Amazing. And such sweet ladies running the show. The soy katsu is next level good, everything else I see people eating looks delicious. I feel so lucky to have a vegan joint so close to where I’m staying. I’ll be in every day for at least on meal.

My 2016 Resolution was to eat more vegetables. What better way to reach that goal than by dining at downtown’s only vegan restaurant, Loving Hut? Located on Fort Street Mall, Loving Hut offers healthy, wholesome, plant-based foods disguised as delicious phở, sandwiches, and soups! I am not a vegan(because bacon), but I try my best to limit my meat consumption for health, environmental, and, you know, animal-loving reasons. Loving Hut’s menu of comforting and tasty foods is an accessible and easy way to do just that. I chose to visit Loving Hut on a rather cold afternoon, so was immediately drawn to the soups offered on the menu. From Hearty Curry Soups to Wonton Noodles Soups, there is a lot to choose from. I decided to try the Buddha’s Soup because it was filled with a wide assortment of VEGETABLES including Kabocha, Broccoli, Carrots, Cabbage, Shiitake Mushrooms, and Button Mushrooms with Non-GMO Tofu in a Ginger-based broth. At $ 12.95, the soup is more expensive than my typical lunches, but the serving size is HUMONGOUS! Albeit a bit too salty, I loved every bite of my soup and would definitely return for the same hearty and comforting dish again. Since soups are made-to-order, the sweet lady running Loving Hut gave me a tip: Place a phone order in advance so your soup is hot and ready upon your arrival! I will definitely be eating more vegetables in 2016 thanks to Loving Hut!

We were just walking around Honolulu looking for a place to eat, and we found this one. We were both very pleased an excited to find a vegan/vegetarian restaurant in the heart of Honolulu. The restaurant, itself, was very bare bones, and it did not seem to be very popular, yet, but we found it reasonably clean, and, of course, we loved the vegan concept. Hungry for a little taste of home, I had the Vegan Burrito made with Vegan Chili. My wife went with the Healthy Stir Fry. The burrito probably fits their concept of a burrito, but, being from the Southwest on the Mainland, it seemed to me that calling it a «Wrap» would be a more accurate description. Nonetheless,(what’s in a name?), I found it to be tasty, satisfying, and reasonably priced for Hawaii. My wife’s stir fry was nicely done, and very flavorful. The portion size and price were reasonable for food in Hawaii. For both of us, it was nice just to have food similar to what we are used to without having to compromise at all. Everything on the menu is Vegan. You don’t have to ask, and you don’t have to worry. Also, everything is organic, too. They are also very aware of, and attentive to food allergies, food restrictions, and special needs like gluten-free.

Had a vegetable curry soup, i thought mine would look like the picture but it was not the same and the soup had turned out to be a bit saltier than I have expected. The overall setting of the restaurant was pretty simple & basic with bright incandescent where there was no extensive amount of distractions or disturbances. The interior surroundings was pretty clean for the most part and there was a small seating area for people to sit down while waiting and there was a TV on the side so it would not be a super boring awkward fainning moment for customers who are waiting for their orders. Considering an amateur, i have rarely been a picky eater and out of an extraordinary reason have I decided that it would be somewhat beneficial to try out vegetarian style of diet meaning i would still be ok with eggs and diary… I really do like the pumpkins and can’t emphasize enough on my love for vegetables.

I love this place so much. Yummy fresh healthy vegan food. Perfect lunch spot near my downtown office. I’m going to try to make this my special spot once a week. Wonton soup is my favorite. Happy girl. Also the sweetest lady in the whole world works there and she is so welcoming and nice. You can tell they take pride in their food.

Came here for the first time the other day. Everything was amazing, but the fact that the woman who was working there was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever encountered made everything that much better. I ordered a manapua(which I’ve been wanting to try for a while) and it was crazy delicious! Then I couldn’t decide between the wonton soup, Katsu curry and the eggplant tofu dish, so she said if I wanted to try the Katsu curry and eggplant tofu, she could do a half and half plate for me! So kind and accommodating! I ordered that, both things were super tasty. I definitely recommend eating here!

They are vegan and mostly organic and they are open late. They microwave the food after a certain hour which is against the health tip. The plates taste, ok, but most importantly I always leave hungry. I would appreciate bigger portions especially $ 12 for a cup and a half of stir fry. The food is ok. It looks a lifeless and I’m always the only one there. The front looks more picked– up then it does clean. I haven’t been to the back but today there was mold growing on the Braggs which the attendant took care of. The attendant is super nice, tho.

Been here several times. Neat and convenient downtown location. Operated by a super nice Chinese lady and her parents. The parents do not speak English but photos on the menu make it easy to order and despite the language barrier the food comes out super yummy. I have tried the longevity chili with brown rice, the steamed veggie plate with black rice, and the black bean mochi. I have read other people’s posts about the blandness of the dishes and they are right the food isn’t generously seasoned but I personally prefer it that way and have really enjoyed everything that I have tried here. I’ve also had the green juice smoothie and the lemon ginger juice, both of which were delicous. And yes it’s true the prices can be kind of high and the food portions can be kind of small so if you’re looking for a lot of food for your dollar this may not be the place.

