Been here a few times for Halo Halo and thought it was very great special type of dessert the workers were dressed professionally in uniforms and were pretty friendly the store was like a small counter on the corner across from curry house and Hagen Doze ice cream at the ground floor at the food court where most people would go after shopping and the bus stop was right straight ahead of the door so I thought it would be a convenient stop by on the way home for a small treat.

For fast food chicken? Pretty awesome. A chain that is the McDonald’s of the Filipino world, serving up fresh hot chicken and the Filipino form of sweet spaghetti to all diners. Jollibee was a hit in Hawaii when it first arrived, and now that the novelty is over, it’s still standing the test of time. The fried breading of the chicken is lighter and crispier than KFC or Popeyes in my opinion. I like it. Tabasco as the hot sauce-I probably prefer a different one but acceptable. The corn and mashed potato with gravy? Very good. I don’t care for the sweet form of spaghetti so I rarely order it, but I think the fried chicken is a hit.

Somebody mentioned in the mainland that Jollibee’s had pretty good Fried Chicken. So I ordered and tasted. It was more like«Church’s» — no outstanding spices or seasoning. Just«fried». The side orders were limited to corn, rice, and nagged potatoes. The corn was a «tough», the nagged potatoes were«pasty». From the flavor and dryness, it was probably a frozen chicken not a fresh or even fresh/frozen(correct me if I’m wrong, jollibee). This isn’t my usual optimistic review. Maybe I was expecting much more for my continue search for the«perfect» Fried Chicken…

I want to give this place at least 4 stars, but I cannot. I can’t seem to get past the way the lay out is at the counter, and customer service was meh. It is a clean place, I can tell that much, but the food wasn’t what I had expected. The pancit was not flavorful, but salty. I couldn’t try the chicken due to breading but I could tell it wasn’t for me. I may try to come back another time.

Tucked in to a side hallway, and I finally found it! I could get their fried chicken picture out of my head, and since I have been wanting to try Their fried chicken for a long time, and I burned tons of sweat at the UFC fighting class today, I let myself order their 2-piece fried chicken. The fried chicken had a golden crispy appearance, and biting into it, it was crispy on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside. It was fried to perfection. With the Tobasco hot sauce, it was delicious, just what I was looking for. The breading was light, lighter than KFC, and I prefer lighter breading, because it doesn’t hurt my mouth biting into it. However, I didn’t care for their gravy dressing on the side. The order came out fast, the cashier and the manager were friendly. They gave me a buzzer while waiting. It is a good place to get a fried chicken treat.

Customer service is not good though some young cashiers are nice. But one time, I bought my meal here, one lady started yelling at the kitchen area arguing about how much to put or put or something like that(I understand Filipino so). Then this lady demanding the younger worker that she should hurry up because people are working. I mean its only the only four of us there. When she came up to me, kinda gives an un welcoming look. I got a little scared so… However, I love their fried chicken and French fries. Their spaghetti, pancit palabok and pineapple juice is a MUST try! Its great! It truly reminds me of the Philippines and their awesome food! But since this is a Filipino fast food restaurant, food here are Filipino food in fast food version. If you will be eating the meal, i suggest to eat it with rice(with chicken or steak). But mashed potatoes are fine.

Jollibee never disappoints! My favorite place for fried chicken this location was a bit pricey but always worth it! Got the spicy c3 meal with rice and also chicken dippers. No sauces were available tho :/

Chicken chicken fried chicken. It was gooood, spaghetti not so much. Sauce is kind of a tangy type, think cafeteria. I’m sure it’s comforting to some though, just as how some not so glamorous food I grew up with is to me. Service was great, and I have to mention I really liked the packaging. Partly what drew me to finally try this place tonight, seeing many others eating Jollibee in the food court and even in the shiroyika beer garden. I’ve heard it tastes better in the Philippines, where this chain is from. Have to admit I’ve been to Manila twice and somehow never managed to try it there, so sadly will probably only come by for a fried chicken fix. Still, quite a popular place.

This is my second time eating here. The first time I had the fried chicken with the spaghetti. The fried chicken was good, but I couldn’t say the same for the spaghetti. They use banana ketchup to make their spaghetti. It must be an acquired taste because I had a really hard time eating sweet spaghetti. This time around, I got the fried chicken with mash and gravy. It was winners! The fried chicken was crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. The mash was smooth with a creamy texture and taste to it. It was far from bland, but the gravy just took it to another level. The gravy was so flavorful without being overly salty. My new favorite item from this place is the pineapple quencher that caught my eye. My meal came with a drink. I asked the cashier if I could have the pineapple quencher instead of the fountain drink. She said that I could with no extra charge. I took my first sip and fell in love. This is so much better than the ordinary pineapple juice. It was on the sweeter side which I prefer, but not too sweet. I don’t even know how to explain it, just try it for yourself. The last thing I have to say about this place is that the workers are so nice. They kept calling me ma’am and thanking me for everything. This location is at the Makai Market food court at the Ala Moana Shopping Center.

Chicken is good. Service is slow and borderline comical. Like the three stooges working fast food. And nobody looks up.

