Today I did not have a good experience whatsoever… First off they were not prepared even though I called made an appointment, this led to a subpar lady doing my massage and she was horrible. I looked up and this chick was strolling on her cell phone. Now look I know u get what u pay for and previously it has been good, but it was so bad that when it was time to turn over I opted out!!! I gave them two stars because they at least tried to rectify the issue. Here is my recommendation ask for MICHEAL you can’t go wrong with him. He is a professional unfortunately I can’t say that about the rest…

Basic foot massage place in Chinatown although it’s one of the lower quality in terms of facility. Also, the massage lotion/oil was too cheap(didn’t glide well) and my masseuses’s nails were to long.

After brunch but before homework deadlines, my sister had enough time left for us to hit up a Reflexology place. The best place to go is Chinatown. If any places charges you more than $ 20 an hour for it, let alone the Western spas charging three times that, LEAVE. The only thing you’re paying extra for is location and ambience. We have a usual place we’ve been going to for years, but my sister wanted to try a new one. Vi’s in the same shopping center as the new H-Mart, formerly AA Supermarket, it isn’t too big or too small. They have a small reception desk to your immediate left and three or four private rooms with doors to your right. I spotted a utility closet to the left past the desk, door slightly ajar. Don’t be put off by the lack of light. These spas like to immediately start easing you into relaxation. Straight ahead is five massage beds in the same room and music playing. They’re far enough away from each other to give people privacy and quiet without disturbing each other. Our usual place has towels on the beds, but Vi’s has these fluffy black and white blankets that my sister and I were covertly attempting to steal. They were SUPERSOFT. They did put a cross towel/blanket on top of us(keep your clothes dry from the water/you warm/modesty reasons. I was wearing a mid thigh dress). The water they soaked my feet in was above warm and cooled pretty quickly. Our usual is typically bordering on hot and gets to warm by the time they’re done massaging your temple, your head and your arms. They are more detail oriented, though and that I appreciate. The other place(I need to find the name) goes hard on pressure, so if you have deep muscle aches, that’s the place. Unfortunately, right as we were finishing up, I could smell bleach and it got stronger once we walked back into the hallway. That kind of ruined the end of the experience for me. Hopefully the next time we go back, it won’t happen again.

A wonderful deal for the price. The people there are always very nice and courteous. I would definitely come back again. $ 20 for a one hour foot massage and $ 45 for a full body massage.

Do not go to this place. The owner made an excuse not to provide a massage after I waited over 40 minutes!!! Why? So that she can accommodate 2 other people who wanted a 90 minute massage. Rude and so wrong… cannot pay me to come back.

The friend and I thought we’d check out this place, something different. I’m completely regretting it. Should’ve gone upstairs to Oasis and paid the extra $ 5. I thought it had some potential. They have rooms sectioned off with curtains so my friend and I got a private room to ourselves. From there, it went downhill. The masseuse I got was TERRIBLE. Inexperienced, could smell cigarettes on his hands, very rough, painful, and felt very rushed. I couldn’t relax and some of the things they do just don’t feel right or good at all. Need an example? At one part he worked on my back while I was still seated. He put his hands at my neck and started pushing down to the shoulder blade area… but kept going through my necklace so my necklace was choking me. I thought he would’ve seen my utter discomfort but after doing it twice, I stopped him to take off my necklace. And you know how they’re usually supposed to go slowly with fluid motions? Nope. Didn’t get that. I’d describe is as quick and stac-ca-to like and hurt. Other things I didn’t dig — lots of noise, loud talking, even my masseuse was knocking over furniture in the room. Trust me, don’t go here. Honestly the worst massage I’ve ever gotten.

Unilocal disappointment! I already have a favorite massage place in Chinatown but people kept telling me I was too baller for paying $ 30 so I decided to downgrade and try this $ 20 place since it had the best reviews on Unilocal. I called ahead and the lady told me to show up at 4:00 so I showed up at 4:00 only to have to wait an extra 20 minutes. Cmon lady, I just chugged my bubble tea to get to you! Anyway, they finally show me to my chair and the first thing i notice are the used towels still on the chair from the last customers. I politely request new towels as I cringe and take my shoes off. My guy spends the first 10 minutes playing with my hair and while I do have the silkiest hair in all the land, I felt like he should have been paying ME at that point. The massage itself wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great, they masseuses talked to each other most of the time and mine would walk away randomly and return abruptly to surprise-massage me. The space was cramped, just 5 leather chairs about a foot part from each other, there’s a bookshelf right at your head and an ugly beige curtain at your feet. To top it off, you can hear the people outside walking by. Would not recommend this place, even for $ 20, Triple Tree is the way to go.

