I moved to Houston after living in Wi and MN, the Target stores there have exceptional customer service and many employee go on to work at their corporate headquarters. I have been very disappointed in the overall experience at the San Filipe Target, especially considering it is in an upscale area. This Target is horrible as far as efficiency, customer service and assistance. I have shopped here multiple times at different times of the day and only one or two checkout lanes are open, the lines are always backed up. God forbid you have a question about inventory, good luck finding someone to ask, and if you do find an employee out on the floor to ask they will make you feel like an imposition or ignore you completely. The only reason I gave it 2 stars and will return is because it’s the closest Target to my home, and I love Targets inventory, prices, and style. I will say the service is a step above the local Walmart, so kudos for that.

The overall experience was not great. Prices and location are fine but the customer service left a lot to be desired. Will second guess my next visit.

Target will never see a penny from me and my family again due to the horrible choice of making restrooms welcoming people to choose their sex of the day and which bathroom they desire to use. This world has become a mess and it’s because of foolishness like this. Target your now officially a joke in my book. See ya! Hello walmart!!! Cheaper and more selection anyways!

Very standard Target. While I do feel like the cost of things in target has increased over the years, target still pretty much always has what you need and more. The staff is neither good nor bad. It’s just target. I’ve never been here during peak hours so I am sure that the parking here can be a problem.

This target is great … Much bigger than the one by my house and always short lines when I’m in a hurry.

Computer stupid working during my check out. We had to suspend the translation and I lost the money on my gift cards. Took about 20 mins but they did give me credit back that I had

I prefer this Target because it carries a couple specialty beauty products that other Target doesn’t carry normally. The store is clean, parking is easy to find, and the staffs are fairly friendly. I have spent a great amount of time at this Target over the years. I recently become very disappointed in the store. Products are not placed in the right place with the right price. I almost always have to do price check on all my items to know how much it costs. Household essential items are always out of stock whenever I’m here. Come on Target! It’s a reason why I shop here and not Walmart. Be more organized.

Went by this Target tonight and encountered a super nice and helpful employee in the electronics dept. Finding polite ‘and’ helpful is so rare these days, those that ‘are’…Shine! Thanks!

I’m a frequent shopper of Target & one of the locations I shop at is this Target on San Felipe in the Galleria area. It’s stays pretty busy & with its fair share of employees it stays pretty neat & clean. On busy days like most stores they’ll be a line back up or two or maybe the restrooms need more tissue but that’s pretty standard in a high traffic place such as Target in this location. I know the store manager he’s a pretty cool guy & is strictly about business overall. There’s a few other other team members and ETL’s I think are pretty amazing as well. No matter what there doing if you have a question they will stop what there doing and help you. They have a pharmacy at this target and a grocery dept it’s not a super target but what they do have is more than enough. The electronics dept is pretty nice with the new makeover the dept just went through and I love it! Around this year because the decorations are beautiful on display I wish I could take them all lol. The employees are very helpful and some may think that by cashiers asking every customer if they want a red card is a little overwhelming honestly there really trying to save customers money. I get it it’s there job. I will continue to shop at this store and I hope this review was very helpful. Have a great day:)

I ordered these YELLOW bathroom rug and toilet seat cover online and went over to pick it up at the store. Yellow is such a hard color to find! I guess most people don’t choose this color so you have to really search for it online. Anyway, since it’s December and it’s the holidays, there were lots of people either picking up items, returning, exchanging… You get my drift. There was some difficulty in finding my items and the customer rep, Kimiyia, went Above & Beyond to locate my items. She knew my name by the time she found it, which was after she ran around the store AND offered me free sbux while I waited for her. She is great! Now I get to go home and enjoy my BRIGHTYELLOW bathroom :)

A lot nicer than the Target in the Med Center where I do most of my shopping! Big, clean, and pretty well organized!

Target really is on target for me — consistently a great value. They almost always have what I’m looking for, decent quality and fair price. Oh — and returns are hassle-free!

