I came into Vim N Vigor for fresh bee pollen. My husbands allergist told him to slowly take bee pollen since he is allergic to all plants, flowers and trees so he can slowly build a tolerance to his allergens. I found Hawaiian local bee pollen at this place. We tried other health food stores but they only have it in capsules. The employees here are very nice and showed me around their store. I will definitely go back here to get all my health food needs and especially fresh local bee pollen.

Their wraps are awesome, large, filling, healthy and super yummy! Love their smoothies too and just browsing through all their natural/organic products that they have in the store! My go-to lunch spot to have a healthy meal that will give you energy for the rest of your day!

I love this place. I came here when I had ear infection and Fudge was very knowledgeable and helpful. She really knows her products! I love anything clean, green, organic especially the essential oils which she carry a big selection of. Made to order smoothies and sandwiches, frozen products, hygiene stuff and much more. you just gotta come and check it out. Every one here is helpful and friendly.

You wouldn’t even know this was a café at first glance! It looks like a health store with supplements and natural products. After reading reviews and wanting something healthy for lunch, I went in to Vin and Vigor and ordered a turkey wrap right at the cashier counter. The staff was super friendly. The wrap was amazing! Very flavorful and delicious. Ask for avocado! It comes with a lot of sauce, very delicious but ends up dripping out. I would ask for the sauce on the side next time. Beware: there are beets in the wraps. This definitely took me as a surprise but a pleasant one as the flavor was a nice complement to the wrap. All in all, 5 stars for flavor and price. 7 dollars for a turkey sandwich in a spinach wrap.

I have worked across the street from the mall for many years and this is, by far, my go-to lunch place. Being a vegetarian, it’s frequently hard to find an adequate selection of meal options at any particular restaurant/store. Sure, I could trek it to the food court and peruse the many over-priced, unoriginal fast food options. But more often than not I was left less than satisfied. Not so at this excellent little shop! PLENTY of veggie choices, all good healthy food. The staff that work here are all very attentive and knowledgeable. I admit, if you don’t call in your order ahead of time, you can be waiting for a few minutes during the lunchtime hours. But honestly, for $ 5.75, I can get a delicious and delightful veggie wrap that fills me up and doesn’t make me feel like I’ve consuming something terrible. Or awesome sandwiches, soups, salads. Lots of choices. My meat-eating coworkers also like this place for the fact that you get good quality foods for a decent price. Far better than your other options of McDonalds or St. Germaine on that strip. All I’m saying is, try it. Maybe the healthy, veg-style foods aren’t for everyone but I feel like 90% of those who try it won’t be disappointed. I give it 5 stars myself.

Nice ladies, kinda reminds me of my Filipino aunties. Ria recommended the macacao smoothie for a energy boost. Pretty tasty. Will go back and try the rest of the smoothies.

Ala Moana really lucked out with Vim n Vigor being one of the few(if not only) health food vegetarian/vegan stores as it’s resident for all these years. I love coming here to pick up Kombucha teas, any health supplements I may need, and obviously the great tasting food from the deli bar for lunch. I’ve gotten the Pitaya smoothie, Chicken Curry Salad wrap, Greek salad, Spirulina faux musubi, and my personal favorite the Creamy Mushroom & Broccoli soup. Their food is really delicious, healthy, and keeps me satisfied. I’m not sure if they have a rewards/punch card, but I think that would be a great plus for their usual lunch crowd! They also do phone orders so you can call ahead of time and won’t have to wait long when you get there to pick-up. Their prices are equivalent to Down to Earth’s(maybe a little more?), and they carry everything from food, beauty, clothes, essential oils, and nutritional supplements. The staff is very helpful if you need to ask them questions about a product or are looking for something in particular. Parking is also easy because it’s at Ala Moana. I’m glad i work nearby so I can take advantage of finding healthy lunch here when I don’t pack my own. :)

ive only bought food from their deli, which is delicious!!! seems like they have a great but small selection of natural products. I haven’t really had time to shop around but if theres anything I need I will prob run over to their shop than bike across town to down to earth! some of my favorite foods from the deli: –Mediterranean salad –lentil soup –chicken burrito –chicken adobo plate –tuna salad wrap/sandwich –chicken salad wrap/sandwich –curry chicken wrap –turkey pastrami wrap also all the goodies they keep around the counter… protein bars, vegan cookies, licorice, veggie straws, etc!

Well I went here for the first time to grab some lunch on my break, seemed like a pretty nice store, I didn’t have much time to look around. I ordered a bean burrito without cheese because I’m a vegan, but when I got back to my work, I realized they didn’t even put beans on my burrito, so instead I got a lettuce and rice wrap it seems. I would have gone back to complain in person but I did not have time. I’m sure if my order was completed correctly it would have been fine though.

