Delivery was quick. Pizza came undercooked. It was pretty good after I put it in the oven for a while though!

Stopped by and ordered wings and fried mushrooms. I should’ve known when I walked in and the smell of rancid grease filled the air! NASTY! Never again!

These guys make a really decent pizza! They’re super close, so we’ve never had them deliver, but it’s great to know they offer it. The price is well worth the pie, but I was not terribly impressed with the cheesesteak I ordered the other day. It’ll be pizza from now on.

Ordered delivery from here before with no complaints. Today the pizza was undercooked. I ordered a Greek salad, I received a salad with black and green olives. Not what I requested. Hope next time will be better

I called to do a delivery order. It took 10 mins for them to place my order because of the confusion from their end. I ordered myself some spaghetti & meatballs and also a strawberry cheesecake. Overall the food was not that good. Also they took forever to deliver my food. I’ll give this place one more chance but for right now I have to give it a 3. I tip the driver well but his service was sub par. Food-4/10 Service-5/10

Look, this isn’t world class pizza or anything, but they deliver fast, their appetizers are good and their pizza is decent verging on good. In Houston, it’s important for me to find a place that delivers quickly and this is it. I’ll definitely order from here again.

I love that they deliver to the Texas Medical Center. The food was okay, but at that time I skipped lunch by a few hours and couldn’t pick something up so I just wanted something to eat.

I have wanted to try Texas Pizza on Richmond for years and finally did tonight. I have to say it was a huge disappointment! I called in a to go order and the guy on the phone was completely uninterested in my order. I has to pull all information out of him like the various sizes and types of crust. He couldn’t care less. When I got there to pick up my pizza, the place was filthy. The employees were unfriendly, and the jerk who pulled my pizza out of the oven also rang my order up; the whole picking his ear with his little finger. How appetizing! Something other than making pizzas is going on there in my opinion. To make matters worse, when I got home and started to eat my pizza, all of the stuff on the first slice I picked up slid off the pizza. The pizza looked like garbage-sll the stuff on it was clumped together in the middle. And to really make things worse, the pizza tasted like crap. As hungry as I was, I only ate about a third of it and threw the rest away, now I have an awful taste in my mouth! Maybe something from his left ear? Who knows? Much better to go get ANY frozen pizza next time!

Well I ordered wings so maybe it was my mistake coming from a pizza place, I ordered 20 wings and had one tiny container of dipping sauce after being charged for more. I also ordered fired mushrooms and fries. tiny portions was very underwhelming and gross. Ended up just throwing it away. Don’t waste your time here.

Pizza is great at a great price! I really like it. It is in a sketchy area and the lobby does not look so great but that pizza is good! French fries and cheese sticks are also good! They offer a large 1 topping pizza for $ 7.99 too!

Super Bowl Sunday… just had an XL Greek Pizza and wings. First time here. We were in the neighborhood, walked in, placed our order. No issues, and fast, friendly service. Got the food home, it was hot and tasty. The pizza was not too greasy, and the amount and mix of ingredients was just right. Thanks! A great«hole in the wall» pizza joint — we will be back!

I was extremely excited to try Texas Pizza. Now I’m wishing I had spent my money else where. I had completed my order and had given the driver instructions to call me when he got here due to the fact that I find it rude to interrupt my coworkers or have them notice I ordered in food. After sixty three minutes later not only did he not call but he walked right past our front office and into the back where our cubicles are and announced very loudly that my order was here. As soon as I saw the size of my pizza I was extremely disappointed. To me the size medium at Texas Pizza is a size small anywhere else and is over priced if you ask me. Still some what eager I opened the box and found that my pizza was completely shifted to the right side and the cheese and pepperoni’s were no longer intact and it smelled awful. Like garlic and extremely old frying grease. After taking one bite all the eagerness that I once had disappeared. My pizza was cold and the cheese had not been melted all the way. I will never spend my money at Texas Pizza ever again.

