There were two links to this hotel, so I’ll post my review twice Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin with this hotel from hell. Upon check-in, we had a 12 hr layover in Houston to and from our destination, we were greeted with the receptionist handing us a list of possible food places and a coupon for the restaurant and bar, only to find out everything to be closed or closing. Why wouldn’t she give us the heads up?(It was about 10:30pm) we were starving !!! But luckily the dominoes was open. The hallways smelled like a cross between wet dog, wet paint, and mildew. The carpets looked like they haven’t been cleaned in decades. I’m not even exaggerating — both in the hallways and in the room. I didn’t even want to take my shoes off while walking inside of our room. On the first night we had our layover, we left our jackets there and called Ramon(Ramond?) and asked if it could be held until we returned in a few days for our next layover. What a shocker when we arrived and NOBODY could find them. What’s worse is the manager was no where in site to help us out, and the receptionist at the time(Michael) told us that if it is there somewhere that we would have to send a return a label for it to shipped to us because«we left them there.» That was so rude ! If we were told our things would be secured after calling TWICE! Why should we have to pay for it to be shipped, IFTHEYAREEVENTHERE! Expensive jacket might I add. I’m just really unsettled at the thought of someone there STEALING our belongings after we called twice and a supposed note was written for them to be secure. All in all, do not stay here. There are other cheap hotels in the area. I’m just waiting to hear from this manager that I can’t get a hold of. Absolutely disgusted with every aspect of this hotel.

Get what you pay for! This hotel deserves a 4 star rating if you are staying for the night before a flight and deserves 1 star as far as hotel standards should go. Hotel location to the airport is unbeatable. Price is awesome. There is a free shuttle service and free breakfast(Breakfast is only a couple hours long I believe between 6 and 9). The beds and pillows are also probably the most comfortable I’ve stayed in surprisingly. Cons are the rooms smell musty, seem dirty even though I am sure they are cleaned, there are creepy druggy looking guests at the hotel, and the bar resembled the one in Star Wars. I was also more scared to drink the water in this hotel then when I was in Mexico. All in all for the price and location it is a good one night, but other then that I would stay clear.

The shuttle leaves before the stated time. I arrived in the lobby prior to my 9am shuttle time this morning to witness it driving off without me. They have you sign up for a time with your name and room # so I don’t know what the point of that is if they’re going to take off early without you anyway. If you get left behind I recommend taking an über. They are cheaper and arrive faster than a cab. If you are booking this hotel for proximity and the shuttle, choose another because their service is lacking.

If I could give a hotel I zero I would. I booked this hotel under the assumption that it was better than others in it’s price range, but I was wrong, very very wrong. First they didn’t tell us there was construction going on when booking(other hotels have a warning), they didn’t tell us there was no elevator(had to lug a over sized suitcase up six flights of stairs, but we’ll get to that latter), they no longer have a hot tub which was one of the reason I chose it, the staff was uncaring, and they knowing put us in the room one over from the hammering and construction. The check in and construction– We got to the hotel and they lady at the font desk asked us for our information followed by and«Does it matter if your upstairs?» To which I replied with a puzzled look upon my face«Why would that matter to someone?» She did not reply. Never once stating they didn’t have elevators and that we wouldn’t be able to use the baggage cart we had on things on which checking in. She gives us our cards and tells up to turn right pasted the pool. Which we do taking us down a hallway where we kept wassailing to we figured out there was no elevator. At this point we are mildly annoyed at the inconvenience, but push though. We make it up the stairs only to see tons of construction. We struggled with our luggage to get past the carts with tools and furniture for rooms they were working on in the middle of the hallway. We push on. Finally getting to our room we ignore the paint on the floor and weird smears and they lack of decent cleaning because we had just drove 3 hours and were exhausted. Only to be greeted with a chorus of hammers on the other side of the wall. After fighting trying to sleep for around two hours we call down stairs, and they with no apologies saw they will move is rooms. We get down stairs after lugging our stuff down the stairs again, only to be told they will not give us a down stairs room now, and will only try to put us farther away from the construction. The hot tub– We got changed after not being able to sleep thinking the nice hot waters would relax us only to find out we paraded our selves in our suits though the lobby that they hot tubs are gone. Giving way to a larger pool and a creepy over hang from the bar. so now drunk men and leer at the women in the pool. Which disturbed me as well. The Bar– The bar apparently a «hot spot» is in the center of the hotel is no matter where you got there will be creepy men leering at you as an added bonus. Overall– Please save your self the trouble and do not book this hotel. You may think it looks decent from the pictures but I assure you they are very selective photos and you will be disappointed.

I was impressed!!! I’ve never particularly been excited or moved by the mention of Ramada. I didn’t grow up really recognizing the name. SO I was nervous not knowing what to expect, especially with the price being so «affordable». But I got more than I paid for!