Tried their vegetable lasagne which was kind of bland, could definitely need more seasoning! But I loved their option of getting an extra side of steamed vegetables. Also the lady there was super friendly and let me try some chocolate which was really good!

I love this place so much. The food is delicious, and they offer many organic items. The won ton soup and Buddha soup are both amazing. The vegan manapua and nori veggie rolls are also very good. And the veggie power juice and ginger tea are very nice as well. The place is austere in décor. Simple. The energy here is very high: peaceful, grateful, helpful. Thank you all so much. Aloha.

As an experienced vegetarian/vegan diner, I’ve given this place three chances and found it is sadly lacking. I write this review– though it pains me — so that those who are curious about veg cuisine don’t go here and become totally disillusioned about what it should taste like and cost. Pros: Location is convenient — Fort St. Mall. The lady working is always super nice and friendly and obviously believes in the mission of the restaurant(affiliated with Loving Hut but I’m not sure what the connection is) which is a kind diet for planet, human health and ethical treatment of animals. I wholeheartedly support these — but I also want good taste and value! That said, the food is wildly overpriced for what you get — I ordered the chili today, which was almost like the beans simmered in broth, no vegetables at all– on brown rice.(It was being simmered in the back, so I couldn’t see it. I would not have ordered it just looking at it. Very bland-looking). besides being purportedly organic and lard free, I think 19th-century prison food in Russia has a lot in common with this dish. Portion is a four inch round and four inch high cup. I was charged $ 9.Nine dollars(i think she wanted to charge $ 10 but I only had $ 9 cash and it’s cash only.) $ 5 – 6 would have been generous for what it was. I had a similarly dissatisfying two-entrée combo the last time I ventured in. The noodles were limp and the seasoning bland. I can’t speak for the lasagna which wasn’t ready yet, and would have ordered, but at $ 11, it would have had to have been pretty amazing. So sad, but please don’t go here if you want amazing vegan food. TRYJUICYBREW in Hale Pawaa medical office building. Free validated parking and AMAZING food. $ 10 will get you ulu falafel with avocado or feta and local tomato. You won’t miss the meat at all. Cooked with love and care from local and organic ingredients, and you can grab artisinal coffee or tea while you wait for your food. Or… try the Punahou/King St. location of Loving Hut(the Pensacola location is also awful so beware) which has amazing food. Sorry Eden on Earth. You’ve fallen from Heaven.

Great place for take out, vegan on the go. We need more places like this, to include nice sit down places but this fills the void well as there aren’t a lot of vegan restaurants that I’ve found in the area.

Bad food. Bad service. Don’t eat here. I’ve gone to this restaurant for a couple of years and it has really degraded in food quality and service. What’s worse, now they charge you an arm and a leg for a small meal. Even more than down to earth. Save your money and head to vita juice for a vegan meal. The old lady also talks $&$”/in Chinese at you if you complain.

This place not only offers another vegan choice of places to eat it is strictly vegan! The hostess of this establishment is very welcoming! Food is ready and set to grab and go or sit and enjoy nice and warm. They have a variety of food from asian to american and a mixture of both! I usually am on the go and so often have their lemongrass tofu sandwich which has become a favorite of mines!

Love this place! The woman working there was so nice and welcoming. I convinced my husband to go in, even though he is the biggest meat eater, and we both loved it! For the amount of food that you get and the quality, you get a steal for your money! :)

I give this restaurant two stars, because for the large price I pay, I get a very small amount. Majority of the food is Asian and delicious, which could be found at other Chinese places around the Downtown area. If you’re planning on getting Asian food at Eden on Earth, I recommend going to another Chinese restaurant. Why? You’ll get more for your buck. I got a two entrée plate for $ 9 and I only gut one cup of noodles and about ½ cup of tofu. I felt like I was being ripped off. It is possible to find vegan entries at other eateries at a decent and reasonable price. Although the restaurant may not advertise their meal as being vegan, there will be an entrée that is made entirely without animal by-products.

Excited to try their whole menu! Tonight was my first time here. I ordered two vegan manapuas. They were popped in the microwave to heat them up. They were okay. Somewhat flavorless. I’ll have to try their lasagna next time!

The vegan lasagna is bomb. So delicious. The lady is really nice and gives you recommendations of what is freshly-made. Very quick because of that as well.

First of all, I generally love vegan restaurants because it eliminates the need for me to guess about which dishes may or may not have animal products. Eden on Earth is a small kitchen that offers satisfying meals. It’s great for lunch. The food is not particularly strong in flavor — if you want something spicy, this isn’t the right place to get it. But for simple, fresh-tasting vegan meals, it’s a no-brainer. I love the lemongrass tofu with black rice. Also, the owner/chef is so sweet. She always throws in some extra vegetables or other things to try, even though they don’t actually come with the meal. Overall reasonable prices and good value for your money.
