Jack In The Box

I will one star for the food, This is my first time order spam plater in the jack in the box. the rice is cook longer. not fresh… the spam over cook. small portion of egg. plus the soy sauce. tasty is super stranger.. They need learn how local people how make spam.

2 THINGS YOU NEED ONLY DO HERE:
1) get their Munchie Meal (it’s a huge box full of tacos, a burger of your choice, both regular and curly fries, accompanied by a driizaank. Thee go-​to choice for you late night stoners)
2) order a ridiculous amount of buttermilk
Do this and you’re in good shape. .. not literally, but figuratively.

All I got was mummified version of taco looked like they made it decade ago.

This establishment is getting worse. I’m getting burnt food, wrong fries, and wrong orders. I just hope it’s because of the graveyard shift not caring.

To me this location was always a little odd in terms of where it’s situated… not to mention that it’s always so difficult to exit since people want to get into that lane to turn onto Piikoi (to get to the H1 freeway entrance further down).
However, after a long night out in town… this (and also Zippy’s across the intersection) is one of the places to stop by to pick up some grinds before calling it a night.
…and so as always the usual orders end up being $ 1 tacos (2), bacon potato cheddar wedges, fruit punches, waters, just to name a few…
Forget phatty status, when we leave the drive-​thru, we’re just thankful our (seemingly old) selves have made it through another cray girl’s night out.

How could I give my favorite Jack In The Box anything less than 5-​stars?! Like an old friend who’s always happy to see you at 2 am, this Jack In The Box has seen me at my best and… my very, very, very, very worst. Yet no matter if you’ve been sunning on the beach all day or drinking til the wee hours at a dive bar, Jack In The Box judges you not and is open ²⁴⁄₇.
YES, the service here is completely spotty, but come on people this is not a Michelin rated restaurant! It’s Jack In The Box!!! My boyfriend and I have a ritual built around horrible cheap fast food and Jack In The Box has always been the center of our love affair. We always order the following:
(4) Tacos — A 99 cents for two, these have been my favorites since I was in the 7^th grade. Disgusting I know, but I just love love love them!
(2) Chicken sandwiches — Also 99 cents each, but they’re so simple and satisfying.
(1) Medium Coke — We normally don’t drink soda except when we eat out, but you have to have a Coke when you eat fast food!
(1) Chocolate Oreo shake — You have to special request that they use chocolate for the Oreo shake. It tastes so much better than the plain Oreo. Trust.
Don’t eat inside, always go drive-​thru! Jack In The Box always tastes better in your car. Don’t know why, it just does! You can shake your head and mock me for giving it 5-​stars but we love going here after cocktails with friends! And I want you to remember that Jack In The Box is like a permanent weird growth on your butt. It’s not always pretty, but you learn to love it because it’s a part of who you are. Thank you for the wonderful memories my dearest Jack In The Box, you are certainly the food which has filled our stomachs as we recap the awesomeness of our youth! Cheers to warts & two deep fried tacos for just 99 cents!!!

Late night hooked us up with buttermilk sauce. They read our minds. Try the jalapeño poppers. Please bring back mini corn dogs. I haven’t known happiness since these wonderful treats departed.

What do you do when you’re hungry and want a sandwich? Go to Jacks? That’s what I did. Another late night and the normal 24hr spots would be dope but you gotta get some sleep and wake up in three hours cancel those options. Pulled into Jacks and got them grilled deli sandwiches and I was impressed. Good for fast food. Tasty and did the trick. I ate on my way home and slept upon arrival. I actually like these a little better than the burgers. Ironic, dontcha think?

Was skeptive upon hearing the recent reviews, but I was hungry for some breakfast. Had the breakfast sandwich combo and reception was flexible in replacing orange juice with coffee that came with combo. Reception informative, quick and efficient. Order correct and quick. items were hot and tasty, did not find any items as indicated from previous reviews. Yes, I was looking hard, but nice surprise all was great. Restaurant clean and well kept. Will return.

