Pretty typical burger/chicken finger place. Service is not quite average. There is nothing particularly good or bad about the food. Though they do have oysters: fresh, fried, and baked. Peanutbutter pie is a good dessert choice.

This place is great if you love old school wings. If you are looking for those fancy wings with all those different flavors this is not the place for you. The wings taste like wings did back in the early 90s when they first came out. Really a place with cool service, cool atmosphere and great wings.

Good food. Slow on drink refills despite being in constant sight. Big burgers… Smallish sides, which is sad when you have to pay an extra $ 1.75 for onion rings to replace fries. But all delicious nonetheless. Try the ultimate cheese fries. It can seriously be a meal by itself, even when split between 2⁄3 people!

The double dipped wings with hot sauce on the side could be my favorite wings. The wings themselves are delicious. The service is severly lacking!!! I’ve been to the original Jefferson’s in Jacksonville, AL and that is the standard of a divey wing place with a cool atmosphere and a friendly staff. This place is bigger, newer, and appears cleaner than the original but the service is not good. I’ve never had a good experience with the wait staff. I’ve come back numerous times and will continue to come back for the wings… But I’ve also had to leave without my wings on more than one occasion due to the wait staff. They’ve lost multiple orders, and been extremely slow regardless of being busy or not… The fact that I’ve had multiple bad experiences with the service is actually a poor reflection on managment and how they run this establishment. I really wish they would get it together. I love the wings, but my family and friends are increasingly more vocal about not wanting to go here anymore.

Ate at this establishment last night. HORRIBLE. Ordered the oyster«basket» and was given SEVENOYSTERS! Had to track down my server for everything. I told the manager about this and he said it should have come with ONEMOREOYSTER. He claimed they have select seafood. Select seafood when you’re 4 hours away from the nearest coast? An oyster«basket» with 8 or 9OYSTERSFOR13 bucks? Please. Give me a break, guy. I grew up in gulf shores. They don’t even charge that much. My boyfriends chicken wrap was a kid’s sized portion to say the least, he was up charged for getting a flavor on the chicken,(said there was no charge on the menu, I got charged for LIMES in my drink!!! 50 cents a pop! Called the manager when I got home and really processed what happened. He said he could have helped had I complained while I was there he was very rude and defensive and talking over me about my experience. I’m sorry I didn’t want to cause a scene on date night. Cockiest, most pompous dude I’ve come across in a long time. I was offended. He said that he could refund me my 1.00 for the limes(he said the server messed up bad on our up charges), but could do nothing else. This guy clearly doesn’t care about business. Save your money and go somewhere else where they actually want to give you food.

6 of us guys met at Jeffersons last night for a little food and drink to celebrate a 50th birthday. None of us had ever been there before and the birthday boy decided he wanted to try it out. I had never heard of Jeffersons and looked it up prior to see what the Unilocalers had to say. Lots of poor ratings and details of unhappy customers. I’m certain under any other circumstances just based on the Unilocaler reviews that I wouldn’t gone under other circumstances. Regardless I went in with an open mind hoping for a surprise and good timing. I got neither. Upon arrival I was really shocked with the lack of beer selections from a Sports bar, especially one that’s somewhat new to the area. No High Gravity beers? I think they only had one local brew beer? Maybe I’m crazy, but I thought that’s what people go to sports bars for, good beer selections and good bar food. Jeffersons had neither. We decided to sit outside since the regular tabes for six was really tight and not very comfortable inside and were pushed way too close to other tables. We soon discovered that the outdoor furniture is completely ridiculous. I didn’t even know they made furniture this cheap. It was very thin plastic and we all looked at each other as soon as we sat down thinking we may all hit the ground. I moved a table together with another to fit everyone and a legs fell off. I lite wind or a nudge would knock over your drinks over on the cheap tables. The server(Tiniqua or something like that)…is obviously very green but nice brings us the world famous Jefferson nachos and wings. The nachos were the quality that you would expect at a elementry or middle school baseball park concession stand. The wings that I had were cooked perfectly but we’re very plan. I think she said they were called«double dipped». That must mean double fried, cause they had no sauce or batter. There was no sauce brought with the wings, none on the table, not even any salt & pepper for that matter.(I guess the cheap table thing) The server didn’t explain the method of how to best order wings or the way the kitchen preparation until we had them on the table eating them. She did finally bring me some hot sauce as I was nearing the end of my wings. The sauce tasted like Pete’s, Bull Sauce or Louisiana hot sauce that was poured out into a cheap plastic disposable container. The wings & nachos are not something that I would ever recommend unless you prefer non-sauced plan wings and very plain nachos. Maybe a place to take old people and small children(very bland). Before we could consume this culinary extravaganza the staff starts racing to close up the place and started turning off lights above our table and hauling the cheap furniture around us inside. I guess paying customers were in there way of closing around 9:30. I suppose the staff wanted to get out of there too early enough to go somewhere fun. And they would want anything to happen to this plastic furniture? We paid and got out of there way. We all left hungry, without plans of ever returning. I had(5) wings and a sampling of nachos someone else ordered that no one wanted,(2) Stella’s,(2) Dewars and picked up a check for the birthday boy that had(10) wings and(3) Dewars together that came to $ 110.00 before tip. Whatever? The folks that manage Jeffersons really needs to go to places like On Tap or The Ridge and see how a manage a sports bar with good brews, tasty wings and excellent nachos and do a restart before it’s too late.

