Cuban sandwich here is the best I’ve ever had! Yes! That’s right, Portos sandwich is lacking meat and flavor while this place has the crispy bread with hot meat and omg, soo soo soo delicious! You can always find a great sandwich here. Huge and very fairly priced! My go to spot! Ps. They also make huge sandwiches, up to 16″!!!

Can you say ‘meh’? First off let me say I am predisposed to want to see small family business be successful for all the obvious reasons. Given a choice I will almost always patronize them over a corporate chain establishment. I mean I would LOVE a top notch deli down the street from my house, who wouldn’t. With that being said I really hoped this place would be a find for me. Came in for the first time and the place was quite and what seemed like the owner was working the front. I let her know it was my first time and asked her what the place was known for and what should I get? She mentioned the turkey and Cuban sandwiches… being hot on the heels of Thanksgiving, I went with the Cuban. She was very welcoming and helpful… even charming. She told me about the salad stand, that they’ve been around for 20 years and asked me ‘where have I been?’ Again all very polite and pleasant. Got my sandwich a few minutes later and took it home mere minutes away. How was the sandwich you ask? It was meh… warm bread, cheese, pork, ham, mayo… sort of hard to get wrong I suppose but my disappointment was that it didn’t wow me. Nothing wrong in any way, just nothing exciting either. Damn, damn, damn. I really wanted a great deli down the street.

I would have never found out about this place had it not been for my bf and his family! They’ve been regulars here for years so when he took me and told me I HAD to try their Cuban, that’s what I did ! It was so good! Great quality meat and I love their bread. I haven’t tried any other sandwich because I always crave their Cubans. When eating in, they also have a sides bar that has a decent selection of potato salad, mac salad, beans and more. I personally like the potato salad. When a deli makes bread everyday for another local restaurant, you know it’s good. I highly recommend trying this place out! It won’t disappoint as long as you order a Cuban!

First they got me with the great customer service, than I opened up my chefs special sub. Oh my this may have been the greatest thing I have ever eaten! The bread, the meat, the cheese. It was amazing. I’ll be back, and I would recommend a hot sub!

… First visit. Took one bite of my boyfriend’s Cuban and knew I had made a mistake with my order. Got the cold turkey sandwich, mid-size. Quality meat, yeah, but it was SOPLAIN. And here I’ve been this whole time thinking I am a turkey type gal! I mean, it’s my go-to. But this sandwich was screaming for hot sauce, a chipotle drizzle, SOMETHING. Bread was tasty, though, and it’s not that the sandwich wasn’t … it just … wasn’t much. Bland. The salad bar is too legit. I went back for more macaroni salad! The potato salad is tasty, too. We got two sandwiches and a bag of chips(plus the two salad bar plates) for ~$ 15. Not bad! HOWEVER. Keep this in mind! We went on a Sunday afternoon. Place is supposed to be open until 4PM. A little before 3PM(an hour before they’re supposed to close!!) I went back in to get another helping of delicious mac salad … and they had put all of their chairs up and were sweeping the floor! W.T.F. Over the course of the rest of our meal, there was at least another 10 groups that showed up! Such a bad, bad, bad, bad, BAD practice… asking guests to eat outside or take it to go. Pffft. So off-putting. It made me feel like I had to rush my meal so that the people forced to eat outside had somewhere to go, since there are only three tables… I hope someone in charge reads this and makes sure they don’t attempt to close early! Unless you want to send a strong message to your customers: «DONOTEATHERE.» I mean, seriously. How long does it take to throw up some chairs and sweep? Two minutes? Very WTF from De Simone. I’m not sure I’ll be back… maybe just to get a Cuban all to myself! Just make sure you come a few hours before closing if you want to make sure you don’t get the boot!

I’m a firm believer that you can’t please everyone all the time. While I have had many a great sandwich from DeSimones, this review is specifically directed to my latest experience. DeSimones has very limited seating, so when we walked up and there was only one table left, I had to think fast… I told my husband to order for me, and I will steak down a table. «Well what do you want, he asked?» It’s an Italian deli, so order me a meatball sub. You can’t go wrong there right? Wrong! The meatball sub arrived lukewarm. I can’t for the life of me figure out how they got the cheese to melt, while the rest of the sandwich remained tepid. Now here is the kicker– frozen premade meatballs, that were as hard as bullets. I mean these meatballs were so tough, I couldn’t get a tooth hold on these suckers and they just rolled around in the bread. I quite literally threw the whole thing away. Thank goodness for their complimentary salad bar of potato, coleslaw and macaroni salads, or I would have been really hangry!

Amazing food, amazing service, low price, 5 stars! We were looking for a quick bite before biking at the beach, and we found this small sandwich shop. The staff are very nice, making small conversations with you, and making you feel comfortable. We shared an 8 inch roast beef sandwich to eat-in, and they offered us 2 small plates to help ourselves at their salad bar! They have really good mac-salad and potato salad. They also have cole slaw and beans, but we did not try them. The roast beef was really good, pink, juicy, and flavorful. Although the bread was a bit on the hard side. Will definitely go back next time if I’m in the area.