I’ll never eat at Jack in the Box ever again because of this spicific location.
I ordered a chicken salad with light ranch dressing via drive through. While I was removing the carrots from the salad I found a strand of hair, light brown at about 2.5 inches. That made me check the rest of my salad… I found wither strand of hair, same color at about 4 inches which was also attached to an expiration sticker… AND two pieces of grass. The grass kinda tripped me out cuz it looked like the grass I have in my back yard.
I filed a complaint with their corporate office in Cali, first thing the next morning I received a call from their office. The woman on the phone was very understanding and said she’ll be sending a refund check because I indicated that I’ll no longer eat there.
Mind you this same lady from corporate assisted their people for my brothers complaint from last year. I found a whole plastic bag in his wife’s fruit punch cup. This was no take out kine plastic bag… it was the same bag they use to seal their cups for shipping, the fricking thing was about 3 – 4 feet long!!! Can you imagine all of the hands that touched the bag? Where it was during storage? How did it end up in the cup???
JIB… y’all gottah train your staff on food sanitation/​preparation big time!

Do not ever try the outlaw burger. Just order a Jumbo Jack.

If only it was really Crack in a Box, then you would have an excuse for all the low lifes hanging out around here and panhandlin’. Unfortunately, this place is really sketchy for no reason other than it’s on a busy street and people have fallen on hard times.
This location has very few parking spots and most of the time, you can never understand what the workers are saying and vice versa. It’s so hard to order a basic combo that you wonder how they got hired in the first place. I don’t really fault the workers because hey, it’s a job right and if you need it, then you should stay there. But honestly, who’s doing the hiring that they hire people that don’t speak English? Ergh.
The location isn’t that clean but it’s convenient to my home so sometimes I was forced to come here after going to find out that Ichiryu was closed. However, since Ichiryu is closing (complete SAD FACE), I probably won’t even be near this location unless I’m on my way to somewhere else.
Go elsewhere for your Jack in the Box fix if you can… or better yet, go somewhere else to eat! There are so many options out there!

I thought I would write a little bit about my recent experience.
It was 12am this past week, I was hungry and the only places that were open… jack in the box, mcdonalds and zippys.
I will never come here again.
I went through the drive thru and ordered the spam breakfast platter with a medium fruit punch. I got home, opened up my food and began to feed. Midway through my feeding, I found a semi-​long, black hair sticking out of the scrambled eggs. Disgusting! But, I don’t eat eggs anyway so I could care less.
I continued to eat my spam and rice, thinking it was all good… wrong! BAM! DEAD MOSQUITO in my rice!
Needless to say, I puked up all the contents I had just put into my stomach and filed a complaint with the main office. I don’t know if they’ll ever get back to me, but just be careful when selecting a late night eatery…

I can’t believe the people that work at this place. It was a horrible experience. I went through the drive thru and this is what happened. I ordered two Really Big Chicken sandwich combos with two ice teas. Then I was asked if I wanted a funnel cake. I said no. Next, I ordered a five piece Mini Churros. Then I was asked if I wanted a funnel cake again. I said no again. After that I asked if I could also have a large Oreo shake. The ordertaker asked me what size. I said large again and also said «that’s it.» The ordertaker had the nerve to ask me if I wanted anything else. What the heck?

On Feb 5, I visited this Jack in the Box. I ordered a meal which included 2 tacos. A guest returned 2 tacos, because he had a special order for tacos. The counter worker took the 2 tacos and placed them on the warmer, instead of throwing them out. A manager put the 2 returned tacos in my order and I told her I didn’t want the tacos since a customer returned them. The manager put the tacos in my bag anyway, so I threw them away and filed an on-​line complaint about food safety with Jack in the Box corporate office. I received a phone call the following Monday from JIB customer service. She was very apologetic and assured me that it wouldn’t happen again.
Less than a week later on Feb 10, I visited the JIB on the corner of Kapahulu and Date. It happened again. Food was returned by a customer and the manager put the returned food in the warmer. AVOID Jack in the Box in Hawai‘i. They don’t practice food safety.
