Nice mom and pop shop vibe here, I pop in here every once in arguing for there spicy chapel hill sausage kolache. The customer service aspect is always hit and miss when I go sometimes they greet and other times they stare at you until you order. The free sample of doughnut holes is pretty cool

this place is by far the best in greenspoint… I always get donuts and kolachies for my customers in that area. I place my large orders and they have it ready… highly recommend this place to anyone…5 stars…

Good place to grab a morning donut or koloche, and a decent place to get a burger and fries for lunch(cheap). They also have daily specials, burger and a bag of chips for under $ 4. They’ve recently updated their payment system to something more modern, making payment a little more seemless.

It’s a hole in the wall… how appropriate for a donut shop. But, do they run rings around the competition? Not significantly, for my tastes. However, it is convenient to the Hines row of office buildings, and has a tasty enough variety of donuts and Kolaches for return business and some catering. They also serve hot sandwich lunches, with daily specials. The traditional burgers and half-inch-thick fries are better than the Mall’s food court burgers, which are across the street and require a long walk over hot pavement. Not far away in the strip mall, Tiffany’s offers some competition in the sweet breads(croissants and Danishes) and sandwiches. The two places offer different enough items, though, that each seems to have its loyal fans. One big difference is that Lone Star is oriented to take-away, and thus only has just a couple of tables. The cinnamon twist is top notch. The donuts average.
