to be honest truth, my obsession with everything t&c or hic creations roots back to when i was elementary school kid and all my tshirts were 10 shirts for $ 5 flouresant yellow, green, pink, green from aloha stadium swap meet. and now its funny because the construction dot code is flouresant yellow. look i always pick up stickers, keychains, slippers, sweaters/hoodies. t&c is a powerful resource because if u local, u can buy a $ 20 giftcard for anybody in your family for any gifting occassion such as birthday or xmas and any one of them think its a rad gift. as far as the shirts, i prefer the traditional wave with logo or possibly the standard yingyang or the traditional one with the beach beauty on it. those are the ones i want on me. plus u really feel expensive wearing t&c name brand *wink *wink. if i were to make a note, the board shorts used to be vynal and not the new stretchy material. fashionwize im more on the baggy side because sometimes i get fat every couple years. besides tshirt, they have shortboards(which i don’t shortboard) but i skateboard on them long custom sector 9 skateboards all over with the big wheels really makes a positive impact when u malama the aina no matter if ur in the valley or the burbs or town. t&c is true to the one of a kind only from hawaii. tell everybody you know! about t&C hawaii! =)

I went in to their shop at the mall with my nephew who was looking for a rash guard yesterday. It’s a nice a place! Friendly staff. All the cool stuff(even though I’m an old guy, they still had some REALLYNICE aloha kine shirts in that place! I almost bought a couple). But, what really struck me odd was that the merchandise was reasonably priced. The prices weren’t near as bad as I thought they would be. They weren’t bad at all for the quality product being sold. So, to summarize: Very cool stuff. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices.

I have to say, my experience was great! Walked right in during the morning hours looking for a wallet. I was worried because it does seem like the selection at T & C has gone down in the past few years. I walked right in and was greeted by an employee. She showed me my way to the wallets. Not only that but she was very tentative and helped me pick a few out right away. They have a great selection to my surprise. I saw Volcom, Quiksilver, Nixon and Herschel wallets. I went ahead and grabbed a Volcom one. The employee than walked me up to the cashier and got my all checked out. The service was great and the selection was better than expected. I will definitely be back!

If you want to be under SUSPICION for ripping off a pair of board shorts because the salesperson at T & C Surf at Kahala Mall forgot to take off the security tag, by all means shop here! If you DON’T EXPECTANAPOLOGY for their mistake, for the inconvenience THEY caused you, this is the place! In my wrapping haste, didn’t notice the security tag was still attached. Went to exchange it for another size as well. Now, how many times do I have to answer the question, «so, you don’t have the receipt?» Or,” so, when did you buy it?” All this before any sort of ownership that they are the ones who made a mistake. I offered to go home to get my bank statement. Then«manager» says no need, we can look it up on the register. Then he walked away. Yup, no apologies. If you decide to shop here, beware, there will be accusations and suspicions even if they are in the wrong. SWALLOWYOURPRIDE, T & C Kahala, admit you made a mistake before in so much as ACCUSINGYOURCUSTOMERS of any wrong doing.

Surf-style shop. Mostly clothing related. A few surf boards, a bunch of skateboards. Lots of body boards. Lots of bags and footwear. «Defend Hawaii» stickers for those that want to make a statement but don’t recognize the irony. Better for fashion than practicality.

I haven’t shopped in T&C since middle school which was over two decades ago. I’m definitely not a surfer/beach chick but after I got wind of their amazing hydroflask selection, I beelined it down. I’ve been obsessed with hydroflasks lately and had my heart set on the 40oz in blue. I know, T&C is not the first place you would think of going for a hydroflask, but surfers need water too(not just salt water). When I went yesterday, they had 21 oz, 32 oz and 40 oz in EVERY color-even the ones not on the hydroflask website. I found out later that the 32oz isn’t on the website either. The workers were suuuper cool and helped me decide between the 32oz and 40oz using their own personal experiences. There was some definite math and analytical thinking that took place leading me to my final decision.(The 40oz is a few bucks cheaper than Whole Foods for those who interested) I’m in love with my newest hydroflask– 32oz in blue :)

Great place to find T-shirts, tank tops, surf shorts, surfing and skating accessories. Hubby likes the local sayings shirts that come out every year(«False Crack Medivac», «I no stay late… I’m on Hawaiian Time» etc.). Located near Adore and Radio Shack.

Called in to see if they had DaKine backpacks in stock. The phone was answered quickly, the girl was super nice and very helpful, and they put the bag on hold for me. I came in later that evening, gave the guy at the counter my name, and he found my bag immediately — in and out of the store in less than five minutes. The price was the same as the MSRP and not much different than the prices I found online(once you factor in shipping). Buying locally is so much easier when things are in stock, sales people are helpful, and prices are competitive!

My boyfriend and I came here twice and it was terrible both times. No one greeted us nor did they ask us if we needed any help. here we are standing by the t-shirt wall for a good 5 minutes(thats a long time if youre standing with my boyfriend who has no patience ^__^) and no one came. oh but what were the workers doing? Oh nothing… just talking to each other or pretending to refold the tshirts. so whatevz. I usually like coming to T&C but I think I’ll just stick to the Ala Moana location… or any other location

Kahala Mall had a side walk sale last weekend and I was so excited to see TOMS shoes on sale at T&C. Woo hoo! T&C always has a deal on something. I always buy T&C Shirts as christmas presents. Tip: Check out the sales!

Haven’t gone here in years and my wife wanted to get some board shorts. we walk into the store and it looked very organized and stocked. The sales people were very quick to acknowledge you and say«HI»! i walked up to the cash register and ask the girl where the women’s board shorts were. instead of just pointing and telling me. she took us over to the area where the board shorts were, asked for my wife’s size, picked out a couple different styles and also went to open the fitting room for my wife. after she went to open the fitting room she came to tell us it was open for whenever my wife was ready to try on some of the shorts. after my wife tried on some shorts and came back, the girl came back to check on us. WOW! service i never thought i would expect from a surf shop. it wasn’t busy, but it wasn’t slow, so i’m just very impressed on their service and will definitely come back here to shop. Enjoy everyone!!!

I actually really like coming to this T&C probably because my friend works here and she always hooks me up. Other than that, the staff are really friendly and are always willing to help you with your selection. Prices are not too bad, they’re reasonable and there’s periodic sales. The store itself is surprisingly big and doesn’t get too crowded.
