First time visiting and I loved it! The Cajun fries were delicious! Great selection and something for everyone in the group!

It was the fastest most easiest time I’ve ever got crabs. Got the captains combo and it was perfect for three.

This is our favorite place to have lunch when in town ! Get the combo with the works it’s hands down the best tasting!

I love raging crab. They have the best flavor of any of the Cajun «eat on the table» restaurants. Service is good and food tastes fresh

The server was super-​nice, explained everything really well, and was very attentive without being obnoxious. The food was really good! It’s kind of a fun experience to crack your own lobster and crab. My husband and I shared the captain’s special with lobster and it was super yummy! Definitely a splurge for how casual the place was, but worth it.

Just ate this after we were craving some seafood. We got the special combination and added an extra pound of seafood, which turned out to be just the right amount of food for two people. I would recommend mixing up all three flavors together as that creates a very fragrant flavor.
My favorites from the night were snow crabs, shrimp and clams. Feeling energized on my trip to Hawaii.

Excellent service and terrific food. This is the second Cajun place and the quantity and quality of the food is better than other «kickin» places near by. Highly recommend the captian’s special! This February month they are promoting 5% off Unilocal check-​in, doesn’t apply for Valentine’s weekend (2÷12−2÷14).

The place was not busy but we figured to try it. The staff was very welcoming and accomadating. We ordered 2 combos. One with clams, shrimp and crab. The other with shrimp, crawfish and crab. We had the 5 kids with us and asked for the least spicy sauce. The waitress recommended «the works.» Bad choice. It was spicy and the kids and even the adults were gulping down our water and sprites. Looking at the rice, it was more like a mushy, soft rice which we gave to the baby. The corn was nice and crisp and soaked up the seasoning well. The crab was hard to crack and the meat small and dry as if it wad overcooked. The shrimp was nice and tender and the meat was plump. As for the clams, i thought they tasted funny but didnt want to waste. Passed it off since the spice itself killed off my tastebuds.
I wasn’t ecstatic about the overall experience and my other half just paid the bill and we left.
At about 3 am that night, my son and I woke up with nausea and indigestion. My baby ended up having diarrhea the next 3 days. My daughters both ended up missing school due to stomach cramps and diarrhea. My other half has an iron stomach so he didn’t really feel affected. Probably won’t be back for a while, but in due time will redeem this experience.

Definitely a crabshack good service amazing food good music. If I was staying in town longer I would be back. Love it !

I love shrimp, but in order for me to feel that one deserves 5 stars is for the restaurant to go beyond just having yummy shrimp.
I don’t feel that they were very busy the night that we went. For some reason, we were waiting quite a while for our food. When it comes to consistency and speed, I believe it Has to match the quality of the food.
Don’t get me wrong, the food here is good. Is it the best crab bucket restaurant in this island? No. I rather much walk a block down to… I won’t mention the name of that restaurant since that would be quite mean. Lol
Thumbs up to the waitress tho, although our food took a while, she was very nice. Sorry I didn’t catch her name.

OMFG! Loved this place! My mom got a groupon so we went to check it out. So good. It was fun too! Ordered the calamari and it was literally the best I’ve had on this island, not just because the flavour, but also you could tell the oil was clean af. Servers were awesome and super on point. The environmental was super clean and cutely fitting for a crab place. I will be coming back here for sure!

Out of all the crab pots in Hawaii I like this one the best.
Located on Keeaumoku parking is always at a premium. They have their own lot but they cd get filled up pretty fast. If you plan to go shopping you could park at Ross’ or Sams/​Walmart
I especially like the House sauce spicy. I order extra portions of rice, potatoes and corn. I don’t particularly care for the Cajun fries but I don’t think they substitute. I’d rather order snow crab too. I don’t care for Dungeness and I’d rather save King for something special. I’ve never ordered lobster. One day I may order these.
They have fountain drinks but it’s good to know that if you order something you need to stick to that drink. They won’t change your drink midway.

