Main Street Chinese Buffet

This review is for the restaurant called Café East located at highway 6 and Bellaire. This place was horrible as far as the food goes. There is more American style food than Chinese food. The fried rice (shrimp and veggie) was burnt. So were the noodles. The food was cold when we arrived. But mid meal they put out hot. But it just wasn’t very good. The sauces were bland and flavorless. The General Tso’s chicken wasn’t crunchy like its supposed to be. Not at all what one would expect at a Chinese buffet. If you can help it don’t stop here. Go someplace else. The best thing about the place was our server. She was very attentive and courteous. Too bad the food she was serving wasn’t worth her excellent effort.
