Right off Waikiki beach this is a great little no thrills sushi spot. Staff is attentive, sushi is of quality but as I mentioned nothing fancy. The rolls are pretty basic. Prices are high, décor is simple and efficient, food is good. I got the Rainbow A– platter which seemed to make sense $wise and a Diamond Head roll– and I was very satisfied with my meal. We did try a poke dish which seemed to be pieces of tuna with a few vegetables drizzled in soy. It tasted great as I love raw tuna but it wasn’t poke by any of my standards . I hope this helps a few make their minds up about the place; I think if you happen to be in Waikiki, are wanting sushi and are near, you won’t go wrong by trying this place.

Good sushis, no question on the quality of the fish or the cuts. Service was a bit avereage. Overall the deal breaker was total package(food quality, service, ambiance) vs the price point. For similar price you can go up to road to a Doraku and have a sit down meal with better quality sushi, great service and ambiance. Again, great option but not priced competitively in Waikiki.

My friends came here on a Sunday night around 9:15 bc it’s one of the few places that’s still open. I ordered an Aloha Don which should contain Amaebi(sweet shrimp). When it showed up, it was a regular cooked shrimp… I asked the waitress about it. she checked with the chef/owner, she said she they were out but did not offer a discount or substitute. I asked for discount. She was very apologetic, went to check with the owner, was going to offer me 10% off but I changed my mind for a chirashi bowl instead. She got it changed for me. I felt like the owner is running a shady business, if I didn’t ask, they would have just slipped through this one serving regular shrimp as Amaebi which has a huge price difference!

Extremely fresh and fast service. Went twice in three days on my recent trip. Both times we went were about an hour before closing. Price was reasonable for the great location

My boyfriend and I decided to go here right before we went to the beach. The waitress as we walked in was extremely rude and sarcastic asking if I had extra clothes to put on because I had a bathing suit top on. This isn’t an issue if there were signs around the facility saying you couldn’t wear swimwear or the waitress asked nicely. Once we sat down and I gladly rolled up my dress the waitress continued to stare at me and glare while i was checking out the menu. Although the she wasn’t speaking in English it was clear she was complaining and because of her rude attitude my boyfriend and I decided to leave. First impressions and politeness matter just as much as the quality of a resturaunt food. Especially for a restaurant across the street from the beach if people wearing bathing suits is an issue the my should either have signs or be more polite in their ask.

This pace is right across from the Waikiki beach. The sushi here is great! Had the spicy tuna roll, California roll & sashimi platter all was excellent! The miso & udon soup was good too. The service was great. I recommend if your in the mood for sushi. Kind of pricey but your in Hawaii everything is. Good for kids too.

Came here looking to fill my sushi cravings! A friend and I ordered the Hawaiian Bridge because it looked so great on the menu but when it came the pieces of fish on the nigiri were jaggedly cut and the boat wasn’t wooden it was a laquered slightly rusting looking thing. Definitely not worth $ 60!!!

What a surprising find. I’m not sure about the bad reviews, our experience was great. Sunday night dinner to round up our visit: we had to wait for about 15−20min to get seated but were entertained by people watching :) The menu has a couple of specials and combo deals, but we ordered a few rolls and some poke. All food was incredibly fresh and tasty. Try the Diamond Head roll: spicy tuna and yellow tail. Service was very friendly and we enjoyed ourself.

I’ve read several bad reviews regarding this place and most concern price. Quality sushi in Waikiki is going to be expensive. First off the rent has to be astronomical. Given that the prices here are not bad and the quality is phenomenal. I eat sushi once a week and this is good sushi. $ 70 for 2 people, sushi and drinks. That seems just a little more than normal. Keep in mind that it is fresh and you are 30 feet from the ocean. Seems like a good deal to me.

When in Hawaii you have to try their sushi. Located on the strip, a bit pricey but expected due to their prime location. We ordered a mix sashimi/nigiri combo and a couple of basic rolls. Everything was fresh although the roll we ordered was made with imitation crab. Service was prompt and all the staff were nice and friendly.

