Without being fickle, I have to change my review. After coming back from lunch, I try to go to my room to get freshened up to find my key doesn’t work. After several times of trying a young boy peaks his head out and shakes his head. Confused and angry because my things are still in there, I go to front the front desk to see what was going on. Apparently, the $ 75 I paid was ONLY for that late morning, not into Sunday morning like the man told me TWICE. I am infuriated. That is the most unprofessional and deceitful thing you can do as an inn. Anyways, my things were neatly collected and waited for me in the employee laundry service room. After I got home I realized two things were missing; my toothbrush and head scarf which is no big deal. So embarrassing a a few workers stopped to watch me get my bag and walk out. I’ll never come here again just for that horrible lie.

Reasonable price compare to everything else around here especially if you haven’t book in advance. This was the only place that had vacancy at 1 am. Very clean and spacious room, microwave, mini fridge, coffee pot, hair dryer, TV with cable and DVD player included. Would definitely consider booking for future trips.

Wow the Palace inn was a great experience. The rooms were really nice but the area was the best. There was very diverse food around the motel and it was very safe. When I took my family there I felt that it was very safe. I let my little toddler walk around the parking lot.

Wow, someone could have TOLD me this was a hooker haven… I used to live on the corner of Voss and Westheimer earlier this year and I had a buddy come to town. We are loud and rowdy when he comes to town, so my girl told him to stay at a motel this visit since she’s preggers. So, this was the cheapest lil motel closest to the apt. We go out and party and I bring him back to the Palace Inn to check in that night and the guy at the(bulletproof) window says a room is $ 30 an hour… We are like wtf? huh? He then repeats it. I’d never heard of motels«by the hour» but it didn’t take me long to figure out why you’d need one temporarily. Anyway, my boy got a room for the night. Since it was still relatively early, we decided to walk over to Michaels which was right across the street kinda. When that let out at 2, we walked back to the Palace. There must have been about 20 or so «working girls» mulling around the area by that time. I didn’t know Houston had a «ho-stroll or track», but I sure bumped into it that night. The room was gross, and the area was full of hookers. Luckily, this was my college bud so it was all laughable, but heaven forbid if this was family and I wanted to put them someplace close by.
