I was disappointed with my pizza. I ordered an extra large combo and couldn’t wait to get home to eat it. The crust in the middle of the pizza was uncooked and it was soggy. The whole pizza was undercooked. Being that I paid $ 36 I expected a better pizza. I miss the old Magoo’s pizza. The pizza guy was really nice tho. I just wish the pizza was better.

WARNING: you are really just eating a take and bake pizza from Sams club(costs about $ 6 – 8) vs something made fresh here-SERIOUSLY! So, if you want to pay 3x the price for a sams club pizza, this is where to go. I’m guessing they WERE making fresh pizzas *maybe* when they first opened but now are selling heated up take and bake pizzas. I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to re-sell something not intended for resale(??). Anyhow, if you read people’s complaints about the dough, you can see for yourself… they were good, but something happened.(Something like they go across the street to sams club, buy cold pizzas there and heat them up for you at 3x the price) Anyhow, even if you were ok with paying more, it is still unappetizing pizza. You are much better off ordering take out pizza from JJ Dolans-it will cost about the same or less, and will taste SO much better. We also received the free upgrade to a square XL size like other reviewers mentioned but we think this is either because they were out of their round take and bakes from SAMs club(like the large size) and/or its because they know you will tip them more, meaning you’re really just getting ripped off more because it’s really only $ 6-$ 8 at SAMs, depending on which one you order. Obviously, they’re adding their own toppings on some of these because SAMs doesn’t sell all the concoctions people can come up with. But, the dough, sauce, and the cheese is all SAMs club. See my pics-I can’t believe other people never noticed the box it comes in. «Daily Chef» is SAMs club brand and then the box clearly says«Take and Bake» and gives instructions on how to store and heat it up. I really think everyone who has bought one of these pizzas lately is owed a refund. The gig is up Doughlicious. Ps-it’s very un-Doughlicious…the dough definitely is the grossest part.

This is one of the best pizza spot ever. Visiting from San Francisco, family were hungry so I chose this spot. And I’m glad I chose this spot! Had it delivered in our hotel, gave us great service and gave us free extra large pizza(I don’t know why but thanks!)

Doughlicious isn’t a good sit down joint but they do have two small tables available. Better to take out. They can do split toppings on your pizzas. We ordered a Large with two specialty toppings and got upgraded to an XL. Probably a mistake but we were cool with that, thanks dude! I love the thin crust but I though the toppings were sparse. My topping of choice had several ingredients but there were only one or two on each piece. It wasn’t very evenly distributed. The cheesy garlic bread was good and it was a lot. I had to muster up all will power to not spoil my appetite in the car ride home from eating the bread. Decent pizza, friendly service. I’m not a huge pizza person so I won’t say I’ll be back soon but it was enjoyable.

No complaints about this place! Super fast, service was personable and attentive. I was starving so I was really pumped with how quick they were! And the pizza was absolutely fabulous. Great thin, crispy crust and the and ingredients are so good. Loved the kalua pork bbq pizza. We’ll definitely be going back.

Just had my first taste of the infamous hot ham and mushroom melt sandwich and I’m in heaven. I can’t really shed light on any other menu items but I can say that the hot ham and mushroom melt is delish!!! The store front itself is very small and seating is very limited, so I recommend taking out and maybe hitting up a local beach park or something. All subs and hot melts come on a 12 inch roll for $ 10.75. I know that’s a little much but for me this sandwich was worth it. I’ll post a pic of their menu in this post.

Very disappointed!!! I felt ripped off by this business. Very unhappy. I am a returning customer, and this time(Jan 2nd, 2016), the dough is frozen, hard, undercooked, and completely different from before. The dough made the pizza unpleasant to eat. It was Uneatable! 2 large pizzas costed us over $ 58 dollars, plus I gave $ 12 dollars to the delivery guy. Very disappointed. We threw again the rest of the pizzas It was a waste of money. It seemed like there is a drastic negative change in the way this business make their pizzas now. It is low quality un-eatable, expensive pizza. I warn against ordering from them!!!

Whoa I saw they had a pastrami sub and wanted to try it for a long time, I finally got to go and I was pleasantly surprised that it was huge! I could only eat half of it! It was great! This was at one time Magoo’s in a bus on King St. Which I kept passing and was always meaning to goto then it closed :-(and reappeared here with a different name. Parking depending when you go can get a bit crowded, but they are friendly and get it to you nice and hot, seating is a bit sparse but there are two tables most people pickup and go. I’m getting hungry for another Pastrami Sandwich from here again… :-)

So far the best pizza I’ve had on Oahu, and most similar to pizza in NYC. Proper thin crust, brick oven flavor. If you are the kind of person who prefers Domino type pizza, doughy soft crust, over sauced, do yourself a favor and continue eating at your favorite fast food joint. After reading the reviews, it seems like the majority of nay sayers are people who prefer doughy conveyer belt oven kind of pizza, so if that is you, don’t come here. But the majority of reviews do love this place, with good reason! This is the real deal — the kind where you can hold a slice with one hand and it doesn’t flop over, cheesy, perfect harmony of topping + crust. Yum!

