They did me wrong today and I’ve been going here for years. Went in and ordered the same thing I always order, 12 inch Super Sub with Provolone. Got to my office an hour later and started eating it, and it was a Roast Beef. I called the company and they basically said too bad. The manager said«the guy remembers that is what you ordered, he wrote it down». When I told them that I ordered from the waitress, they changed their story. That is not good business. I started going to their family’s pizza shop in Chinatown in college in the 90’s. They need to learn how to treat their good repeat customers. They just lost a good one.(I eat a lot and I spend a lot and my office is blocks away) The Super Sub is great, Don’t much care for the Roast Beef, gave it to my dog who comes to work with me and went to Jack in the Box. Lots of good places to eat; Don’t have to go to the ones that don’t treat you kindly.

We usually order take out pizza for lunch but if you have the time try their pastas. I tried the mushroom ravioli with meatballs and was pleasantly surprised on how tasty it was. Service is quick and friendly.

This place is located on King st. & it is often busy so the front parking is normally full but there is a back parking you just gotta pay $ 2/1hr. My husband and I like ordering here because for some reason no one else can do great pastas and pizzas. And you know what else is great about this place? The owners are Asian & they know how to make it delicious and awesome! Service is also awesome, I always feel like I went to my auntie’s kitchen and she’s happy to serve you and ask you what you want! It really does feel like you are going to someone’s house and they talk to you like you’re a regular. I normally order the antipasto salad and my husband always order a medium pizza. But my favorite is the lasagna. This one comes with garlic bread. Most of the time I order take out and some places when you order take out, it’s already soggy by the time you get home. I have not experience that here. The lasagna is meant for one person so if you’re gonna have two ppl you would need to order two. Unless you eat like a bird of course. Overall this place is great. The prices are average for Oahu though. Large pizza is about $ 18.50, which is competitive to dominos and Pizza Hut. But why get those when you can get it from La Pizza Rina!

You know when the business gave up on making the food taste good and they’re just opened for the sake of making money. Well this is the place!!! Pizza lacks flavor. It tasted like they just spread canned tomato sauce and sprinkled cheap mozzerella cheese that doesnt melt with your selected toppings. The crust/pizza dough is bland along with the already bland tomato sauce. I mean they could at least master and put effort into their pizza sauce to make it taste a bit better. Their antipasto salad dressing was good but the salad itself looked cheap. Overall their food LOOKEDCHEAP. The experience left me numb and wtf. I felt like i literally paid for an expensive cheap meal that I forced myself to eat bc I had no choice and was hungry. To put this into terms that makes sense: its like a cheap no class BiOtch who thinks she has expensive taste.

I give La Pizza Rina 5 stars for their sub sammich. Everything else is alright, but I keep coming back for the sammich. 1 star less because it’s almost impossible to get a phone order through. They rarely answer, so the last couple times I had to go in to order take-out. But back to the sammich — my favorite sub sammich in Hawaii. Bread is baked fresh everyday. It’s nice a flaky — nice crisp on the outside with soft center. The Super Sub is the best. It comes with ham, salami, capicola, pepperoni, cheese, and their special dressing. I want to go there for lunch right now!

Being from Chicago– I am a pizza fanatic! So gotta try a few different pies. Italian Sausage and Pepperoni as the standards to gauge and others with vegs. For thin crust– what we call thin crust is any pizza not deep dish– they were pretty good. Many people don’t know this– but Chicago eats more pizza per capita than any other city and then on top of that they also eat Deep Dish as a separate food group! So we love pizza. Highlight for others will be the sandwiches– not uncommon to see at larger pizzerias but uncommon for such a small shop. The sandwiches are worth going back for again and again. Small French influence on an Italian style sandwich. Wonderful!

