Yesterday I was at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and wanted a Thai Tea before I left. This was the first time I had tried anything from this place. There are two(2) prices for their Thai Tea… one with boba for $ 3.79 and one without for $ 3.29. I usually like boba, but this time I decided not to get it. The cashier, Christine, charged me correctly, but when I finally was able to take my first sip when I got to my car, I found that she had put boba in it. I was a little annoyed being that I didn’t want it, but enjoyed it anyway being that I didn’t pay for it. Aside from getting my order wrong, the other reason I only gave one(1) star is because of Christine’s service. When I walked up to the counter to order, I waited about a minute before anyone came to the counter to help me. Christine didn’t greet me, but only looked at me like I was supposed to read her mind. After paying her, instead of giving me my change in my hand, she put it on the counter and pushed it towards me. I found this to be EXTREMELY rude! Christine acts like she doesn’t enjoy her job and it seems like she doesn’t care about the customers… the reason why she has a job.

Don’t waste your time and money here. The cashier is extremely rude. A customer before me was trying to order but she kept saying«what?!» to him and he eventually left. After he left, I had to wait 15 mins until she finally acknowledged me standing there and took my order. I don’t understand why it took that long for her to take my order, no one was around but me and the previous customer. She even made eye contact with me while she kept saying«what?!» to the customer before me. Not only I had to wait that long, I was trying to order 2 different plates but she rolled her eyes at me and sighed and swiped my card anyways and ended up with one plate. As for the food, you can get better curry else where. Very watery and only ended up with one piece of carrot and potato.

Skip it. There are a bunch of average restaurants in the food court. Don’t waste your meal on the most below average one. We got a chicken curry and a locomoco. The curry sauce was very bland, and honestly the presentation was kinda gross. On top of that, it’s a bit pricey for what you get, which is very little meat, a giant glob of rice, and a bunch of curry sauce or gravy on the side.

A lot of curry and rice given but not the tastiest. Vegetables inside is too chunky. lady there working in this pic was rude. She literally rolled her eyes as I ask her kamaaina discount and while she ask me a question ‘work here?!’ I couldn’t hear her at first because it was just way to noisy and she didn’t make sense. She put her finger by her ear and made the ‘crazy’ twist. Rude I tell you. Bad service.

Well i was a little bit disappointed because I thought that it was ok but after eating the rice and the chicken, i thought it could use a little bit more Katsu instead of rice and i overheard a unpleasant customer wanting a refund because the jasmine rice was too tough to eat and i don’t blame him for wanting a refund, i would to if my jasmine rice was a little bit hard and I didn’t like the fact that the cashier was a little bit too intimidating and it kind of made me feel a little bit uncomfortable for me because I had a coupon for a free drink and i wasn’t sure if I wanted to use it or not. This place is a ok for me because I cannot have anything containing coconut and they were at least able to make my chicken katsu without the curry and it was ok but don’t put onions on the rice, which killed it. I hope that the the next time i do return, i want to make sure that I feel like a customer and not someone who has never been to a place where I can enjoy my dinner and not feel like i can’t eat there and I hope that the customer service improves so people will want to eat anything that is good and enjoyed too so people can let them know about this new place as well as returning back so they can have a good dinner and thensome

Another great spot at the mall’s food court. The menu is curry galore… awesome for curry lovers. I wanted to try everything!

This is a review to hopefully stop you from wasting your time here. Cashier charged couple 3 combos instead of 2. Told them it was because of tax and drinks. «But the drinks are included in combo»…” Wait, … Oh yeah … Oh sorry” long story short… Ordered chicken katsu Japanese style curry comes with a lot of rice, chicken katsu that was cooked earlier that day. And a styrofoam cup with your curry that they put in microwave(lazy) cuz there such a long line that’s keeping them from making it as ordered(sarcasm). I knew this right away when one of my(only) two potatoes(oh they give you one carrot too) Was cold and the curry on my rice and tired chicken was also luke warm. There isn’t nothing worse, than Luke warm curry. I know I said, long story short but there is more to say but I am trying to keep it short. Bottom line go to coco curry house for better experience for Japanese curry

I can’t say anything really bad or good about this place. This is my first experience with this style of curry. It’s is not spicey at all it is more of a mild sweet curry. Nothing really special. The fried shrimp and fish was good and they let you make your own salad. Price was okay nothing to tell people about.