I’m torn about this place. I work nearby and come here for all my odds and ends. The staff is usually good, nothing to complian about but nothing spectacular. They usually stock up on most food items also. The fruits and vegetable selection can be a bit sparse but that’s expected, its Target not a grocery store. My review is for the Starbucks inside the store. There wasn’t a Unilocal page for that but there might need to be. I would give it 1 star. The poor woman«working» the counter might’ve never even been trained on how to work all those machines. My pike coffee with steamed coconut milk and a lemonade took almost 10 minutes from order to finish. Ugh. At least I had coffee afterwards.

I run most of my errands after my BNI meeting lets out, since it’s still early enough in the morning that the devil’s hot breath on your neck is not too bad yet during the summer months. I would rather walk across an uncovered parking lot in a black suit at 9am than at noon during these six months of misery. Today one of my errands took me to(shudder) Target. This Target is in a classy area, a stone’s throw from the Equinox gym about to finally grace our fair city. However the«wrong side of the tracks» is very elemental for an experience here. There was a large black truck doing displays of speed and tire spinning in the parking lot. It was noisy, smokey, and obnoxious this early in the morning. And it was a truck so it’s not like anyone was impressed like if it was a Corvette(Fett’s Vette) or one of those Fast & Furious looking cars with those huge spoilers and NOS stickers that are always weaving in and out of traffic out on 10. One of the manager looking people was swearing under his breath(said truck had dropped off a young lady for work before making another fast loop around the parking lot) so I am assuming there is some backstory there about a lady-kin shacking up with a wannabe thug(who sped off too quickly before I could give him my business card in case he ever had truuuu thug problems in federal court I could help with if he could give me many American dollars) so I decided the noise was obnoxious, the speed unsafe, but the manager-ish guy that looked exactly like Keegan-Michael Key(of Key & Peele fame) was hilarious and had quite the swear vocabulary on him. They had no manuevery carts so I had to take a small handheld basket. I was buying a fireproof safe for my important documents(Magic the Gathering mana land cards obvi) and wouldn’t you know, a fireproof safe does not fit in the fucking handheld basket. So I had to carry the heavy thing all round the store like the help. They had two check out lanes and both were moving at a snail’s pace. Considering how full the parking lot was this was not enough cashiers. I waited longer than I was happy with. But the cashier was as polite as you can be as a Target cashier. She didn’t tell me to go fornicate myself so this location is better than some others. So my next complaint on borrowed time will be when Target(once again) gives my credit card info out to just about anyone that wants it and has a slow third grader’s capability behind a terminal. This was more of a Wal Mart experience overall than a Target experience you could grudgingly accept through gritted teeth. This is out of its element on San Felipe and will only be more obvious once the $ 200/month gym opens around the corner.

I usually love shopping at target but the last couple of times I’ve been their, items that I’ve wanted at this location have been out of stock or they just are not stocking the shelves. I’ve worked at target in the past and they were all about making sure shelves were stocked but not at this location. I will still continue to shop at target because the competition is worse but next time I’ll choose the Meyer land location which seems to do a better job at this than the San Felipe location.

As someone who is a HUGE fan of Target, I have to visit any one that I haven’t been to before. I moved to the area this past weekend and decided to stop by. I was definitely disappointed that this location is not a Super Target. I kinda forgot that they make normal Targets. In general, it was your basic Target. Nothing overly good or bad about it. If I can find a Super Target nearby, I will probably end up shopping there.

Excellent store! From staff to selection, this location is at the top of its game. Clean. We’ll organized. Very well maintained! I’d drive a cross town to shop here at opposed to the location by my house due to the top notch service and variety!

This is an old school target. So it’s fairly small and the layout is slightly different from the newer targets. Location is convenient if you are in the Galleria area but otherwise not much to go see. At least, there’s a traffic light that helps you get in and out on Felipe fairly easily.

I live in between this Target and one farther down Westheimer and I prefer this one due to the better layout and selection. I went to both in the same day one time and the Westheimer one had hardly any swimsuits or coverups in stock but this one had a wide selection so since then I’ve been preferring this one. With that being said, I only come to this one during low traffic times, like weekday mornings or in the evening cause I avoid 610/Galleria traffic at all costs. This location seems to always be crowded when I go and most of the time I have to park far away which is really only an issue in the summer. I’m a loyal Target shopper and get most of my household/cleaning essentials here PLUS I have a Target debit card and get 5% off everything! And don’t forget about Cartwheel!
