Pro Nails

Got a gc to come here so I brought my best friend. When we got here, I saw the prices and already was a little sketch because I ALWAYS GO TO TRINAS. Anyways, I opted for gel full set and a pedi. Considering I was wearing pants I was hoping they would be understanding and accomadate the situation. Do not bother conversating because they do not talk. They are fast either and the amount of time they take to do these Manicures and pedicures you would expect bomb work but it’s mediocre compared to price and work of other places. I did a fade with a brown black. He failed to fade from top to bottom and 4 of my nail tips lack glitter in the far right corner. As for my pedicure, he made my big toe bleed. I felt a pinch and when I looked down I saw blood. omg. I never had that happen to me before. I got a pedi considering I was wearing pants and they did pull my pants up a little but the amount of time they spent was not worth $ 25.00. I have yet to see the results of my friends, but if it’s anything like mines. She’s probably feeling likewise. I’m all for giving second chances so I’ll be back.

Hellen was really good! She cleaned my feet nails and everything very good! I just finished now id come back again. The worker is really good!

I’m updating my previous review. I have visited this nail salon again, possibly sometime last semester to get my nails done again (gel). Very good work, and it lasts a long time! But I didn’t see how a gelish manicure came out to around $ 50-​or so. Also, is it a coincidence that the worker took too long of a time looking at my card and about the next two days, someone used my card info to pay for bills? Considering that I didn’t use my card for anything else? And from then on, the woman who did my nails, always avoided talking to me. Hmmmm, not going to come back.

This place was horrible!!! Although I walked in and got seated quickly, the water that they had set up for me was BURNING HOT! They didn’t do much, pedicure lasted a quick 10 minutes! Manicure was pretty quick as well… This place wasn’t as thorough as I wanted and didn’t give me the service that I wanted. I wasted around $ 80 on this place. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Junk! Gelish is only $ 25 and they charged me $ 57. And this young Asian girl who did my nails wasn’t very nice. While she was doing my nails I asked her if I can go bathroom (I’m pregnant and I have to go bathroom like every 5 minutes) she told me no cuz it’s not done yet, then I asked her again if I can go cuz I really had to go, she said no it’s not dry yet you’re gonna ruin it, she kept telling me it’s not dry at the same time she kept applying nail polish on my nail. And She kept asking questions about my personal life! My nails wasn’t bad, but how that girl act??? Not so good!

Although my last visit was pretty good, all others were not particularly awesome which is the reason for my 3 star review.
This visit was almost great except that when a friend and I arrived, there was only 1 worker so I had to wait about 20 minutes for another worker to arrive to get started on my pedi.
Except for having to wait, the worker was super thorough cleaning my toes, scraping and buffing away. It was a decent price at 26.18 for a regular pedicure.
In my previous visits, the workers seemed as though my being there annoyed them. They were not friendly at all!
I may be back just because this is the closest place for an emergency mani or pedi… or whenever I break my nail next. Otherwise, I will most likely go elsewhere. Oh and on a side note, there were cockaroaches! They were small but still. they were crawling in the sink! Oh and another thing to consider. .The place is kind of small. Think of a wide hallway.

Horrible place for a pedicure, and even worse customer service. Their services are sub-​par, and prices are not competitive at all, especially considering how many other options there are for gelish nails and pedicures.
Walked in on a very slow Thursday for a pedicure, only one other customer in the salon. One worker was lying down in the back when she popped up and told me to come back in 30 minutes because there were 2 appts ahead of me…
Ain’t nobody got time for that, so I took my business else were, and so glad I did.

I was disgusted by this salon. I came here on a recommendation from a coworker who said this was best place to go. I came in for a mani/​pedi. There were only two people working so I had to wait awhile, but I didn’t mind since there’s a Starbucks practically next door. If you come here I would recommend bringing your own polish. You can tell when a polish is bad by its smell and consistency and all the ones I opened were foul. During my pedicure she didn’t exfoliate/​shave my feet, the massage lasted two minutes, and the water was cold. What disturbed me the most about this place was their lack of cleanliness and sterilization. I watched the lady clean my foot basin when she was done and all that consisted of was a quick rinse job with water. During my manicure I was able to see the tools up close and they were nasty! There was dried dead skin and nail clippings in the tool tray and they looked as if they hasn’t been sterilized ever! I’m surprised I didn’t end up with some foot fungus or rash from this place. Needless to say I will not be going back to this place.

If u need to get your nails done this is the place to go do it at great work friendly staff good prices

Got a pedicure a while ago… the girl who did my nails did a wonderful job! Polish lasted a month! I will be back! Docked them a star because it was really hot in there.

I went here to get my eyebrows waxed years ago, this was the week before my junior prom and the lady I normally went to was on vacation! So I panicked and was desperate, so I went to Pro Nails since it was so close — but omg. NEVER AGAIN.
A man did my eyebrows and he literally splattered the HOT wax on top of my eyebrows. And it was hottt, I even winced. And it hurt when he peeled the thing off, and he got angry saying I shouldn’t scrunch my eyebrows like that when he’s lifting the paper off my eyebrows — What? You dropped the load of wax on my eyes of course I’m gonna wince!!!
Never again. I avoid this place, no matter how desperate I am.

If you get waxed, make sure you get Tran. The service is not too friendly; you often feel like your business is a nuisance to them. They often ignore you altogether and talk to each other in Vietnamese. The acrylics are OK, but their removal is really bad.
Don’t get a pedicure here – they shave the skin off the bottom of your feet, which is unsanitary! The better way is to file. For a pedi, go to Smiley’s. The only plus for Pro-​Nails is its convenience, especially if you go to KS.

get the guy. he is amazing. even cuts off your toe hair. for $ 25 it’s the BEST pedicure you’ll get on oahu. swear to god.
