Previous called Hyatt Farmers Market. I’m not sure why they decided to change their name(HFM is now listed as closed on Unilocal) The new name lack originality and it’s too nondescript. Anyhoo, majority of the vendors sells fresh fruits(watermelons, pineapples, dragon fruits, strawberries, coconuts etc) There are other vendors that offers local delights like specialty breads, peanut butter, macadamia nuts, etc. I would say 95% of the booths are food related and most offer free samples. I wouldn’t say the prices here are cheap, but it is relatively affordable.

The best kept secret and I want it all to myself! Twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays. There’s sooo many good things here. The vendors are super-friendly and give generous samples. The prices for plate lunches are so super cheap too. No need a tour bus or car rental to try some Hawaiian delights. Green tea matcha waffle mix? Sold. Mixes for kulolo and haupia. Hawaiian coffee. Hawaiian honey for my frequent heartburn? Gimme a case! The local coffee, sugar cane juice, egg rolls, kalua pig? There’s lots of nooks and crannies to sit in this area to feast and people watch. Just like anywhere else when you travel, ALWAYS be aware of your belongings, purses and wallets cause lots of people pass through here. Never let your guard down during vacations and dress DOWN, not fancy. Exotic fruits like passion fruits, dragonfruits, pineapple, guavas, avocados, watermelon… no excuse NOT to get your fruit intake! Bring cash and small bills for easy transactions!

This farmers market is located in the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Hotel right across of Billabong and where Swatch is. They have the Farmers market on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5−8pm. They have a good variety of vendors that show up that sell fruits and vegetable, Hawaiian food, Baked goods, Honey, Peanutbutter, and all types of stuff. I was actually surprised when I walked through. Super stoked because I just started working in the Hyatt.