i’e had Chinese Foot Massages in china, LA, seattle, new york, and now houston. this place is all right. the price for a foot massage is on par with other places. nothing too special that differentiates this place from others. so if you’re looking for a foot massage, come here. people may thing 20 $ is a bargain, but it’s normal. these aren’t trained people. this effect can be felt when going multiple times. each massage is different. it’s almost like you get the massage that the masseur/-se remembers/feels like giving that day. they speak little english, so you’ll have to get creative if you want them to focus on a particular body part and less on another. i do prefer if a guy doesn’t put his index fingers in my ears.

Call half an hour prior to confirm availabilities for the reflexology service. Pros: –Great front office personnel who would be capable of translating for you easily if you can’t speak the language. –Scalp massage, arms, feet, and then a short back massage bundled within minutes short of the hour. Have to first state that I’m Chinese but don’t look it. And I do prefer not letting it be known that their language is understood, so don’t tell. Without naming names, the male masseuse did do his routine without hesitation but made it obvious he was bored and tired. I totally understand but it did affect my self esteem. Were the big knots in my muscles not challenging enough? A customer sitting about an arm’s length away decided to make it his«learn Chinese» session distracting at least three of the masseuse. My feet were soon lifted up about five times for the pleasure of that particular gentleman with a «Your feet big. Da(Chinese for „big“). See?»(Thankfully not in reference of mine.) But to Mr. Customer, could you kindly refrain next time? It’s definitely not professional work. Or maybe he wasn’t used to the bone structure of a 5’2 woman but it was gentle enough to not cause pain and good enough to get the blood flowing. Would have been 2.5 stars but the $ 20 price tag makes it 3. I’ll head back to try someone else. P. S. I had the back massage done for $ 45 a couple of months ago. Um. don’t.

I like this place a lot. $ 45 for a full body massage is cheap and they try really hard to make you happy. Like in China, you can hear the people next to you but they use hot towels to get you relaxed. They keep getting more chairs but they can get booked up so call in advance.

I tried this place out a few days ago, and I have to admit that I was quite floored it only cost me $ 20 for an entire hour. It says $ 20 foot massage, but the therapist also works on your legs, arms, back, and pressure points on the body. Everyone there was friendly, and it’s a nice atmosphere for a massage. Trying out the $ 45 body massage on my next visit.

Spartan place, but friendly and enthusiastic staff. Curtains separate the body massage rooms, but the $ 45 one hour body massage was excellent if you don’t mind the lack of privacy and tons of people coming in and out. The scalp massage was really good, and it was over 95 percent on my back, which I prefer. Pressure was good and it was a harder and energetic rub. I think I counted 52 minutes, though, but in terms of value for money this place is great, and for that I can ignore the loss of a few minutes.

The $ 20 foot massage is quite much more than a foot massage. These are not professionals, so don’t expect it to always be very pleasant, but heck, I still can’t believe I got to be there for an hour getting a massage and what not for $ 20.

Don’t go here!!! I cannot stress that enough! I got there at 7:30pm. They close at 8pm, but still accepted me. They only gave me a 45 minute massage because they were rushing to go home. The employees were so loud. Made me feel like I was at a nail salon where they talk and talk and talk. I could not relax at all. The part that I look forward to is when they flip you on your stomach so they can massage your back. I didn’t get a back massage. The man thinks that slapping my back feels good or something. The second I walked out, both of them were right behind me ready to lock the doors. I noticed the owner was parked in the handicap spot and she’s definitely not handicap and her car did not have a permit either! Poor poor poor service!!!

«$ 20/hr foot massage» I saw a man on the side of the road with a sign stating the above. At first I thought, this place is probably sketchy. $ 20 isn’t that bad to lose if there is a possibility of a successful massage! I took the risk and walked in curiously. I inquired about the foot massage and the woman sent me to a chair behind a long curtain. Behind the curtain were 5 large black comfy chairs. Two of which were taken up by other people. This set me at easy knowing that others took the risk too. My guy’s name was Jeff and he didn’t speak much English. He started with my face pressing on sinus points then he moved to my neck and shoulders. He then moved down towards my arms and then finally to my feet. He spent roughly 20 minutes on each foot massaging and pressing on certain areas. Some points sent tingles to my head… He then told me to flip over and massaged my back for about 10 minutes. Can you believe I paid $ 20 for all of that? I can’t. I’m going back next week.
