I love this place! It’s one of my favorite lunch go to spots. The Honey Dew smoothie and Chicken sandwich is my favorite. Everything is so fresh and not at all heavy.

O My G* the hazelnut w/tapioca gave Me life. Such a great way to cool down on a hot summer day in Houston! My nephew tried the strawberry kiwi smoothie which was also tasty but wasn’t My favorite«too sweet» $ 4 There’s fresh fruit displayed for drinks, baked cookies, and other goods when You approch the counter/register They offer food like calamari spicy chicken and fries too* Had the fries and They were decent for an afternoon snack $ 2 The décor is very sheek. Music playing in the background as the employees blend what seems to be most popular«strawberry banana» smoothies and everyone is very attentive offering help answering any questions about the menu I definitely recommend giving this gem a try and if You’re indeciecive as I am look at the menu ahead of time*

Place is down to earth and relaxing great place to meet and study. Employees are chill. I personally like the coconut taro smoothie(very sweet) and the frozen coffee mocha(hits the spot).

The workers are really laid back-in the best way possible. I was only there briefly but I could tell that I would enjoy coming here to study, chill, or to just have a drink. We had the Thai Tea and Honeydew smoothies with tapioca. They were both great! I’ll be back to try the honey dew tea and banh mi really soon

NEVERDISAPPOINT. sad that durian is a classic that isn’t offered anymore because of its lack of popularity but everything is just as good! sandwhichs don’t compare to other places in bellaire but try the popcorn chicken! it’s the besssssttt thing you’ll ever have. and get it spicy!

This is an ultra casual place without being a hole-the-wall or ultra-faux stylish as boba tea places tend to feel and be. It’s comparatively cleaner too. More importantly, I can easily have tea not too sickly sweet nor sobering in taste & texture. They are GREAT about my disdain of too much ice! Neither haughty nor punishing. The food is good here too! I was very surprised a tea house wouldn’t treat food as an afterthought or annoyance. The counter people are consistently good natured and no cultural misgivings for my Westernized upbringing. There even seems to be a Hispanic person manning various aspects of the counter, and I appreciate he seems treated equal. I notice those kinds of things! If employees are treated w respect, you know your food and drink is treated w respect. No hint of bad trickle down animosity(I-don’t-care-my-boss-sucks) here. My ex said his ever-bragging ex said that few places do their tapioca well. Apparently that was yet another made up opportunity for her to self tout. –I frequent this place so many times, and can attest that the tapioca and other ingredients never have me in a fetal position(as did the ones in NYC did, and of my young adult yrs in Houston). The wifi is consistent, the other patrons are of modest means, and the bathroom is clean. This boba place will continue to be a mainstay and go-to place; a reliable respite from the nightmarish ambiance of many other boba tea houses. Thank you, proprietors!

This place is owned by The Teahouse owner’s sister so I was excited to see it when I drove by. The space is quite large inside. The drinks are sweeter than what I’m used to. I like sweet but it tasted more like white sugar was added rather than the flavored syrup. I prefer the syrup taste. Customer service was good. I may return since it is closer to me than the other tapioca places.

Kim’s tea house has GREAT tapioca and food. Their drinks are always fresh, their staff is super friendly, and all their locations are great. If you are in the mood for a yummy sandwich, fresh drinks, or a place to study then Kim’s tea house is your place to visit! One thing I would recommend is to change their closing hours to at least midnight. This makes the perfect place to grab some tapioca and study away.

Lots of seating and spots to get some work done. Great iced coffee– haven’t tried anything else yet. Love the atmosphere EXCEPT that they keep the music ridiculously loud. Still giving it a 5 star review but the music really needs to be toned down. Very clean and lots of options for drinks. Would probably come here every other day to study if it weren’t for the music but the other aspects make up for the noise level. Not sure if they do this so ppl won’t stay here all day, but if that’s the case it’s pretty dumb because the place is never packed and most ppl like myself who would stay for extended times will be buying drinks/food throughout the time spent here.

