Chin K Paul Dr Optmtrst

A colleague recommended Dr. Chin to me for routine eye exam and glasses/​contacts.
His office is located on the middle floor of Ala Moana inside Shirokiya next to the escalators moving upstairs. Mall parking is pretty ample, although coveted closer spaces tend not to be as freely available.
I was very impressed by how knowledgeable Dr. Chin was with all things optometry, including coverage policies for different health insurance plans. He was very friendly and professional, even gave me information on LASIK since I was curious. He knew much more than other doctors I had consulted in the past and was very patient with answering all my questions.
The space itself is a little small, although since they had an appointment spot open 2 days after I initially called, it’s a lot better than waiting for other larger, overbooked places with 2-​week lag times.
The only hiccup was my contact order arrived before my trial pair and since I’m going out of town for two weeks, I’ll have to chance it and open the package first.

Great doctor. Very helpful and explains in detail what is happening to your eyes as you age. Takes most insurance. He has helped me out on short notice before.
