Brisket on Saturday is out of this world. Service good, prices fairly cheap for the area.

I have stopped in a few times and have to rate my experience as an average of three stars. I was impressed with one person, maybe a male manager, but the overall staff sucks.
The first time I went in, the guy working the bar was nice, offered us a few free appetizers which was nice. His drinks were ok, but not great.
The second time I went in I ordered a dirty martini and got something I could not drink. I was going to mention it to the female bartender, but I left a full drink on the bar because it took her so long to come back and check on me.
The last time we went in, another female bartender made me a mediocre dirty martini, but the rest of her drinks were ok. We ordered food from a local resturant and the male Manger previously mentioned brought us plates and disposable flatware. That was a great customer service move, but I still can’t adjust my stars any higher because of the lack of training of other bartenders.

I walked Into this establishment and was ready to spend some money. Instead was asked to leave by the owner and refused to say his name all because one of their employees disliked me. I had no idea this individual was even working there and didn’t exchange words. The lack of professionalism is shocking and later he came up and apologized for the situation yet still asked me to leave after I finished my drink. I work in the industry and have never been treated this way for just simply minding my own business.

Ehhhhh. I’ve driven by this place a few times, so my friends and I decided to stop by before the rockets game. I got there first, and no one took my order. There were only 3 other guys at the bar with there drinks already. The manager finally realized his bartender didn’t get my drink, so he got my order. I paid with cash, and the bartender shorted me my change. Anywho, we ordered ribs, and they were ok. They didn’t have enough flavor. It’s an okay place.

Great looking bar but an apparently modge-​podged staff. Good beer selection but on the higher end of price range. Wife and I were told that half-​priced drinks with Astros tickets do not start until after the game– then 10 minutes later a man walked in and ordered the same beer from the same bartender for half the price we paid before the game was over. Bar could be great but the staff holds it back.

We stumbled upon this place looking for a place to watch the LSU game. Even though UT was playing, they changed a couple of tv’s for us. The server was great. I forgot her game. I would definitely come back for drinks and possibly food.

pre-​games for Dynamo. drinks are reasonable priced. Nice atmosphere setting is upscale and very clean and neat. Limited food menu during the games. but the brisket tacos were fantastic. not very crowded especially considering Woodrose is next door and shoulder to shoulder. Great local beers and nice mixed drinks.

Great atmosphere! A bit more upscale than Mojeaux’s, which used to be in this location. They’ve extended the bar, cut out the food, removed the separation to the side room, and added some non — alcoholic Aguas frescas to the menu.
They haven’t had their grand opening yet, but the bar staff seemed overwhelmed with a post Dynamo game crowd. It’s probably just a learning curve that will get adjusted with time.
They overcharged me for a couple of drinks, but when I brought it to the bartender’s attention she quickly fixed it. Seemed like an honest mistake.