If you like bad pizza, gross sides/appetizers, and questionable hygiene… look no further. Texas Pizza is the place for you. Sure, they’re open later than most area restaurants, but it’s not worth it.

great pizza! They messed up my order and gave me the wrong pizza, instead of exchanging it for the right one, they just gave me a new one(the right one) one size larger than what i ordered

I’m convinced that anyone who gave this place 4 – 5 stars doesn’t have a palate for pizza or pasta. It’s unusual to see such extreme ratings. I spent 20 years in NYC and appreciate dives and mom and pop shops, but the food here was tasteless. How can you mess up pizza? We got the veggie supreme, spaghetti with mushrooms sauce, chicken Alfredo and fried mushroom. Every dish was bland. Pizza was a bit soggy. It was almost 10pm so we ate it out of pure hunger but the kids didn’t finish and started to ask what leftovers were in the fridge and whether we could pick up food elsewhere. Those kids usually would eat anything, especially if starving. The location is sketch for those who are looking to do takeout. There’s only a small booth to eat in. Seems as if most of their customers are delivery but the chain pizza joints taste much better(and that’s not saying much)! The only slightly saving grace was that we had a 50% off coupon. Our fault as we got what we paid for.

This place is a pizza-dive. Which is not a bad thing, but it does have its detractors. I’ve ordered from here for a couple of years now and last month they ticked me off so badly I’ve vowed to not come back. Nothing will make me quit a place more than nickle and diming. Let me explain: There menu is listed in several places and all have different prices. If you order online its one price depending on which engine is being used, over the phone on thing, in person one thing as well. Tell them you have a coupon and quote the price and somehow you are charged the full price. When I pick up I can usually correct any discrepancies and the pizza was so good I overlooked it. HOWEVER you can’t do much about it when they deliver because unless you request it, you do not get an itemized receipt. I finally started doing that and noticed that the receipt showed several fees for($ 1) «over the phone» and($ 2) «delivery» and none of the special prices. I called immediately and was promised a refund for the $ 4 overcharge, but not fees. Ok. I’m fine with that, I can just pick up for now on… However they do not disclose these fees anywhere except when they charge you. I decided to pick up from there one last time and boom! I had another mysterious phone call fee and once again they did not honor the listed price until I pointed it out. This was the straw. I’m not cheap, I will pay for something I feel is worth it. Just don’t dishonestly nickel and dime me. Which is a shame because the good reviews for the food are true. Its an eclectic menu, the pizza is creative and so very tasty, the wings are even just hot enough to be called buffalo wings… Too bad their customer service is not on par.

I used a voucher from«restaurant coupon» website and what a great decision. I have passed this place many times and never stopped. The food was $ 19($ 34 pre-voucher) and it seems like a steal even at full price. This was an especially good value, based on the size of the portions. I ordered a large margherita pizza, wings and a small greek salad. The pizza was flavorful and the salad was huge. The wings weren’t bad either. Although this place is a bit out of the way on my commute home, I’m glad I stopped. DETRACTORS: Tiny parking lot and take-out only

I really wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, the only thing I loved was the service. Paid $ 20 for a «large» pizza that was a standard medium. Pizza arrived promptly but lacking in appeal. At first site, my pizza appeared exactly as stated. At first bite, it was still warm and tasted fresh. I was quickly surprised to see, as others have stated, that the pizza was obviously undercooked. If you can get a special here, pick the right pizza and ensure it is cooked properly, then this place would be a 4-star.

Absolutely terrible — avoid this place. Do yourself a favor and get delivery from anywhere else. I placed an order on a Wednesday night(hardly a peak time of the week), and it took twice as long as they quoted to arrive(1.5 hours vs the estimated 35 – 50 minutes). When it finally got here, the pizza was cold, the sauce was cloyingly sweet, and the crust was spongy and chewy. It honestly tasted undercooked, or like something soggy that came out of the microwave. I know it’s tough to find great pizza — or even good pizza — in Houston, but this is bottom-of-the-list type stuff that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. This was bad even by pizza standards in the South, and that’s saying something.

Few things in life are cheap, good and fast. Though, treating yourself to this too often will be detrimental to your health. Bread, meat, cheese, grease, and an assortment of seasonings will get you hooked. Biggest plus is the quick ticket time compared to the big pizza retailers. Though as many popular places can get expect a wait time on the real busy nights. I was originally introduced to this place by the delivery to the bars in the immediate area that allow food form outside. — California Garlic, Eh — Bacon Cheeseburger, Wow yes may I have some more? — BBQ Chicken Pizza, Yes… with another side of holla — Mexican Pizza, well its basically everything you think about Mexican food but on a pizza The minus. It is cheap so don’t expect it to look amazing. The portions are generous enough so really complaining about cost is splitting hairs at their point. Their appetizers are not made from scratch I mean if you weren’t expecting frozen pre-made to be deep fried then you are kidding yourself. I will continue to burn the inside of my mouth here.
