Our Legends Cigar Bar

Excellent members only cigar bar!

This is a private cigar bar, if you are not a member or invited to an event there do not waste your time. Was visiting houston and was intrigued by the google and Unilocal reviews, yet the listing fails to mention that it is private. Wasted an hour of my time driving to and from my hotel to get to this place only to be turned away.

Well me being a cigar smoker myself, I have tried to get into the place just based on the few good reviews it got on Unilocal,and when i get to the door, they tell me its a «PRIVATE» cigar lounge, $ 1500 to get in. Mind you I have money to buy my own cigars, drinks, or What have you. I just wanna check the place out. Must be the reason it was only 8 people occupying the building. I say if its a private establishment, don’t advertise it to the public on Unilocal like its open to anyone. A waste of my time.

This is a very nice Cigar bar. I have not been to many cigar bars in the city but the few I have visited have nothing on Our Legends. This is a members only cigar bar. The only reason I was there was for an event that Our Legends and Crown Royal put together for people to be the first to view a privately owned stunning display of original black and white photographs taken during the center of the Civil Rights movement from 1963 – 1965 in Montgomery and Selma, Alabama through the lens of the Selma Alabama Police Department.
Cocktails were provided by Crown Royal and it was delicious as well as the hors devours. The walls are adorned with African American legends and so you get a sense of history while you are there. There are large flat screen tvs around the walls so you definitely won’t miss a game. They have a private area for the smokers and it is well ventilated. This is a very upscale cigar lounge. I am not sure what it takes to become a member but it’s definitely worth checking into if you are looking for a nice Cigar establishment to be a part of.
