I was here for about 30 min and nobody even came to give us a menu. Some Asians came in and got service right away. Way to go new la crawfish. Never coming back

THEBEST garlic butter explosion you could ever have, if you’re looking for that twang that makes your mouth salivate this isn’t the place! Think savory, buttery, and tons of fresh garlic! I never leave unsatisfied! Don’t forget to order the Cajun fries too!

I waited 30 minutes for them to bring me my spicy garlic butter crab. But when they did it was cold the potatoes were uncooked and the corn was over cooked. All around just disgusting. then when i told the waiter it was cold she replied back that sh would warm my crab in the microwave. I must of gave her the evil eye i just said no thank you take it off my tab… i wont be back to thelis stop

Their crawfish is really good. Their grilled oyster is very tasty. I love it and I will make a point of stopping by again the next time I am in the area.

1) The service was horrible! The wait staff are lazy and rude! They seemed like they don’t want to be bothered, but expect you to leave them a big tip for crappy service. I used to be a waitress so I always leave a very generous tip, because I understand how hard it is to make money being a waitress. However, that doesn’t mean I’ll still leave you a tip if you don’t even want to do your job. Why be a waitress if you don’t want to wait on customers? 2) The crawfish was bland and SMALL. It lacked flavor even though we got the spicy garlic butter. The garlic butter was more oily than anything. It has chunks of garlic, but it just seemed like they threw garlic on top of the crawfish. Not worth the money at all! There is another place down veterans that has better crawfish and is cheaper! 3) Lastly, I don’t like to be lied to! I read some of the other reviews and was told by friends that the owner said he farms his own crawfish and those are the ones he serves his customer and that’s why it’s always big. Well that’s a BIGFATLIE! The waitress said they get their crawfish from a guy in Louisiana and that because they pay kind of high right now, that’s why their prices are high on the crawfish… If you are farming your own crawfish, you shouldn’t be paying someone in Louisiana. I really hate when owners try to lie to customers just to keep their service or to make them seem better than the next place. Whether you get them from LA or from your own farm, doesn’t matter to me. Just don’t lie about it, it’s useless and makes it seem like the owner thinks his customers are stupid. I will never return. Not worth my time or money at all.

Seriously my favorite crawfish spot. The crawfish is always big, especially when it’s in season. The biggest crawfish anywhere. Spicy butter garlic, no disappointment. The only problem I have about this place is service is poor. There is one waiter that is pretty good, but the others seem like they could care less about their job. They share tips also

If you can stomach the spice, this place has the best spicy Cajun crawfish in Houston, hands down.

This is where we go for our crawfish cravings. I feel like it’s even better than some the hyped up places in bellaire… They always make sure the crawfish they serve is good quality. Even if it’s not in full season they get decent size ones so you’re still left wanting to eat there again. They also have good food other than crawfish. But we mainly go there for crawfish We always get the sweet potato fries too!

It was my first time eating this type of meal. Lots of fresh seafood, however extremely heavy and very garlicky. I tried the shrimp boil grilled calms and the crawfish boil. Everything was extremely oily. I have felt this food in my stomach for a very long time. Not a fan, sorry…

Truly the best Asian garlic butter crawfish in the Houston Area! How do I know… the owner has a longgg term account with a real good crawfish farm in LA. Don’t buy into those other restaurants that say they have a farm in LA. That’s a million dollar + venture Seriously! He’s also a wholesaler here in Houston. The farm he contracts with stays very innovative on producing the best quality crawfish. It seems obvious to me that he sells his primo stash in his restaurant. The owner has worked hard over the years to be where he is now. I’m proud of his hard work! On to the crawfish… Yes he does serve the best and the tastiest Asian garlic butter ones. These crawfish are always perfect in flavor, tenderness and sweetness. Yes crawfish are suppose to be tender and sweet if cooked properly. They use some recipe that creates me making uncontrollable mouth sounds of pure foodie ecstasy!!! Don’t just scarf these down. Every crawfish deserves a good lickin of all that buttery garlic on the shells to a slow taste of the wonderful flavors. Yes this crawfish can produce a sensual experience!!! «O» When you purchase your crawfish you’re only paying for the crawfish. So the good news is that you’re not paying $ 6.99 a lb for potatoes or corn which cost much less. The corn and potatoes are sold for much less. They serve other seafood entrees also and beer. If you eat in they have plenty of tables. Not sure how crowded it is at prime time though. I know at 9pm they can still be half full. The owner told me they will be expanding in the future. The friendly young women waitstaff came by and cleaned my table periodically and tried to be very helpful. Don’t forget to tip them. They also sell the crawfish to go. You have a choice of mild, medium, spicy and ex spicy. I’ve tried the spicy and ex spicy. There seems to be more seeds in the ex spicy. If you’re like me and want to enjoy the whole crawfish(lickin the buttery garlic shells) I would suggest spicy because it’s plenty hot but doesn’t mask all that other goodness. Seriously worth the drive if you want the best! Unilocal Review #312