One rule that every seasoned drinker knows is that it’s best to eat before a night of drinking. With that in mind, my friends and I went searching for someplace to eat. First choice was Five-O Lounge, but apparently it does not exist anymore. Panda. .. Ezogiku. .. Let’s try out the Curry Café someone says. BIGMISTAKE. Watery watery curry. Three pieces of vegetables total: one piece carrot, one piece potato, and one piece of some undiscernable vegetable. All the veggies were undercooked and not soft at all. If you’re going to have watery curry with three pieces of vegetables, at least cook them through. The only saving grace was that the rice and chicken katsu were not botched and the water was free. If you like watery curry with little to no vegetables, come to Curry Café. If not, take the extra 10 steps and go to Ezogiku. After the fact, my friend looked at the pictures in the menu which showed only one piece of carrot and one piece of potato. No false advertising here. Hopefully the Royal Hawaiian Ezogiku is just like the others in Pearl City and Waimalu.

The curry itself tastes great! You just can’t get the chicken. My coworker got it once and had to go home early because he got sick. I got it today and discovered it’s under-cooked. It’s still pink on the outside! Just eating the rice, curry and salad. Haven’t tried the beef.

The most wretched excuse for curry ever. If you think this curry is good, then your usual diet must consist of carrion.

Ordered just a chai tapioca bubble tea. The cashier wasn’t really friendly. Told me the price as she was walking away. No eye contact. However, the tea was delicious and not a bad price.

They suck balls! The lady at the register needs to smile more and get her shit together. She was hella slow at taking our order and she didn’t even acknowledge the other customers who were in line! So sad!

Avoid. Not sure what kind of business they are running here. Service and food were terrible.

Came after seeing it on Unilocalhawaii. We already had dinner and so I only got the chai milk tea with bubbles. Decently priced, $ 3.66, I think it’s $ 0.50 less if you don’t get the bubbles. But my bubbles were hard and the tea wasn’t that great. They also offer jasmine tea, regular milk tea, and Thai tea. Haven’t had the curry, so can’t be sure on how that is. I miss the ice cream that used to be there.

Waited 15 minutes in a short line hoping to like this place. But NOPE. I ordered a veggie japanese combo curry, the cashier didn’t know the menu so I had to say it 3 times while he looked behind to see what I was talking about. The salad bar was practically empty, and while walking back to my shop the lid to my curry popped open and curry was spilling all inside the plastic bag. I sat down to eat only to find out my veggie japanese curry only had 1 carrot and 2 potatoes. But I spit the«potatoes» out after putting it in my mouth, it didn’t taste like potatoes at all… Definitely do not recommend.

This had to be the worst Chicken Katsu Curry that I have ever had, and the kicker was it was expensive to. So we have bad food and high prices. The owners should be ashamed to serve this stuff. The chicken was of thin and tasted like something else it was inedible. This was a big disappointment. I will never go back.

This place I believe just opened at the end of February 2014, in the Pa’aina Lanai Food Court in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. It is located at the edge of the food court, where the ice cream place used to be-I think used to be blue bunny? I cant remember… I Anyway, I’ve only tried the milk tea — I guess it was so new when I had gone there, they only had the original black milk tea and jasmine milk tea, no bubbles(tapioca). Both were pretty good and on par to the taste of the milk teas I’ve tried in other Taiwanese owned bubble tea shops. The service was friendly and quick. The counter seemed clean. I will have to try the food the next time — it seems to be an extension of the new Phở place.
