I made an appointment to see Mary this week for a color & cut within the same week I called. Mary was incredibly professional, calm, and friendly, which made me feel reassured as a first-​time customer. While I was waiting for the color to set in my hair, she even offered me a drink and cream puff, while unexpected, was incredibly nice. There was also a lovely magazine spread throughout the salon, which was a nice way to pass the time.
I requested an ombré color, which turned out amazingly and along with the cut, only took about 1−½ hours and $ 85, which I think is truly reasonable for such a job well-​done!
I will definitely be returning to see Mary specifically for future haircuts and color!

I’ve been here 3 times now. I have to admit I don’t remember who cut my hair the last time, but it was a different girl than the other two times.
I’ve been satisfied with the cut each time, and you can’t beat the price.

I feel the need to update since I gave this place 5 stars earlier. To be fair, I did not get Michelle this time. I was walk-​in both time but this time it was later in the day, an hour before closing time as I was getting off work. I had an older lady. She was super nice but the skill wasn’t there. I came in for something different, 3 inc. shorter. All I got was a straight cut. Straight! She charged me 30 $ and I tip $ 10. $ 40 was very expensive for just a straight cut with no layer or bang. I should have gone to some other place for the $ 12 haircut instead. Even my co-​workers said «$ 30 for that?» Yup. Sum up how I feel my entire week.
And do ask for pricing as it varies depends on how much they like you. I believe the sign says something like women’s haircut is $ 25+? Something similar to that. A teenage next to me was very friendly and energetic and chat up with her stylist in Vietnamese and she has butt-​length hair and got shampooed, cut, blow dry. As she was checking out and went to her car for cash, the owner asked how much stylist wanna charge her. She said $ 10. The owner said «are you sure?» She said yes because she’s a student. Wow. I wish I said I’m a student!

I tried this salon for the first time due to its good reviews. I asked Mary to just trim the ends and that I didn’t want to change the length. She did exactly what I asked.
She not only washes your hair before cutting but she also style your locks in the end. I loved the way I looked after leaving the salon and how my hair was cut.

I would honestly not even give this place a star… Went here to get my hair colored and had a horrible experience. My head was being pulled to the extreme’s, the fact that she was brushing the color through my hair made me loose a lot of hair. I have never ever been somewhere where they apply color so poorly, she was literally combing it through my hair but since i have such fine long hair it was getting very tangled and almost to the point where I just wanted to walk out. I couldn’t believe the whole process, this isn’t my first time dying my hair but it will be the last time I ever go to this location. The color was applied to my hair (incorrectly) and my scalp started to burn!!! Like to the point where I couldn’t handle it anymore… I told Mary that I couldn’t handle it and she just tells me I have a few more minutes… uhm no I can’t handle this anymore. All she did was hand me a comb to try to ease the pain but honestly that just made it worse I have to go to the restroom and use my hands to try to ease the pain… nope. I told her I need her to wash it out it was getting unbearable, so then she washed it out. Thankfully the burning stopped but my scalp felt damaged majorly. Another thing that I thought was way off was the fact that she used the same color on my roots as she did my whole head??? I have my roots growing in, which is virgin hair and will pick up the color way more than the rest of my hair. Any other professional place that you go too will should know that, I should not be more educated on hair color than the person I am paying to do my hair. Shame on her. After everything is done she tries to style my hair, in my opinion it was so that I couldn’t tell that the roots were very «hot» as in they did NOT match and flow with the rest of my hair; which I should have expected that from the beginning but it was too late. I then, unfortunately, proceeded to pay and she knew that I was pissed and she wouldn’t even tell me the price she just typed it in a calculator and showed me because she didn’t want me to make a scene because she had customers and the customer had already seen that I was PISSED. I really wish I hadn’t even paid but I was trying to be optimistic that it wasn’t horrible and I just wanted to get out of there because I had a photo shoot to go to later that day. As the day passed I really didn’t feel confident with what job she had done… my husband saw it and immediately was honest when I asked if my hair looked right? I started crying because I had a lot of photo shoots ahead of me that weekend and my big agency shoot for new comp cards. I knew I had to dish out more money to get it fixed! Of course I wouldn’t go to the same place that pulled, burned, and completely messed up my hair so I went to a salon that my agent suggested after she saw what they did to my hair. I ended up spending over $ 100 to just get it fixed and back to a normal color that wasn’t so inconsistent. I had no problem at this other salon, no burning scalp, no weird color differences, and absolutely no pain while I had my hair done; just like it should be when you pay for a service. I am a young recently married woman who is on a budget so I really couldn’t afford to spend almost $ 200 on my hair in 2 days… I was hopeful that the M Style salon would value their name and their customers and give me a fair refund for the pain and terrible hair service I had received. I called them after my hair had been fixed and wanted to speak with a manager, apparently the manager wasn’t there so they took my number and told me they would call tomorrow… (I somehow knew the woman on the phone wouldn’t relay the message) I gave her my number but told her I would call back tomorrow if I didn’t hear from them. Of course I hadn’t heard back so i called the following day asking to speak to a manager, I believe mary answered the phone. I asked to speak to the manger and she said the manager isn’t in. okay well when will the manager be in… she proceeded to have no solid answer. So I proceeded to talk to her and explain the situation since it seemed like their is no «manager» (although I believe she just didn’t want to deal with it and I would REALLY love to know who manages this «salon») I explained my issue and her only resolution would be that I just come back and she would fix it. I said no if you were listening I just told you I had to pay a professional to fix it because I didn’t trust going back to you guys after it was such a painful experience the first time and I really don’t have time to keep trying to have my hair come out normal. It shouldn’t be a trial and error, they should know how to do their job. She just kept saying the same thing and that their wasn’t nothing they could do; they don’t give refunds. Extremely dissatisfied and irritated with how they run their «salon» .Can not believe that they are unable to refund a $ 70 charge to a dissatisfied customer, pretty sad. Next step is to go to the BBB.

