Eisenberg Ono Dogs

Too bad they don’t take credit card! Especially for those who don’t carry a lot of cash on hand.
I highly recommend the bacon wrapped smoked cheddar dog! They ought to have some garlic fries to go along w/​it! But I understand if they can’t.

Just finished shopping at Home Depot. Went outside and had a great bacon wrapped cheddar hot dog on a fresh bun that tasted great. One of the better hot dogs I have had on oahu. Also a friendly person working behind the counter that offered advice on toppings. Will come again.

I was at Home Depot one day picking something up last minute. I’ve always wanted to try the hot dog stand there and just never got to it. Well, this time I was hungry not having eaten anything yet. I was ready. It was lunch time. I came out, looked at the menu and knew I wanted the Chicago Dog. That’s what I ordered with a drink. As I’m waiting I’m thinking this dog isn’t going to be enough but it will do for now. After this, I had to go pick up my cousin and her family at the airport. I was already running late but was sure I would be okay. I knew my cousin would want to eat right away after a long flight. The hot dog will hold me up until then. I’m looking over the signs on the window and I see «Cash Only». Frack! I didn’t have any cash. I don’t carry cash, I just use my debit\credit card. The guy is almost done. He tells me the total and I apologize «dude, I’m so sorry I just saw your sign and I don’t have any cash». I’m psst, I turn around to head to my car thinking now I got to wait a couple hours before I get to eat. I hadn’t taken my 2^nd step when I hear him call me back and he says why don’t you go ahead and try this. I say «Are you sure?» He says yes and shoosh me away. I thank him whole heartedly, saying how much I appreciate this and would come back with several of my friends. I have not done that yet but I will.
He didn’t have to do that. That is above and beyond the call of customer service. The hot dog was great. I woofed it down in a few bites bringing back my memories of the Windy City itself and the great times I’ve had there. It was enough to hold down my stomach and hit the spot in several areas. However, most of those stars are earned on customer service. I wish I could make this seven stars and I had a beer to chase it down.

Great location to get some legit business, but the guy running the shack seemed agitated at my request for the dogs to be wrapped for take out. He assumed I was gonna eat all 4 dogs I ordered by myself right there I guess. He asked me for my condiment preferences, but ended up putting relish on them anyway, and skipping the ketchup on another. The dogs were ok, little heavy on the condiments and nothing particularly special. Go to Hanks, the lady in front of Lowe’s or even Costco for better dogs and service imo.