I’m surprised I haven’t been here earlier, but I was craving tapioca and was already in the area. I ordered my usual at any tap place– a green milk tea with tapioca. The tea taste was just strong enough and not overpowered by the milk. And the drink was still creamy. I forgot to tell them to adjust to sugar level to make it less sweet, but it actually turned out perfectly and wasn’t too sweet/syrup-y. The tapioca is chewy and has a good honey coating. I really wanted to try their fruit smoothies since a lot of people there seemed to have ordered smoothies, so I’ll have to go back and try that next time!

My favorite drink is the green tea with cream and baby tapioca.(It’s a milk tea, by the way.) It is strikingly similar to The Teahouse’s version of that beverage. This is also my favorite place for popcorn chicken. I kind of like their taro milk tea as well.

Service was slow, despite the only other customer arriving after me. I ordered two drinks and a sandwich. They made the two drinks but forgot to even charge me for the sandwich. When I went and paid for the sandwich they did not prioritize my order at all despite my having been there first. They ignored me for so long I am certain they forgot me; my sandwich was not even begun until after the other order was complete and the cooks went in the back.

Stopped by on the recommendation of a friend. They have 3 locations in Houston with this one being quite large in size. I would say the atmosphere is very clean, modern, and hip. They keep their restrooms and the dining environment very clean and everything looks updated and sleek. The staff was about average in terms of service(not bad but not amazingly attentive either). I do like that they have a wide variety of food from fried calamari to popcorn chicken(Asian style) to French fries and Banh mi. In terms of quality the food was average but filling. I’ve had better Banh mi at Vietnam poblano(now known as roostar) a little bit up north but it is a good amount of food for the price and the drink portions come out pretty large as well. In terms of boba I would say they are on par with most tapioca places but nothing that sets them beyond the rest of the crowd. I had the honey green tea which was too sweet for my taste and the green tea latte smoothie which was excellent. Overall I would stop in again for the atmosphere and convenience. Definitely check them out if you’re in the area and looking for a quick lunch or aiming to quench your boba thirst.

This was a nice venue for tea, I enjoyed the fact that it was quite spacious. It was a little louder than usual for a tea house but I’m sure it’s because it’s quite popular. The staff wasn’t very friendly, honestly they kind of snubbed us off and they also didn’t get my order right. The tea was good, just not what I ordered. I hope to give this place another try and update my review.

They moved it! It used to be across the street where that target plaza is! It was waaaaay to small compared to the other locations! Now it’s perfect! Went in for their yummy popcorn chicken and fries!(I have major cravings for that stuff) not a big boba fan and I’ve never really tried their drinks. But I was willing to try somethings! I ended up getting a strawberry and kiwi slurpee lets just say this place is waaaay better and the food is always hot and fresh

I was very excited to find a place that serves«natural» smoothies at 9:45pm! Once arrived, the first question I asked the server was –Does the smoothies are made with fresh natural fruits?– she said yes! Well I ordered a strawberry banana smoothie— and this is what I got! — 3 unknown syrups — black tiny balls with syrup as well! — processed strawberries with syrup as well! See the picture! Not a good experience…

I have heard all good things about this tea house and wanted to give it a try. It’s pretty good and I will be returning. It’s the same tea house that is located in the HK city mall. There are other great boba places along bellaire, but for where this is at, I will say it’s good! It has the regular menu for tea milk tea, slushies, and other drinks. You can order your taro, thai tea, milk tea, and other teas here. I will say the boba is average. I do like how wide open the space is here. I also saw there were cookies up front. It looks like they’re freshly baked, but a bit pricey. It’s a great place to stop in for a quick refreshing drink if you’re around the westheimer area.

There is 180 reasons to like them with all of their amazing flavors. The banana is perfect and this new terro stuff packs a great punch of flavor. Inside is super clean, plenty of seating with fun, friendly and quick staff.

Kim’s is one of the better tea houses I’ve been to(I’ve probably been to 6 or so in Houston). They just moved into their new building earlier this year, but are still sort of hard to see from the main road. Plus, they are also competing with Snowflake Café & Bakery right across the street(which I really want to try soon!) The service here is off and on with being good or not. They make their drinks here extra sweet and one time I asked for ½ sugar and got full sugar taste. I asked them to remake it and instead of making a whole new drink the guy serving me peeled off my plastic wrap and just dumped ½ of my drink out, then filled it with some unsweetened tea and resealed it – not sanitary if you ask me. Their tea house has a modern feel to it with lots of seating, but not very home-y feel like I quite enjoy at other tea houses like The Teahouse of Shepherd/Westheimer. Overall, their drinks are typically fresh and not artificially tasting. They seem to be clean(minus the incident I had one time listed above) and they get things right most of the time.