UGH. Can I come back to this place every day of my life? Raw orgasm in my mouth from every bite. The place is a bit pricy, but the sushi is fresh! Not sure what else I can write about this place, I’ve pretty much already said it’s amazing.

First time I went, absolutely loved the diamond head roll. Second time I wanted to try something lighter, so I ordered the spicy tuna and the wafu salad. Salad was ok — not as big as I was expecting, especially when the waitress informed me it was a big salad with mixed greens. It was more so reminiscent of a side salad you’d order before your meal. The spicy tuna roll was not made with love, presentation was a bit sloppy. Overall, it’s a not a bad place. Great staff, good environment. Quick stop off the strip. Will probably be back again this week to give a final analysis; as of now they’ll probably get 3.5÷5

There are two things to know about Honolulu restaurants: 1) they *all* require a long wait, and 2) they are *all* very expensive. Thus, setting these two criteria aside, I can wholeheartedly say that this is easily one of the best sushi restaurants I have ever eaten at. The food is prepared quickly and expertly, and it is always fresh and delicious. Needless to say, my wife and I got the famous Sushi Bridge(with a few things on the side) and we had simply the best time.

A bit hungry from walking around we spotted this place, not far from our Hotel right on the main street. It’s a typical Japanese restaurant. A few tables and a bar /counter. It was just around 2pm and the place only had a few people inside. There lots of choice, from smaller and simpler dishes to bigger and more expensive Sashimi and Sushi platters. The big plates are really a bit expensive, compared to Japan and to other american Japanese Restaurants. But this is Waikiki I guess… We had a plate of Californian Rolls and two beers with that. We chose — of course — Japanese beer, which was only 1 $ a glass(!) because of Happy Hour, which starts at 2pm. The Rolls were decent. The beer nice and cold. For just 13 $ for a quick snack it’s really a bargain. The big platters looked good, fresh and nice presented, but with up to almost 60 $(for two) a bit pricey. All in all a good option for some quick Sushi /Sashimi and a cold beer

Estando en Hawaii, rodeado de agua y con 50% población descendiente de japoneses(andá a chequearlo a la…) era obvio que tenía que comer Sushi en Hawaii. Y no me decepcionó.

My boyfriend and I went here on a Sunday night. We were seated in 5 mins. The sushi here is a little bit pricy. We decided to order the Hawaiian Bridge to share. The sushi were just okay. Nothing special. One Hawaiian bridge is surely not enough for two people, so we ordered one more dish. Again, it tasted okay. Overall the food here is not worth the price.

Best. Sushi. Ever. I want to start by saying the negative reviews on here are ridiculous. I’ve read a handful and they all complain about the price… Um, hello, you’re in Waikiki. This is a tourist trap and everything you do or eat here is expensive. Don’t deter people from trying a great sushi restaurant because you didn’t want to pay extra for your dinner. Now on to the best sushi I swear I have ever had. The sushi is so good! Flavorful(not fishy), large portions, great roll creatures and variations. I ordered the Dragon B which is a dragon roll and 6 pieces of tuna sashimi. $ 27.00 for all of that. That’s a great deal especially in Waikiki. I also added a mini udon soup to my meal for $ 4.50. I’ve never been to a restaurant that does this, but I’m so glad they do! It’s a better option than miso and much for filling. I ate at another 5 star world renowned sushi restaurant the night I got in to Waikiki and I can tell you that restaurant wasn’t worth it! I wish I had just came here. The food here was much better, larger portions and the service was just was good. The location is convenient(right in front of the Duke statue, located inside the Hyatt Regency). The service is impeccable. Very attentive wait staff and so courteous. The menu is large and everything is made fresh. Lots of the items are wild caught or a product of Hawaii. I wish I could take this restaurant back to San Francisco with me. It’s the best I’ve had in a long time. I love sushi, I eat it once a week or more and I can honestly say this place was top notch. Save your wallet and fill your hungry tummy here! You’ll be glad you did!
