Awesome event Eric B.!! I had an awesome time seeing some new and old faces at my favorite karaōke spot, Air Park Karaōke. I don’t sing much(but if you buy me a few drinks, you’ll probably be able to convince me otherwise), but this is definitely a very chill place to hang out with everyone and make new friends. Thanks to the crew at the Pink Pearl for hooking it up with the delicious oysters.

Bomb event yet again at the awesome Air Park Karaōke! Thank you very much Eric for being an awesome Host! He totally hooked us up by getting his good friends — Pink Pearl to shuck some awesome looking oysters for $ 2 each! Spicy Yogurt, Black Bean and Wasabi! If I was in the comfort of my own home, I would have spent a lot because not only did they look good but I could smell the awesome fusion of flavors! Rocking out on the Karaōke Mic with Unilocalers is always fun! I got to meet new Unilocalers and party hard with the regulars! Saw some new songs on the list and got to hear some interesting songs being sung, even got to see what the foreign songs looked like! So cool! I tried their Fried Rice that was made by The Mixx, and brought up stairs. With my runny egg, the Fried Rice was the bomb! One thing I would change is that it had too much whole black pepper, other than that… I would order it again with the Pork Chops to try. Thank you very much Eric B. for Hosting an awesome UYE! Can’t wait for the next one!

When Eric B. posted this UYE karaōke event, it took me ages to reply as I wasn’t sure of my schedule. There are 2 reasons why attending UYE’s are beneficial: 1) you get to know your fellow Unilocalers better and 2) friendships are further developed and therefore, PRICELESS I arrived shortly after 9pm as I had to get my upper-body workout tonight. For those who follow my check-ins I workout with a personal trainer 1x a week and last week it was obvious I hadn’t put in extra time where both my trainer and I knew just by my performance. Because I meet up with the trainer on Friday and I already have plans tomorrow night, tonight was a MUST for the gym to avoid a repeat from last week’s disappointment. As I walked in I was immediately greeted by awesome host Eric B. who welcomed and thanked me for attending. The room was packed with approximately 30 peeps and you could barely hold a conversation as the music, singing and the many conversations going on! It was cool to see so many old faces: Hoku T., Arynn I., John F., Hiroko S., Arthur S., Paul R., Jacob N., Jeff O., John N., Maka K., Cathy T., Malia H. and host Eric B. Apologies if I missed any of you but there were just sooooo many people in the room. We were offered complimentary raw oysters(menu price $ 2) from Pink Pearl but it was a little too late for me to eat that stuff so I politely declined. Had I been there at 7pm I would have wolfed down a couple! Being one of the older Unilocalers in the room, I had to depart early as not only was it past my usual bedtime, tomorrow morning’s schedule starts early with my Koko Head hike. Overall, a great UYE and thanks to host Eric B. and the other Unilocalers who made this evening fun! NOTES: 1) Fellow Elite Arthur S. LOVES karaōke and this guy can sing. 2) Jeff O. looks much younger than his age.

Eric B.‘s UYE at Air Park was awesome! It was my first time at the establishment the other day but surely not the last. The inside of airpark is pretty spacious, there was over 50 people there last night and everyone was so friendly. Every Unilocaler there had nothing but good vibes and positive energy. It surely kicked the experience up to a whole new level. I really enjoyed the setup of the establishment. The karaōke section of the room was setup in the back which was great because it helped control the noise level and it was still easy to have a normal conversation with other Unilocalers without having to scream. The décor was modern and hip. Everything from the furniture to the bar gave a feng shui feel to the atmosphere. Thanks to everyone who went above and beyond to make it an extra special experience. Eric B oysters were delicious, John F. Pizza was greato! Great music selection alot of classic and modern rock, hiphop and even Chinese hits!