I like to come here from Bellaire since it’s conveniently on my way home if I decide to take the local roads. Their new location is a lot nicer and bigger compared to their old place. Ample amount of tables and sofas to study or lounge. The service is fast and friendly. Their drinks always satisfy my tapioca cravings. They have a huge variety of drinks that you can choose from and if not fits your taste, you can always ask for a custom drink(that’s reasonable) made. They also have a food menu. I like their chicken nuggets made spicy! Spicy is spicyyy!

This new location is much bigger than their old one across the street! Went today with my siblings and got ourselves an array of goodies. Food and drinks were pretty good and the inside has a plenty of seating for lounging. This is the best you will find in this area. Squid balls — 4⁄5 Sweet Potato Fries — 3⁄5 Popcorn Chicken — 4⁄5 BBQ Pork Banh Mi — 4⁄5

I’ve always turned to Kim’s for consistent milk teas. For some reason today, it tasted a little different… not sure in a good way/bad way… but it just didn’t taste like the regular milk tea. Prices are still the same… I do like that the space is much more spacious than the old location. In a way I think the old location was more convenient for me to get to, but hey, ya gotta do what ya gotta do!

I’m glad they move closer to a new location much closer to my house in Westchase area. The new location is bigger than before, which was just across the street from the last one. Plenty of bubble tea choices. I love their spicy popcorn chicken, can’t get enough of it. I also like their veggie vietnamese sandwhich.

I’ve been anxiously awaiting the grand opening of the new Westchase location, and I’m SO happy they’re finally open. It was a rough couple weeks.months.(I don’t know, it felt like years) without my weekly Kim’s Tea House fix. The new location is in a huge plaza with plenty of parking, and the interior is well decorated and much more spacious than their previous location. I like the vibe here. The drinks are still as delicious as always, and they honestly have some of the best boba I’ve ever had — flavorful and perfect consistency. I love my tapioca green tea with cream, blended. And the frozen vanilla cappuccino. My boyfriend swears on the mango or honeydew smoothies. I’ve never been disappointed with my drinks here, so it’s definitely not a gamble to try anything new! No matter how packed it is, the wait for your drink is never too long. The service is fast and efficient. Don’t know what it is about Kim’s Tea Houses and the girls that work there, but I never seem to be on their good side. They don’t smile at me, mumble when I ask them a question, and it’s almost intimidating and uninviting. Regardless though, this is one of my favorite tapioca spots! I’ve already been here several times and plan on coming back many more times.

I’m so glad they moved locations. Across Westheimer now, next to the Office Depot, they share the whole parking lot, so no more crossing your fingers, hoping to find a spot. The new Kim’s Teahouse is much much bigger. It’s spacious with a cozy feel. Tables and chairs line the perimeter, with the counter straight in the back. The layout reminds me of their Bellaire location, but much bigger. They’re in their grand opening now, offering every drink at ½ off! Drinks are still yummy! I can never decide between a Thai Tea, Honey Black Tea or Honey Green Tea! Service is still great, quick and pleasant :) This is definitely gonna be a good place to study. I’m expecting it to be hustlin’ and bustlin’ real soon!

Yay for this new location! I love Kim’s Teahouse, but I can’t frequent this place much because I live too far. The service is quick here, even though it’s busy. The employees know what they’re doing. Plenty of parking because this place is in a big shopping strip. The place itself is large. There are plenty of big and small tables to sit at for those that come in a group or solo to study. There are sofas too. I love the durian smoothie because it’s not too sweet, and fresh fruit is used! Their tapioca is always cooked to perfection as well. If you’re not a fan of durian, like many people out there, they have a large menu! Over 100 different drinks with smoothies, slushies, teas, and club sodas. Prices are very reasonable and not over the top like some places in chinatown. They have food as well, which is a plus! They sell Vietnamese sandwiches, chicken nuggets, fried squid balls, calamari and a couple other things. All are very reasonably priced!