I was so excited when an acquaintance said the pastrami pizza changed his life(for the better) and I found out Doughlicious delivered. A few days later I ordered the pastrami pizza, the BBQ Luau with chicken, and a hot mushroom melt for delivery for our staff meeting. I placed and paid for my order a day ahead. They balked a bit because they already had one other large delivery around the same time. I said I’d accept delivery earlier, so as not to conflict. It was a bit irritating but it worked out. Our office is maybe a mile or so away from the restaurant and easy to get to. But that didn’t stop the delivery person from getting lost; he said the address didn’t show up on his GPS.(The building is well-known and has been here for decades.) He kept me on the phone as I tried to guide him and he cursed along the way, at other cars and at his inability to find the place. Two other staff members went down and met him as we feared he’d get completely lost in our building, so I never saw him in person. The food — what a disappointment. Neither pizza had any flavor. They used a special topping — ninja pastrami — no one could detect it. The chicken was blah. You could tell the pizza dough was fresh. It was the only good thing. The sandwich was strangled(maybe by the ninja pastrami?), swaddled in layers and layers of wrapping so the bread was soggy from the steam. The sandwich was okay, at best. Usually we do a number on pizza, but there was a lot left this time. None of us liked it and all had the same low opinion. No one wanted a second piece and I had to just about force someone to take the leftovers home. It was an expensive mistake — I spent $ 20+ more than what I usually spend on the chain-store pizza I usually buy for staff meetings. Look, if you’re going to offer delivery but are thrown by two orders around the same time and end up serving crap, either get more people or stop offering delivery. Don’t deliver if you can’t deliver. I may try Doughlicious one more time, but it will be at the restaurant, and not delivery. I won’t make that mistake again.

Decided to try this place based on Unilocal rating and reviews and we couldn’t be more disappointed! Our thin-crust pizza was extremely dry and had no sauce on it whatsoever. Not sure if they forgot it, or what happened, but between the lack of sauce and the texture of the terrible dough(ironic given the name of this place) the pizza was inedible. Ironically, while we were waiting for 50+ minutes for our delivery I was reading further into the reviews and noticed some pretty disappointed customers. Wish we would’ve seen those reviews earlier. Oh and, given the quality, or lack thereof, of the food, this place is way on the pricey side! Do yourself a favor and find another place to meet your pizza needs.

Ever since Kent I. posted about Doughlicious, I’ve wanted to check it out. I love pizza, and he made it sound so good! The opportunity presented itself last night, and I now have a new favorite pizza place! Located in Samsung Plaza, Greg & Lani have a cozy but popular little place! There are 2 bar height tables for those who want to eat in(sorry we took up the whole place last night!), but they do quite a busy take-out service to people hanging out at nearby bars, locals picking up, and even some visitors from Korea and elsewhere! I saw at least 6 deliveries go out, too! Check out their website, to see a very diverse menu that includes pastrami, zucchini, shrimp, kalua pork or chicken, all available on pizzas that sound ‘ono! There are also hot and cold sandwich offerings, and special dessert pizzas available upon request. Lani could not have been more helpful with ordering. My instructions via text message were to order«Garlic heresy bread thing, salad if they have, large half and half of whatever you want». Thanks to auto correct, Lani and I had a good laugh over the heresy bread, which is actually supposed to be «cheesy” – the menu officially calls it Buttery Garlic Bread Topped with Homemade Marinara. If you’re practicing the low carb „religion“, then eating this bread is heresy… it’s so good you can’t stop! The salad was amazing… not just for a pizza place, but for any place. Really fresh, pretty, and so tasty! It was simply dressed with a bit of oil and coarse salt, and while Lani offered dressing, it really did not need it. All the flavors were so fresh and tasty, and the salt brought them all out so nicely. Our pizza was a ½ Shrimp“licious» & ½ Doughlicious Classic Combo. Shrimp, fresh garlic, anchovies, capers & tomatoes on one side, and Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, olives, onions and mixed bell peppers on the other. Their crust is thin and sauce is sweet and seasoned nicely with herbs. Wow, the shrimp pizza was original and SO tasty, sprinkled with capers and whole anchovy filets. If you haven’t had anchovy, warning, it’s salty stuff. But so good! The combo side of the pizza was also delicious. I especially appreciate the mixed peppers because while I love any type of pepper except the green ones(gag!). I only had to pick out one tiny green pepper speck, and got to enjoy all the other peppers. We were already full, but we had heard other people order«Dessert Pizza» and had to ask about it. Last night’s dessert pizza was chocolate chips, banana, honey & Nutella. Oops, they had me at Nutella! We had to try it. It was also quite yummy! I had to learn not to inhale near the powdered sugar(cough, cough, clouds of whiteness!), but aside from that, it was tasty! Tips: The high tables and stools are not baby friendly – bring a stroller if you want to eat in. Samsung Plaza parking is validated, but can get crowded at night, especially on Friday. Street parking at meters is free at night, and Walmart has a big lot across the street – get creative ;-) Delivery and carry out are great options, too! Lani & Greg do follow Unilocal,so please give them credit if you Doughlicious.

i’m very happy to have found Doughlicious Pizza! It has everything I want a pizza to be: super crispy crust, interesting toppings, and tasty cheese. We called ahead to make sure there was a dining area available and the lovely woman on the phone even saved the table for us. There are two tables with bar stools for dining in and there was a steady stream of people picking up take out orders. They even offer free delivery up to 3 miles away. We decided to do half a combination and half zucchini pizza. I don’t think I really favored one more than the other because both were delicious! They served us water in chilled mugs(a nice touch!). The owners are a hardworking husband and wife team who do it all. The husband(the pizza maker) also does the deliveries. I look forward to coming back and trying their Portuguese sausage sandwich and other pizza combinations. I want this place to succeed because the food is genuinely amazing and the owners were really sweet and hardworking.

That’s some DAMN good pizza! Plenty of taste, reasonably priced, and fast courteous service. The only down side, a little hard to find, but when you do, you’re in for a treat! Highly recommended!