I went to see Mary after setting my appointment two days before my visit. Meeting her and her colleagues were not only welcoming and frankly really comical. After some laughs she knocked out the best cut I’ve ever had in my life. While being a «mature» male I needed some help getting rid of a little gray in my golden locks she was up to the task. I’ll be back for sure after reading and now posting this review is I’ve found my hairdresser!!!

Mary is awesome. First time I actually like a haircut it I get! She also cut my nieces hair and we all loved it. Nice and friendly service. Price is very reasonable.

I came last week to make hair cut and tech over here they do good job and price affordable. My hair look new stylely and I am happy with it. So I will come back again

This beauty salon is amazing. Not only is their staff friendly for walk-​ins or regulars. They know what you want and give you just that. Sunday’s they’re open which is awesome with my work schedule. Be sure to ask for Mary she does wonders on guys cuts. Totally a beauty salon for me!

I am new to the area and looked for hairstylist and there’s lots of choices! Miraculously I found this hair studio and Mary cut my hair. She did a great job, was a reasonable price, and my hair still looks good a month later! Going back again. I’m a little reluctant to put such a great review, because it is going to be harder to get an appointment with her. LOL!

Seriously it’s the closest and most reasonable price for very good service. Mary knows really well what she’s doing with my hair. I don’t need to worry about coming back to fix any wrong color or anything else. I’d highly recommend this to everyone. Make sure you call in to book appointment so you don’t have to wait. I’m happy with my color and cut and I come here every 2 – 3 months and never get disappointed.

Mary at M Style Salon is AMAZING! Today I went to TGF salon to get a quick haircut (just a bob) and the woman there totally messed up my hair. She tried three times to get it right and I ended up leaving feeling like horrible and like I wasted my money. She even accidentally shaved part of my hair off on the back of my neck. I was embarrassed. I went to M Style Salon and showed Mary what happened and she said she could try to fix it. Well, she did. And she did a perfect job. It’s exactly what I originally wanted. If you are trying to go to TGF or somewhere like it because the price is good, PLEASE DO NOT! You will be unhappy and you will end up paying more just to get your hair fixed! Go see Mary at M Style Salon (only $ 5 more) and get your hair cut how you like it! Don’t waste money going somewhere else. Trust me on this. You won’t be disappointed in her work.

My roots were so dark and it was growing out with faded colors. I needed to find a great colorist with fair prices. I found the salon while making errands in the same plaza. Of course I had to Unilocal,and it was mostly excellent reviews.
I scheduled my appointment with Mary (owner). She did an awesome job making my hair one cohesive color! All my coworkers complimented on it and I couldn’t be happier. I will definitely come back for my root touch ups. Also for my color and trim — $ 85! Can’t beat that for my hair length.

First time visited this place and I felt I got what I wanted in a haircut. Jenny was very friendly and attentive to what I had told her in what I was wanting and spot on without deviating from my desired look. I’ll be back for sure!

I absolutely love Mary at M Style Salon. She has cut and styled my hair twice and colored it once. She’s friendly and absolutely knows what she’s doing. She’s also EXTREMELY affordable which is important.

Mary gave an amazing haircut, and most importantly — focused on my needs!
She was very sweet, but down to earth, and made me feel at ease as soon as I came in.

I have longer hair, damaged from years of highlights and just wanted to freshen up my layers. Based on experiences with other hairdressers, I assumed my cut would be 5 minutes.
But Mary took the time to access the damage, and cut my layers in a way that gave my fine hair unprecedented volume and life! She spent a good 25 minutes just looking for the right parts to cut. She was very focused on my needs and I never felt rushed.
She also styled my hair with curlers and a mini blowout and gave me tips on how to achieve the volume I want on my limited schedule.
The whole experience was only $ 35, which is a bargain in my opinion! Will be back and recommend to everyone!

I came to the salon after failing at cutting my own hair. I have successfully cut my own hair at times but this was a failed attempt. I was very upset about it, but Michelle was able to keep the length of it, give it more shape and volume, and even helped me find some versatile ways to wear it! She was very attentive to what I was wanting in a haircut, and just very friendly overall. I swear to you, I almost cried because it was such a relief for her to not only fix what I had messed up, but exceeded my expectations. The price is definitely affordable, especially for the quality. I’ll definitely be coming back and I encourage anyone else to do the same!

Very happy with my haircut. New to the area, so I need a new place to cut my hair. Luckily, the first one I went to did a great job. Michelle cut my hair, I’ll definitely be returning back to her. I tried a new style for myself, showed Michelle a picture of somebody wearing a similar hairstyle, and the rest was up to her. Similar pricing to my previous visits to Sports Clips. Thanks Michelle!