What’s with the crowd control stanchions that are annoyingly in the way of the order counter!!! After you place your order you have to maneuver your way out to the pick up counter, but not before you get knocked out by another customer who is impatiently wanting to get to the order counter. Bottom line is get rid of the stanchions. There are only three of us in line. It didn’t have the Welcome vibe they normally have at a Jollibee’s where the employee’s are happy to see you and ensure your order is more than what you expected it to be. Prices are ridiculous here compared to the other Jollibee’s around the island. I guest it’s to get the tourist to pay for subpar meal and service. Ordered a pancit palabok and tasted like pancit what the labok!!! Weird taste. So management how are you going to make my experience and your thousands of customers happy and come back!!! Take the challenge Jollibee Ala Moana Center Food Court and improve. Im a kamaaina and kababayan. Make our heritage proud. You’re serving our staple with no pride! Mabuhay Philippines!

This is the third time I’ve allowed my daughters to order food from here & every time the order has been wrong! On top of that when I took the order back to have it fixed the girl kept speaking in Filipino. She & the mgr was laughing and wanted to charge me more because they insisted I got the corn & wanted another. I expressed that I didn’t appreciate them not speaking English & that I just want the $ back. He didn’t want to refund me because she took one bite of the chicken. I had to stand there and hold up their line for 15 mins before they gave me the money back!

A great option in the Makai Food Court! The food is reasonably priced and served with a welcoming smile. I enjoyed the spaghetti and chicken combo as well as the aloha burger. The best part of my meal was the halo halo! This place is perfectly located on the south end of the food court just by the entrance. You’ll understand when I say, hands down– this is the best place to dine in the food court after giving them a try.

The chicken is so tender and juicy! Eat it while is hot. The wait time is reasonable. Customer service was okay. Now buying some combos has a free drink until 8⁄15. The Spaghetti was okay, but the chicken is definitely worth to try! My combo is one piece chicken with Spaghetti and one free drink, the total is $ 6.80. So price is fair too.

Their customer service went from excellent to horrible. There were so many occasions where they ran out of halo halo. If they did have it and you ordered it, the employees made it clear that it was such a hassle to make. If you want to get your halo halo fix, go to Magnolia in Waipahu located inside of the Seafood City. Customer service there is excellent and the dessert taste so much better from there! Good bye, Jollibee!

Tourist prices at this one. Even if you’re local, you’re going to pay the mall price that targets tourists. Service is okay. They’re not as fast as they should be. They’re courteous but slow. Sadly, I was tasked to pickup food from this place. Guess you have to pay for convenience too. The other one is in kalihi. I give this place 2 stars for okay courteous service. The prices plus extra slow service killed one star.

Aloha! I would like to call the Managements attention about my experience to one of your chain in Hawaii, located at Ala Moana. My son and I, ordered the usual filipino all time favorite chickenjoy, palabok and ryc. The order taker by the name of Jane told me that I have to wait for ten(10) minutes so I said yes I am willing to wait. The order taker asked my name and they will just call my name when my order is ready. After a long wait for the said ten(10) minutes waiting time, I noticed that it took me 30−40mins waiting and there was another batch of customers in line and waiting for their orders. I noticed that they(staff and manager) are busy chatting and laughing to whatever issues they might have… As if they were searching for something and making fun of it… Despite of the delays of orders… Then, i noticed that there was one plastic bag left on the counter which has been there for 10mins, so i took the chance to ask the crew if that order is mine, and she said no, without checking my receipt. Then, i approached my order taker by the name of Jane if that plastic bag is my order and said no, that my chicken is still in the fryer. A customer approached the crew if her order is ready and the crew was about to give the customer the bag but uponchecking the receipt it wasn’t for that customer, so the crew ask Jane(the order taker) who’s order is this? The order taker checked the bag, and immediately said that it is for the customer named — Jhing. They called Jhing and luckily speaking that it is me, the same person who asked them if that bag was my order. What pissed me off? They have thenerve to say that they keep calling my name… I told them, «I was here standing in front of you and even asked you guys if that order is mine and you said no! « No one apologized even the manager or supervisor in charged. So Unprofessional People and NOALOHA spirit. I am a former service crew of Jollibee Quirino Baclaran, Philippines way back year 1992. I believe that whatever attitude we have will always reflect on the company we are working. I also believe that we should be compassionate to our Company, and treat our customers as our boss… Without our customers we don’t have a job. Hoping for your immediate action. Mahalo for your Kokua’

I decided to give this fast food chain a try since I saw Elite Gabriel T.(The Duke Of Jollibee) at the Unilocal Boot Camp the previous day. Since he told me that he ate here prior to BC and as how he kicked a$$ that they must be injecting their chicken with something… Only J/K! Well back to the food review: Ordered the fried chicken and spaghetti combo *Spaghetti: Sauce was too sweet for my taste and a little oily. *Fried Chicken: Crispy Skin and moist meat inside. *Service was good, helped me decide on what to order. Overall I would come again for the Fried Chicken and search for some musubi’s.lol!
