Spa Nordstrom Express

Love coming in to see Maribel (3x’s already). She has a very pleasant personality and does a wonderful job on nails. I also had a facial done here and it was spectacular. Nordstrom does nothing but THE BEST!

It’s been a while since I went there, once. Had questions about acrylic nails using less toxic glue. This is not the place. They don’t deal with acrylics. Still had a manicure. The «salon» was clean and small. No complaints about the results. BUT there are several reasons I haven’t gone back. such as. .. Tough making an appointment. Tried in person, but no one was around. Called, but took a few calls to find the right person. The «salon» is located on the sales floor, with absolutely NO privacy. As a result, other customers continually stop by to ask questions or say «Hi,» interrupting the technician and needlessly prolonging the appointment. So I never went back. There’s more privacy at Macy’s Premier Salon and the prices are very reasonable.

I’m not one of those girly girls who have to have long, painted, manicured nails with sparkly things, cutesy flowers or Hello Kitty/​LV logos. In fact, the few times that I have gotten my nails done, it has always been done at places like Diamond Nails. Nothing against the place, but I have to say that I won’t be returning, now that I’ve found Nordstrom’s nail studio!
The studio itself is clean and off to the side of the cosmetic section (corner area by the perfumes/​Anastasia eyebrow products. Nail polish bottles are neatly arranged and displayed. The tools used are visible in the sterilizer. The reclining chairs… so comfortable and inviting!
The technician who works in the nail studio is so personable and welcoming! I immediately felt comfortable with her, and as she worked on my polish change, we chatted like old friends. She did an immaculate job, and I am very happy with the results!
The service is awesome! The products used are fantastic! The prices are so reasonable! I will definitely be going back — even if I’m not a girly girl with blinged out talons! Haha!