Since Foodland next door closed down(boooo!) I needed a place to get reasonably priced vegan lunch. Before going vegan, I hadn’t stepped foot into this place, but it’s AWESOME! I think their main focus is «healthy products» not necessarily«cruelty free» but I am definitely not complaining because I have always been able to find something to satisfy my limited diet at this place. I mostly buy from the deli where they have a bunch of different protein options which can be used in salads, sandwiches or wraps. The sandwich I got(vigor patty on vegan bread) was STUFFED to capacity with veggies… almost too much! It got a little messy because the bread was too manini to hold all of the veggie awesomeness which compiled the sandwich. In all, this is a great, unexpected failsafe vegan option in Ala Moana and I will continue to come here on my lunchbreaks when I forget to pack lunch!

When I worked at Nordstrom in the Ala Moana Shopping Center this become one of my go to places for a little healthier lunch. They have some delicious soups and wraps, as well as a mini grocery store area with quite a large variety of big brand name organic/natural food products. The staff are also extremely friendly and welcoming! Miss coming here already.

this review is strictly for the service… the old lady was talking to someone else while she was checking out my item, didn’t even greet me, didn’t care enough to say thank you … where is the basics? she was rude and needs to change her attitude. this wasn’t even the first time that this had happened.

I’ve been a mall rat for years now, but I just started coming here for quick lunches and .love. Quick lunches used to mean running to the food court(barf) or grabbing something from the ABC Store. Glad I have a healthier and tastier alternative! I’ve only tried their wraps and they are delicious! They are piled high with fresh veggies and I always opt for the spinach tortilla because its green, and eating green things makes me fell healthier. Like eating green tea ice cream for example. it’s loaded with green tea antioxidants… right? I tried their broccoli mushroom soup and it was okay. It tasted like it had been sitting in a warmer for a day or three. I’ll stick with their wraps =)

Like most places that have vegan offerings, I like the boca burger wrap with side of italian dressing. So much FRESHVEGGIES!!! picture perfect. However, they close by 6pm so i’m lucky to get here b4 it closes… unless I’m out for a pick up lunch. Canadian gluten free, dairy free donuts visit the freezer case here too… I have seen them virtually nowhere else on the Island.

I just started eating here! I thought they only had essential oils and health things! I didn’t know they had real food too! Not just vegetarian either, chicken adobo burritos and curry chicken wraps! I haven’t bought anything else from this place, but the food was pretty good. I liked the curry wrap the best so far because it had a good amount of meat and curry flavor. It also feels healthy and is enough for one hungry person! The chicken adobo burrito though was okay. People seem to like that one, but it did not taste like adobo anything. Only a little meat, no vinegar taste, a little runny/messy, and the whole peppercorns were a turn off. Every now and then you get a big pepper blast in your mouth! I want to try other things like the veggie chili plate next! The prices are also reasonable($ 6-$ 8). The drinks selections are cool too. I had a smoothie with spirulina, banana, and apple. It could be a meal on its own. Honestly, I’d rather go to Jamba for my smoothies but its not bad here. There is no where to eat though. So walk yourself to the food court or pop a squat somewhere! I will be back to eat again! :D

THE411: V&V’s helpful employees and friendly ambiance will make you want to quit Whole Foods for good. ***** Stopped by the other day to pick up a probiotic and a colon cleanse. I take my health very seriously, so naturally I had a lot of questions. The employee who helped me was incredibly patient and answered all my questions until I felt satisfied. Each time I have shopped here, I received excellent customer service from the employees. I love that about this place… definitely something other health-store chains should pick up on. I’ve tried a few of their takeout items as well, and I don’t have any complaints. It can be pricey, but that’s to be expected when shopping at a store like this one.

The service is hit or miss, I wish I got the ladies name because I’ve had her help me twice now and each time I’ve been very satisfied. Younger asian lady if that helps. Anyways, she helped me find this immune support allergy response medication and today she helped me find electrolyte powder. she showed me the big pacakges as well as the individual samples. So yes, two difference price points and she even told me which flavor she thought was better. Why such a low rating? there’s another older asian lady there that is always eating when I stop by. She’ll carry around her food and show you things and use her feet to kick and point at things that are lower on the shelf. Kinda inapporpriate. I understand that you have to eat lunch but come on. That’s not good customer service. I also ordered an acai bowl that came out very watery and had very little fruit. Acutally, for $ 6.50 it came with a small amount of granola, acai mix(2 packets) and half a banana. No honey, not other fruit besides the banana. Wasn’t too happy about that. I would of given it a higher rating because of the one worker but I was so disappointed in the acai bowl that i had to bring it down a star, then the other work helping wtih her mouth full and sandwich in hand… another star down. So. there you go. Over all this place is very pricey but if you like healthier options it’s the place to go. I also had their vegan pumpkin crunch which was really good but so damn expesnive. I believe it was $ 4.50 for a very small amount of cake.