Since my first visit here, I have not once been disappointed! Their snow crabs are to die for, as well as their shrimp and crawfish. My preference is garlic butter medium. All their seafood is so fresh and excellent quality! If you love Asian style crawfish, snow crabs, & shrimp let me tell you, you won’t be let down! Just try them once & you’ll be back for more! Thank you New La Crawfish you guys rock!!!

This is one of my favorite crawfish joints. They’re close to home, consistently good crawfish and oysters, clean, and good service! I usually order grilled oysters with garlic butter and 5 lbs of crawfish with garlic butter. Yessss, the garlic butter is that good so I want it on everything! Crawfish bag comes with 1 red potato and 1 piece of corn, which I’m not a huge fan of, meh. The corn is never sweet and the potato is plain and boring and sadly cannot be substituted. I’ll live without them. Don’t forget to ask for a side of the artery-clogging garlic butter for dipping! You won’t regret it. Maybe later on in life though.

This was my first time here! And my overall experience was pretty great! I really enjoyed the crawfish, they were packed with flavor and they were a pretty good size! I also ordered a cup of the gumbo but I didn’t really care for it I wouldn’t recommend it! But overall this place is great for a fun outing with your family.

My visit here came after a very disappointing experience with a TOOOOTALLY over rated crawfish spot on I-10. I needed my crawfish fix(in my Pookie voice)!! The crawfish here are well worth my drive from the inner loop(610 for the out of towners). I ordered SPICYGARLIC — trust me, you need this in ya life STAT! They were so good I went 2 days in a row. The crawfish are a good size and the seasoning can be tasted throughout the entire mudbug! The customer service was great. I sat at the bar so I could see all of the dishes being served and I plan on returning because the fried seafood looked delicious. Granted, any time I cross their threshold I’ll be ordering crawfish. I’m guessing their fried rice is worth a try as well because 16 orders of it went out in my little 30 minutes at the bar(yes, I was alone so I had every opportunity to be nosey). Crawfish lovers near and far you won’t regret making your way to this little hole in the wall!

I have visited New La Crawfish Boil Restaurant twice with a business partner of mine. We ordered the house special fried rice, a dozen spicy garlic shrimp, 2lbs of spicy garlic crawfish, and 1lb snow crab/king crab. We literally had ourselves a seafood feast. The seafood had lots of flavor the spicy garlic sauce had a lot of butter which when cold will harden and remind you of what is now possibly clogging your arteries, but hey we don’t eat this everyday so I figured it’ll be okay. I want to go back and try their razor clams and oysters.

Okay… I don’t do many reviews but I had to for here. It’s freaking amaze balls! Crawfish for the beginning of the season was on point, good size and delicious! Razor clams… The shizzle. And the oyster were sooooooo sweet and mouth watering! Service was on point. I love the fact that they constantly empty your bowls from all the crawfish tails and heads. Definitely coming back. Tomorrow. Every day.

My family knows their family and we come in every now and then to get our feast on crawfish. Spicy garlic is what I usually order. The crawfish is soaked in this awesome sauce. Be prepared to get your hands dirty and intake some tasty foods. It’s not as spicy as I want it to be, but satisfying. The price for crawfish is great too! Speaking of size, check out the photos. Not many restaurants that serve crawfish come close to their size. My friend gets extra butter on the side and dips his crawfish in it. It’s tasty, but so unhealthy at the same time lol. My brother got the shrimp po boy and we saw that their bread is huge! The shrimp was great. Not too much batter and it had flavor. Service is okay here. Every drink is refilled and the food is brought out quickly.
