You would think that a fast food joint that does breakfast every single day would be prepared for customers… But once again like always there is a 10 minute wait on the most popular item biscuits … How does it take 10 minutes to make biscuits ??? Not only that but the employees get an attitude when you say, «yes I’ll wait». Looks like management needs to step up or they need to replace current manager.

The food… In a word… BLECHT! No taste, just greasy and gros. Pretty much summed up the whole experience. The facility looked ok, but everything was sticky and the men’s room disgusting. Never again.

I am a carls jr fan and like their selection of burgers and other menu items which is very good for a fast food burger place however this location is the worst in houston. My experience with this location is all over the places but ultimately its unsatisfactory and needs better management to produce better and more consistent results. I have recommended this place to a few coworkers and they have had the same inconsistent and sub par experiences. I hope they improve as they are one of the few local options but that alone wont save them and that will also change in the near future.

Not the greatest burger especially for the price. It was not fresh it was lukewarm and they put twice slices of cheese which took away from the other flavors. Maybe if the burger was fresh it would have been good, I git the western burger.

My family always likes to give places second & third chances. But we’ve given this place about 10. It gets worse each time. When this location first opened it was actually pretty great, but quickly went downhill. They’re always way understaffed & the staff that is there isn’t trained properly. Orders are always screwed up. Food is always cold. I can be the only person in the restaurant & it’ll take 20 minutes to get my food, then another 20 minutes because they have to fix my order. I know many people that have gotten sick from this location. It’s just a matter of time until this place is shut down, & I cannot wait until that happens. Hopefully then they’d put in a restaurant that’s actually successfully ran. Until then, this carls jr is simply a waste of space.

I recently moved from nyc to Houston, and having never been to a Carl’s, I thought I’d give it a try… big mistake. Not only was the food lukewarm, it tasted just terrible. On top of that, the fries were soggy and the drink fountain dilapidated and gross looking. Just as the final straw, I had a wicked stomach ache later that night. Maybe this is just the worst location of all Carl’s, but it was so bad I’m not in a hurry to ever go to another again. Steer clear.

Even though I have three of these chains near me, I had never gone to one. But in Summerwood, there is just not a lot of places to eat out at. In my month stay in Summerwood, I ate here twice. They have fried zucchini sticks. Dipped in ranch they are yum! The Waffle cut fries were good as well. That was about all I could eat here as they don’t seem to offer vegetarian options. Most fast food places don’t. The service was great. When they weren’t super busy they would talk to me and joke. :)

The food is awesome the idea is great. But terrible costumer service and the drive thru is the worst 20++ minutes to just order your food add another 15 to get your food. Like what’s the point of drive thru if it takes this long?

NOT a five star place. We were all so hopeful when fast food came to Summerwood — and we have been let down. I have found hair in my fries, chemical taste on burgers and been served cold or stale food overall. And the service is rude, blunt, mumbling people just there to do the minimum of there job. I am shocked to see so many 5 star reviews. Be very wary of that. First, it’s fast food — it would have to be rocking awesome to get five stars and I have never had a 3 or 4 star experience here — and i have given it many chances. But no more. Continuing to drive to Atascocita or Fall Creek for decent fast food.

TERRIBLE. TERRIBLE. TERRIBLE. Going through the reviews, I am 99.9% sure that an employee or supervisor is writing their own reviews. There is no way that this place can have more than one star. It has nothing to do with the food the problem mainly lies with the service. Plain and simple: the service is terrible. The location is very convenient which is the only reason I have been more than once.
The first time I went to this place. The drive-​thru line was pretty long and moving pretty slow. Initially I didn’t pay any mind, until I pulled up to the speaker. As I was trying to give my order I was repeatedly interrupted and once I finished I had to repeat my order a few more times (the order was VERY simple). I was shocked with the lack of professionalism as I was interrupted with «HUH?» «WHAT YOU SAID YOU WANT A COKE?». Frustrated, I pulled up to the window to pay and receive my order. Only to find out that my DRINK was wrong along with my order! As I glance inside the restaurant, I noticed there was nothing but a bunch of high school kids working, just goofing off. When I ask the lady what time did they close, she replied, «I don’t know.» They finally fixed my order. Every time I have been after that (2 at the MOST) it has been the same lack of active listening, inattentive, rude, unprofessional employees messing up orders and wasting everyone’s damn time! Please do not go here.

First time here, good food… excellent customer service. Especially an employee named Angela, she was so cheerful! I likey!!!

Today my luck ran out. After four batches of biscuits in almost as many weeks, I got a bad batch. Yep, the tops were golden brown and crunchy.

This is vip night they are offering samples of the menu and everything I have tried thus far is very good. Especially the teriyaki burger.
