So disappointed. I used to love coming here for their Mini Sushi Plate(shrimp tempura roll with shoyu ahi poke). Don’t know if the place has new owners, but there was a female cook who knew how to make tasty dishes. On my last visit here, there was a guy making the food and it just wasn’t the same. The rice was undercooked(or overcooked?) and the poke tasted two days old. Horrible. I took two bites before I threw it away. Luckily Ninja Sushi is right across the street.

I am always in downtown looking for a good place to have lunch. I probably tried all the restaurants and take out place that is within walking distance from my office. As of now, there are only a handful of places that I would go on regular bases. Of these I would recommend Fooda Deli. The name is a little strange, it took me a few visits to finally remember what this place is called. I think the food is fresh and delicious. However… they are a little slow. compared to the other restaurants in downtown. Most patrons in downtown expects their food to be prepared quickly, since typical lunch breaks are about an hour long. Other then then that I think they are pretty good. Recommend the Spicy Garlic Eggplant! FYI, most of the meals come with a soup!!!