I’m in town for the weekend, so I have to check out the local faves. My sistergirl is on an onion ring kick(she’s in her 7th month of pregnancy), and she raves about the onion rings here. She couldn’t have been more correct! These perfectly fried vidalia onions were battered in a sweet beer coating! I also ordered the chicken Caesar salad(trying to balance that caloric intake with a little ruffage), but I had them toss the chicken in their cajun seasoning, and trust me, I made an excellent choice! The salad was fresh and crisp, and they actually took the time to give you only the leaf part of the romaine and not the stem. The chicken was juicy and lean(nothing worse than chicken fat when you’re enjoying a salad). The service was also friendly and prompt. I didn’t get a chance to check out the restroom(my regular readers know how I can be about that part of the dining experience), but I can’t say anything negative about my Jefferson’s experience!

If I could give this bar zero stars I would. We came on a Friday evening and the place was DEAD. To start we ordered a dozen oysters which took half an hour to arrive at our table(how!?). Once they finally made it to our table the oysters were discolored, NOTONICE!!!(Literally sitting in a pool of barely below room temp water, and they had a strange smell so we sent them back obviously. After sending back the oysters i had to wait an additional half hour for ten wings. Which at this point I did not even want. So now we have been waiting a full hour. Now I’m asking to speak with management. The manager was completely dismissive and passive aggressive towards us so we left with no food and an hour wasted. Two thumbs way down. And the cherry on top FILTHYBATHROOMS with no paper towels!!!

Fried oysters and shrimp were good but the hush puppies were not. Lots of extra charges for refills and sauces. Very cold in inside but the service was nice. Got wings as well, worst I have ever had. Way too over done.

Dropping my review a notch. Quality has gone down, some items dropped from the menu(BLT), and hours are irregular(the door clearly says they close at 9:00, but when I walked in at 8:38 tonight I was told they were closed). Jeffersons needs to step up their game to where they were a year or two ago if they want to keep their doors open!

Awesome food. Great staff. Need I say more? Yes! Just tried Jefferson’s for first time. Best wings of any I have had in town. Beats the big name places with their homemade and fresh sauces and food. Just found our new hangout!

We eat there about once a month. My wife like the wings, to me they are ok. I am trying different menu items each time to keep me happy while the family eats the wings.

Extremely helpful staff and great, relaxed environment. The fried pickles are among the best I’ve had and the wings are crisply fried(no breading). The Turbo wing sauce is cumulatively volcanic… lip-numbing, sinus-clearing heat. Good flavor, but very hot. The only down side on this visit was the fried foods weren’t properly drained and a lot of oil was pooled on the parchment. The server indicated there were new chefs training, but all in all a good meal.

Nothing overly special about the food, but it was good and fast. The atmosphere has a sports bar feel with the full bar and multiple large tvs, but it is the kind of place you would still be very comfortable bringing a family. There were multiple children eating with their parents, which did not seem out of place at all. If you are in the hwy 31, Valleydale road area and want a place to watch the game with your family while eating some ballgame food, this would be a good choice!

The service at Jeffersons is very good. The atmosphere and the menu looked pretty good too. When it comes down to the food though its awful. We ordered a Jeffersons Burger, Chicken Fingers, Grilled Chicken Fingers and Cheese Sticks. The burger looked fine. The table next to us sent all if there burgers back right before ours came. Now I know why. It was very dry and had an awful taste. You can go to the Hardee’s across the street for a better burger. You could tell the chicken fingers were frozen. The grilled chicken fingers looked and tasted like they came out of a lean cuisine meal. And the Cheese Sticks looked frozen like everything else. If you want some good food just go right down the road to Ragtime Café. There is nothing great about Jeffersons. I will never be back.

This place is NOT good. The appetizers are not good, and the wings are only average, but overpriced. The oysters are awful. They have messed up our take out order twice, and the last time we went there we waited over 10 minutes at our table and were never even approached by a waitress. The manager is a jerk. Avoid this place at all costs, and go somewhere else. I don’t like posting bad reviews, but this place deserves it.

This place was great when it first opened but the service and food quality have really gone down hill. The wings were burned and our waitress ignored us during our last two visits. We won’t be back.
