Option 1: Be the thirty-fifth in line at Starbucks Campus Center, making your morning grouchiness even grouchier. Boy, that queue sure winds around and around the inside of that little store, dunnit? Option 2: Walk next door to the Corner Market Café, where they don’t make no frapa-bapa chinos or similar fancy caffeinated drinks, but they do offer basic coffee drinks, assorted teas, plus various canned/bottled drinks, a decent selection of pastries, sandwiches, breakfast sandos, and – get this $ 0.99 macaroons. YOUHEARDRIGHT: Colorful, multi-flavored MACAROONS in Honolulu for a BUCK. Lines are shorter to non-existent, as well. Plus you can use your campus dining card to pay, unlike SBux. What’s more: Better prepped coffees, no «Charbucks» here(though they do use SBux coffees, they prepare ‘em better). No brainer… Option 2 it is.

You know this place is seriously a hit or a miss. This place is good if you definitely need caffeine and you NEEDCOFFEE. LIke coffee zombie type of way. There are days that the beans are burned and the coffee tastes horrible. And then then there are days where the coffee tastes amazing. My favorite drinks there are the oreo shakes and the white mocha. The service here is grerat and the people are nice. You wont wait more than 5 minutes for your drink. Plus they are really expensive. I usually only come here at the end of the semester when I need coffee.

Corner Market Café is located on the main(2nd) floor of Campus Center, just up the main stairs. This is the«We Proudly Serve Starbucks Coffee» sort of café, so put away your Starbucks Gold Card and Starbucks Card app — they aren’t valid here. Really though, this café serves its purpose as a convenient and reliable coffee stop. And because they«proudly serve» Starbucks, you know your coffee will be at least half-way decent. The line is dumb at peak hours(morning before the first couple morning classes and lunch), but moves fairly quickly considering the amount of people in line. My suggestion: go a little early to beat the line. Or prepare to wait a bit, depending how out-the-door the line is. **And for Heaven’s sake, have your #%^+!&@ money ready. Unilocal 365 — #185/365

Expensive, but their coffee and pastry selection are way better than Campus Center Dining!

I was very confused as I was waiting in line for what I thought was a starbucks. They have starbucks posters and people are coming out with starbucks cups… but where are the green aprons? WHEREISMYPUMPKINSPICELATTE!!! The line moves pretty fast, so don’t be discouraged by the 10+ person long line when class gets out. Or if youre still wary, just wait till people have to go back to class :)

I go here every morning and it is perfect. Even when they are busy I can get in and out of there within 5 minutes. Baked goods are delicious. I usually have just an iced coffee and the occasional baked good, so I cannot say much about their other choices but I believe they are good. They do serve Starbucks coffee and the employees are EXTREMELY friendly! :)

This is a quaint, little coffee shop. They have their morning specials all the way through one PM usually. Food: The coffee they serve is from Starbuck’s. If you like that, that’s cool, but I much prefer elsewhere. However, they have three varieties of coffee which gave them their fourth star; at least three different types! They also have sandwiches, but I have always eaten their andagi with their grande coffee of my choice(morning special). So I can not comment on their sandwiches… yet. Service: I love their service here. The girl at the register knows how to keep a professional face on; especially during the lunch rush. She has a great attitude and calm tone even during the rush. Definitely not like the Subway here. This gave them their fifth star!