My first seafood lunch with a bib?! Hashtag #adultlife. I haven’t been to any seafood restaurants like this before. I thought it would be a good chance to come here with a groupon $ 25 worth of $ 50 food. The groupon valid on any days from 11am-​3pm. Not bad!
We came here on a Saturday around 1pm. It wasn’t busy, got seated right away. I told the waiter that we had a groupon and we just chose our sauce «The Works» and medium spice level. «The Works» flavor is the most popular. In 10 minutes we got our food. The deal included fries, half of a loaf of bread, 2 bowls of rice, a bunch of snow crabs, 8 shrimps, 6 pieces of mini potatoes, 6 mussels, and 2 corns. The sauce was a bit spicy but it was yummy. The corn was cook just right. I normally don’t eat fries but their fries was sooo good! Too good to resist. After we’re done we got 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and sprinkles. The food was amazing! We were so full so we took the leftover home.
It was a yummy experience. I’ll definitely come back if there’s the coupon again. Or just come for the tempura catfish and plate lunches.

Bought another Groupon. It’s been 6 months since I first visited Raging Crab and it was definitely a lesser experience.
The seafood just didn’t taste all that great. The seasoning was bland, the seafood was rubbery (possibly overcooked) and to me $ 25 just wasn’t worth this mediocre food. Don’t think I will be buying anymore groupons for this place.
The service was definitely an A+ experience though!

Very flavorful with lots of real crab meat. snow crab claws with lots of meat and sweet flavor with spicy garlic butter sauce is fulfilling lunch heaven. clam chowder was no so bad. maybe a bit too creamy for me.

Must say that I was pretty disappointed. The crab legs, crawfish, and the clams didn’t seem fresh. The crawfish were tiny, there were many tiny tiny crawfish claws, they were smaller than half of the size of my pinky; couldn’t really eat them at all. Plus, the crawfish has this smell when you break off the head and eat the body. The smell was not fresh. Same with the crab legs.
The lemon butter with the spicy choice was very strong and salty. I can’t really tell if the clams are fresh or not, because the sauce covered the taste.
I tried to finish everything, but the crawfish smelled too much at the end.
The only thing I could compare Raging Crab to were the seafood I had in New Orleans. Raging Crab was a disappointment.
Did not sleep well after eating food from here. Too salty. Next morning, gained 6 pounds, probably from water retention, stomach pain, smelly diarrhea! Not healthy, not fresh, and definitely not worthy it.

My friends and I waited around for exactly an hour to be seated on Mother’s Day Sunday. Not a big deal, considering how it was a busy night. What irritated me, was that we were staring at an open table for four (the amount of people in our party), for about twenty minutes, only to be seated at that exact table! Nothing else was added to it, so I don’t understand why we had had to stand around staring at that table while our stomachs grumbled away.
Needless to say, the service wasn’t top notch at this place, but it’s not like there was much to serve us. Just a bag of seafood smothered in sauce.
The food, by the way, was pretty tasty. It came out quickly enough, and I was very happy with that. It was a little too salty for my liking, but that’s because the boyfriend and I ordered «The Works» as our sauce. We got the meal for two with the lobster, and that lobster was deeeelicious! I’m a fan. Like I said though, the food was really salty, and they took forever to refill our waters!
With three kids waiting on our table, you would think that at least ONE of them would have been able to get us some water.
Also, this sort of dining style is messy. VERY messy, and pretty fun if you ask me, but I would have liked it if they got us more napkins when they said they would give it to us, instead of having us wait like ten minutes for it. Or better yet, how about they place a FULL roll of paper towels on the table before seating us instead of having us stare at the empty table for twenty minutes only to be seated at a table with paper towel roll with only TWO paper towels left on it? Come on people… The restaurant wasn’t even full when we were there, so I had a hard time understanding why the service was so slow. Good and friendly service, but PAINFULLY slow.
Better luck next time. That is, I would definitely come back with some friends, and I hope the service is on point when I come back!
