It’s an okay liquor store and I found the Butter Shots I needed for the bread pudding I’m making. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of buying lottery tickets. I didn’t see that the PowerBall sheets were behind me. Does everyone here understand what ONE ticket for the next TEN draws means? I told him that, repeated it, he said he understood then took my 20 bucks. You guessed it – the yum-yum printed out 10 tickets for ONE draw. That is a waste of 18 bucks. First he tried to say that you could not buy tickets in advance. Then when I saw the PB sheets behind me, I showed him that was not true. He then claimed he could not void the tickets. So, go ahead and shop here for liquor, but buy your lottery tix elsewhere. Or just find another liquor store altogether. I will. Yes, I took the tickets. Had no choice. He had my 20 bucks. Lesson? Always buy lottery tickets using the sheet; never verbally.

I’ve been to this store a couple of times out of convenience. It’s between I45 and my house. So, stopping in for something to fill in the bar that was running low, this store worked out for me. It’s in the Kroger shopping plaza on the north side of FM1960. It is small. They will not have the selection of Spec’s. So don’t expect to find something obscure. But, it will suffice for basic needs.