We got a regular crust pizza with tomatoes, mushrooms, and turkey. A pretty good portion, but not a lot. Would of liked more turkey. Cheese was really good and I liked the crust. Easy to chew, not hard. Pizza is difficult for me to five a five star. Gotta go to East Coast from what I hear, so, not a bad pizza place. I did order a turkey sub sandwich to go and I rather enjoyed it. A great size that filled me up for breakfast. My friends say that they see people line out the door for this place during lunch which is why we came for dinner. Small place, but excellent service. Very nice lady helped us order and brought our food. Overall: Good food, Great service, Great price

Really small, and literal«hole-in-the-wall». GREATFOODTHOUGH! Ate the spinach fettucine w/meat sauce and that was a real hit! They don’t overdo it on the sauce, either. Noodles are cooked Al Dente, and the portion is really good for the price. I have tried the meatballs once before. However, I do like my marinara/meat sauce on the sweeter side, and this didn’t quite meet that standard. Still delicious though. Hubby had the medium-sized pineapple/ham pizza and that thing is HUGE! Definitely worth the money… and you have some for the next day! They overload on the toppings and don’t short change you! Garlic cheese bread is amazing, probably the best I’ve ever had. We shared this for an appetizer(it’s a big serving for 2 people) and really enjoyed it. We finished the whole thing! Also have vegetarian dishes available(using the spinach fettucine). Altogether a great place.

Been here for a previous visit ordered the spaghetti. I enjoyed it then and that’s what got me to come back. This time I ordered it with meatballs. Gabriel B. ordered the cheese ravioli and Mog P. got the fettuccine with sausage. The service was okay. We did receive the menus immediately but from there everything took a while. A refill on my water didn’t occur until we were practically done eating. Waited for the bill quite awhile. Very hard to get the waitresses attention as if she was just avoiding my look. This time around I was not happy with the spaghetti. There was a medicine taste to it. Sometimes this can occur if you burn the garlic. Not sure if that’s what happened here I just didn’t like it. A first time for me where I did not use the bread to wipe the sauce off my plate and eat it leaving a spotless dish. The garlic cheese bread itself was weak. Not enough cheese. Definitely not enough garlic I couldn’t even taste it. Oh, and it was burnt around the edges. Really don’t like having to scrape that stuff off before eating. The meatball, not enough meat. There’s meat taste but it’s over powered by the bread stuffing and other ingredients. Sorta mushy instead of meaty. Gabriel B. was happy with his cheese ravioli served very hot. While waiting for that to cool down, he was digging into Mog P.‘s fettuccine with sausage which came out delicious. I couldn’t tell what kind of noodles they were. Fettuccine yes, but they were a different color like may be wheat? It did taste good and couldn’t tell too much about the noodles but if they are using something different than what we as customers would expect I would hope we were informed. I should have asked just for my own fyi. I’ll probably come back again hoping for better. However, in reading the past recent reviews, I may be hoping for too much.

Sorry, I’m not from here, so I don’t mind being honest about my experience and how crappy it was. The old lady who was my waitress needs a reminder in what her job entails, OR to just quit being a damn waitress. Rude and impatient would be giving her a compliment. I had a sub sandwich, and it was meh. For $ 7 you get a sandwich. No chips, no drink. Just a 6″ sub with a shitty attitude. I cannot vouch for their pizza, so maybe getting that with delivery is the way to go. I won’t be back here.

Turkey & Cheese please! Yes, I normally come here for a little pizza, & the Italian Salad… but today, I felt like doing a sandwich! Met up with my friend today, and upon ordering up a sub sandwich, I decided on the Turkey & Cheese Sub. I must say, the bread they use for their sandwiches is so fresh! I’m not sure if the bake it on site, or if they order it in… but regardless, the bread is all so crispy on the outside, yet when you bite into it, the bread is all so soft on the inside! Noms! When you order a sub here, be prepared to eat! They really know how to pack in a lot of meat into their sandwiches, and the sandwich comes with sliced lettuces, tomatoes, & onions. The sandwich is also topped with some kind of light oil/vinegar dressing which really compliments the taste of the sub! For a great sandwich… you can’t go wrong with this place! I can honestly tell you, it’s 1000% better tasting than eating a Subway sandwich! Chance ‘em gang! No can go wrong!
