This place has the best Coke dispenser in Houston. For starters, they never run out of ice, like some places. And the ice is neither crushed or cubed. It’s something like shaved ice that forms little clumps that yield/​crumble on your tongue. Very nice. The coke is mixed well and the machine lets you spritz your drink with any/​all of three little buttons (vanilla /​cherry /​lime).
When the Coca Cola company got around to it, they really botched Cherry Coke (in a can). And the vanilla in canned Vanilla Coke is so overpowering it tastes like your drinking women’s cologne. Here you can control how much flavor you get. Just hit the flavor button late in the pour.
Believe me.
Simple pleasures, are what this shitty economy is about.

This place actually has great lunch!
I’ve tried the chicken salad sub and the tacos. They’re both excellent. I’ve heard they have good burgers and Phillys as well.
Get the lunch combo and try Zapp’s Voodoo chips. I’ve never found these anywhere but this Chevron and they’re really good!
Nice employees working behind the counter as well.

So here I was p… d off that we were going to get yet one more filling station at the corner. I have to tell all of you that you may stop in for some made to order tacos or freshly made subs! The staff is friendly and the place is spotless! I like going there. :) yummy food, sounds strange what the heck!
