It was so good! Cute and fresh. Only place in the mall to get caramel apples. Bring back Swirl!

Quality chocolate. Fresh, crisp and succulent fruit. What more can you ask for? I am tough on scoring because I shoot for excellence in my food. I want to score this bad boy a 4.8 but since I can’t do that, I guess I’ll give it a 5=) Now, let me know when swirl uses organic fruit so I can be the first to slap it with a +5! BTW, I never really cared for caramel/candied apples until this place and I’ve always have had a thing strawberries. But Swirl’s strawberries are at least 2 times better than any strawberry I’ve had for dessert. Thank you Swirl for setting a new standard for accessible candied fruit!

4÷4÷10UPDATE: OMG, they closed down!!! :( ******************************************************************* whoooaaa…CALORIES! this stuff is super good. too bad you automatically gain 10 lbs after having any of their desserts. or maybe it’s just me. i would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t served with a side order of guilt. but you know that’s never stopped me. *sigh*

Delicious! Apples are premium and huge so its worth the 7.50…these apples weigh almost a POUND once they finish coating it so its actually a good value. The chocolate is coated really thick so the toppings really attach in a dense layer to the apple. Complete addictive!

I’m a big fan of caramel apples… it doesn’t matter if I’ve had a full meal and they’re rolling me out of the restaurant… if I see somewhere they’re selling caramel apples, I have to have one. I’ve tried a lot of caramel apples at amusement parks, malls, and specialty food stores(like Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory), but have never seen them actually make the apple right in front of you. They let you choose the type of apple — I was surprised they didn’t just ask«red or green»? It was«Fuji or Granny Smith.» I love Fuji apples! They asked which topping and we chose the«spoiled rotten» which was the perfect choice! It had crushed oreos, milk chocolate chips, and peanut butter chips(we opted to not include the gummy worms). They pulled out a Fuji apple, dipped it in warm caramel and then smashed a thick layer of the topping around the apple until you couldn’t see any of the caramel. They sliced it for us and wrapped it up so we could share it later. This is the best caramel apple I’ve ever had! I was so fixated on the apples that I didn’t realize they had other items like bananas and strawberries. We’ll have to try those on our next trip!

I’m obsessed with fair food. This stand in the food court is a GEM. The only bad thing is there are so many choices and the writing for the different options is SOTINY… but they have little menu cards by the register that have all the flavor/topping options. You pick what you want:(frozen) apple, banana, cheesecake, etc… what type of chocolate you want it to be dipped in(white, dark, reg… etc.) and what topping. It’s pricey… between 4 – 8 bux-ish, but it tastes SOGOOD. The banana is HUGE… and you might feel a little funny chomping done on a banana stick, but it’s delicious. I got the almond roca one which they guy said was the most popular with dark chocolate:) The workers there are very knowledgeable, friendly, + quick. Really, the hardest part is picking which fruit/thing and which topping to dip it in. The best part is they take CC… because I don’t really carry cash or like using atms. Definitely coming back to try the cheesecake, strawberries, and apple options. Try it, at least once!

Awesome tasty-ness great for a snack! The best is the frozen banana dipped in chocolate and swirled in your choice of topping. The banana is HUGE not a small apple banana. You have four types of chocolates to pick from– mint chocolate(yummy), milk chocolate, white, and dark. For toppings we’ve tried the oreo cookie(messy crumbs but awesome), the berry with almonds(raspberry, almonds, some granola), the crumbled chocolate bits with earth worms About $ 5 with tax; nice change from all the sherbets, sorbets, ice creams, and shave ices all over the place. From 9am-12pm Mon-Thurs there’s a buy one get 2nd half off sale… unfortunately those aren’t really times when one craves something chocolately sweet.

so when the first original one in ward closed down, i was soo depressed! but now there are two locations, windward and ala moana malls! i’m so happy! the candy apples are excellent! an apple covered with caramel and covered in nuts and chocolate! damn, its sooo good! i gotta admit, 7 bucks for aan apple is pretty expensive! but, its freakin good! the chocolate covered bananas are awesom and the chocolate covered cheesecake is heaven! they give out samples, so next time your in ala moana, head to the food court and grab an apple, its yummy!

This place caught my eye when we first walked in through the doors of the food court. What a fantastic idea… you get to choose whatever toppings you want for your apple, cheesecake or banana and they coat it with chocolate or caramel and top it with the combination of nuts and candies that you choose. We NEED this in California! I was a little dissappointed because the girl didn’t exactly make our apple infront of us… I don’t even know if she made it or had one premade already because she turned her back and in just a few minutes came back with ours made… so I dock a point for that because It would’ve been more cooler to see it being done.

My god, this place is addictive. Swirl has the kind of desserts that you thought were only reserved for carnivals and elementary school. Caramel apples, chocolate covered bananas, chocolate covered cheesecake. I’m getting fat just thinking about it. The fruits are always fresh and the employees really know how to pack the toppings on. Subway has sandwich artists, Swirl has dessert artists. Always delicious stuff. Definitely worth the extra pounds.

OK, I’m the first to review, so I guess I have to be a little more descriptive… These are hands-down the best caramel apples around! I’ve had caramel apples before from Ethel M’s, Neiman’s, Rocky Mountain, and Mrs. Prindables, but nothing compares to Swirl! I love that you can first choose your apple(fuji or granny smith) and then choose the topping from one of their gazillion mixes. My favorite is the Almond Brittle Bash, which tastes like an Almond Roca candy on an apple. My second favorite is American Pie, which tastes exactly like an apple pie… but better! They even slice it for you so you don’t have to! They also do great frozen desserts like frozen cheescake, frozen bananas and ice cream bars that they first dip in a variety of chocolates(try the mint!), then coat in the same toppings as the apples! Out of those, I’ve only had the bananas and the cheesecake. Both equally yummy. My favorite topping for them is the Crunchy Munchies. Another thing I can recommend are the chocolate-covered strawberries.(I think if I had to choose my favorite treat ever, this would be it.) I asked them what kind of chocolate they use for them, and the super-friendly staff member told me it was Ghirardelli!!! No wonder it tastes so good!(He went on to inform me that they use Ghirardelli chocolate for all their products… YUM!). OMG, I’m craving it so much just thinking about it! Maybe I can still make it over there before they close… Yes, I’m addicted! :)
