Denny’s

Ok so it’s Denny’s… I honestly wouldn’t have written a review if it wasn’t for the fact that the staff here at this location was so over and beyond friendly… It’s not often that you get great customer service at a place like this but they really have their stuff together. Food was what you’d expect but came out very quickly and everyone was smiling! I came in with 6 kids and they didn’t let that intimidate them, as a matter of fact they brought free ice cream… Nice! Thanks Denny’s!

I have been to a lot of Denny’s location in the US. Lately my son has been addicted to their Rudolph reindeer pancakes, so when I ask them where they want to eat for breakfast, they sometimes say Denny’s.
The food is not too bad. I know it’s not the healthiest place to eat breakfast, but its still pretty good. The price is reasonable for the amount of food you get.
Now the bad part. The service is slow, very very slow. I have been there when they are not crowded, and its still slow. Its not like they are lacking in the amount of staff, I see a lot of them near the register chit-​chatting. I have also seen them stare at me or other customers when we/​I am trying to get their attention, but they just usually ignore it and go back to chit chatting…
Food is a 4, but service is a 2 at best.

I’ve always liked Denny’s food but the problem is the service here at this location. We came in for dinner (for breakfast I’ve never had this problem) we got sat and got our drinks taken. After 5 minutes we got our drinks. We then waited 15 minutes to see if anyone would take our order after several waitresses passed by. 5 more minutes passed. It was not busy and we got up and left. We told the manager what happened and he just said ok. Well ok never coming back again…

Denny’s is great for the location and service– right off the highway they offer clean atmosphere and great customer service. The food is hot and ready to order. Rather than spending your money at the Wendys across the street, I suggest you visit this Dennys and order a sandwich for lunch.

Don’t get me wrong, the food is pretty good but what brought all the stars down is their dumb incompetent staff!
Very super slow service. The waitresses get lost every five minutes. They forget about their customers and always seem to having a little meeting between chit chatting while their customers wait on them pffft

I have to say this location is by all means one I’d return to when in the mood for Denny’s. Service is good but the food is better! Of all Denny’s locations, this location is by far one of the better ones. My rating is 4 ½ stars out of 5. Be sure to try the nachos!

OmGee! I’ve been here 2 days in a row. And, both times, I received EXCELLENT SERVICE! The guy who took my order, David, was very friendly. He was helpful, and greeted me with a smile. The place was clean & neat. David went out of his way to make sure that I was taken care of… if you are ever in the area please come to this Denny’s!

Horrible service. We sat for 20 minutes before I had to go and find the manager to take drink request and order. Then the waitress closed out our tab accidentally and did our receipt by hand — the same waitress that was standing at the front talking with her friend while the manager was taking our order. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

The food is always delicious and reasonably priced. And the waitstaff is friendly. The only downside is it usually takes a while to receive the food. Even when it’s empty.

I have been a few times in the past couple months and the service was good. However, today I received the worst service and complained to the manager with no resolve. I came in and was seated and had my drink order taken– the server said he would get my waitress. He then came back and took my order himself. Then for half and hour no one acknowledged I was there. I was about to drop a few bucks on the table and leave when a waitress finally brought my food. She said nothing even when I said” I was about to leave, it took so long.” Looked at my empty drink and said nothing. I flagged down the manager and got a drink refill. I told him no one was waiting on me and it took half and hour for my food. He just «oh sorry miss.» Then the original waiter came out and apologized (he had been hanging out in the kitchen the whole time). I then had to flag down ANOTHER server for my check. I told the girl at the check out «I don’t think I actually had a server.» And she got snotty and said «oh, you just don’t know who it was.» To which I replied, no I was ignored for half and hour, no one actually waited on me.” She said nothing. Manager didn’t comp or make amends, nothing. For the first time in my entire life, I left no tip. Why would I? I had no server/​service. In this time, there were at least 10 servers on staff, 5 – 6 at the counter just talking and one that spent the entire time filling stations at tables. Why didn’t one of them wait on me– I would have tipped them! Just awful service/​lack of organization and no resolve. I won’t be back.

It’s Denny’s y’all…Cheap food and home of the Grand Slam. I do breakfast here every now and again and this location is always clean with a consistent offering of good tasting food. Servers are helpful and friendly. Its a chain, but hey; it does in a pinch.

My fiancé loves to eat at Denny’s and whenever we travel South we always visit one. Well this was our worst experience ever. The place was clean and we were seated fast enough and our food even came quickly. Now the problems. I don’t know if they pride themselves on memorizing the orders but I would rather you have a pen and pad and I get the right food. Another was that my grits were luke warm, so much so that the cheese on top didn’t melt. Anyone who loves grits knows that cold grits are a no go. the last thing is my fiancé’s food ended up in his lap. the waiter spilled his glass of water and then the food followed. It was annoying but he apologized. The manger finally came over after several minutes and offered a curt apology and didn’t not offer to comp him in any way? How about you offer him a free plate of food since you’re not footing the cleaning bill!!! We were late for our appointment as well since we had to wait for a new plate of food to come. Very poor and unprofessional service.

Shhhhh! This location has got to be the best kept secret in the area. I eat here occasionally and have been impressed with each visit.
The manager is attentive and friendly. The staff are all on the ball as well. Little things like smiles make a big difference.
The big secret is the burgers. Have you eaten a Denny’s burger? OMG! That’s my favorite item on the menu.
One last very important detail, it is clean. I saw three people inspecting tables and floors. I love that!

Outstanding service! Lots of Spanish speaking waiters and waitresses! Which is great for us Hispanics that don’t speak English! They always have a smile on their face and treat you respectfully! They are very attentive and come at the right time to your table to ask if everything is ok, if you need a refill’s etc! I’m very pleased!

Everything was super clean. And I was attended too promptly. The staff is well organized and very polite to the customers.

The staff was excellent. We stopped by for a Sunday breakfast. Our waiter was so entertaining and prompt with our order. Our meal was just as we had ordered it. Friendly people. Best service at a Denny’s so far. Food was perfect!
