The salads are ok. The service is mediocre and slow though. Prices are also high for what you get. Oh well, guess that’s Hawaii for you.

I don’t normally like salads but Aloha Salads are quite tasty. I usually order the Aloha passion which includes greens, apples, cranberries, candied walnuts, grapes, and mangoes. Soooo yummy! It even comes with a passion fruit flavored dressing. Today I ordered with chicken that was a bit chewy so next time I think I’ll just stick to the salad

As always, delicious! I got the paniolo today with chicken and it was a bit pricey(surprisingly the chicken was more expensive than the steak) but it was very filling! I got the large size because I was starving but it ended up being too much. I probably would’ve been fine with the small size :) Despite it being prime lunch time and quite busy –it only took about 10 minutes which I would say is pretty fast! Staff was friendly and were all working quickly behind the counter to get through all the customers.

Had the salad with seared Ahi, it was solid. Could have used a tad little more dressing, but it was still on point. Their Ahi was perfect, loved the seasoning on the outside. I’ll be back here if I’m too lazy to make a salad myself.

I work near Kahala Mall so I end up eating here quite a bit. The food is really good but they screw up my order about 50% of the time! They really don’t seem to handle busy lunch crowds well at all either, always try to phone your order in otherwise plan to wait 10min+.

I love their salads! I personally love the aloha passion but their other salads are great too! It’s just personal preference. The small size is pretty filling for 1 person. I sometimes get the large size and save the rest for the next day. Just ask for the dressing on the side.

Best aloha salads in town. I wish they were faster as it takes them 20 minutes to make a salad. Always leaving me hungry waiting. I usually get the soba salad and food quality and customer service is always good. Work on your speed and I think this place would be perfect

Okay well this aloha salads is probably the best one on the island considering that they always give me the options of my dressing tossed into my salad or not and if I want cheese in my soup or not haha plus the workers are always SOO nice to me when I come here and even though they forgot my avocado the last time I ordered a kahuku spinach from here. This time I came here they made my food fast and it was made perfectly and they always give me lots of pita bread and the bread is always super warm and delicious when I get it as well as my soup. I have to bring my stars back up for this place because it looks like they do a really good job here, better than all the other ones I’ve been to. And to add this time I actually got a seat inside the mall and it’s a Saturday ! Which I thought would be more busy but oh well maybe it’s just a good day to come here. Whatever the case is I’m pretty satisfied

The young lady here was very professional. There was a computer crash and she kept service going. She kept the flow going by taking orders by writing it down. Orders were being made while the computers were rebooting. I would of expected this delay to stop business but she handled it like s pro! The crew here was friendly and high energy also. Food was fresh and super yummy! I been to other«Aloha Salads» but this one Rocks!

First off, the food here is good. Got a tomato bisque. I’m going to keep it short and simple on why I gave 2 stars. Service. Shitty service. We ordered the soup and extra parmesan cheese. We stood there for 15 minutes waiting. The workers just stared at us. Not even asking us if we need any help. We went up to ask about our bisque, and we were greeted with«What?». Then when we told him, they couldn’t find the ticket… So they just made it. It took 30 seconds. They forgot the extra parmesan. The soup is from the bottom of the pot. It’s good, but I know what the bottom taste like. Get your shit together. Or get better workers.

Their tomato bisque and turkey sandwich is so amazing. However, I wanted to write a review because their manager is so awesome. He’s always there whenever I go(he obviously needs a break.) I go there at various hours of the day and he always seems to be there. But his customer service is great. He’s always smiling. Recently, I went there and ordered a tomato bisque. I asked him how long it would take(I needed to be at work in 15 minutes) and he told me he would make it for me right then. There were multiple people waiting, but he went out of his way to make my soup. He’s sweet. Great customer service!

Hard to believe but this is one of the good deals in the Kahala area if you’re hunting for lunch. For loosely $ 11 you can get a decent sized salad + a small half sandwich + drink. A healthy alternative to any fast food meal you get in the area for exactly the same price The Mandarin or Satay salads are great. Evenly tossed and good fresh ingredients. The sandwiches are small but just enough to complement the salad. Just the right amount for lunch. Won’t put you into that afternoon nap feeling before heading back to work.

I went to Aloha Salads for the first time last night for dinner and I have to say«WOW.» I loved every minute of it. The service, quality, taste and idea was fantastic. Aloha Salads is in Kahala Mall next to Whole Foods and Starbucks. It’s not a large location but doesn’t need to be. It appeared that most people, like myself, were ordering food to go. If you did want to sit than there are tables provided by the mall right behind the location. The food is ordered at their register and you can watch them prepare it right in front of you. I ordered a Caesar Salad with Chicken. The lettuce was fresh and so green. There were no browning edges or anything associated with an older piece of lettuce. Also, the chicken was cooked perfectly. The dressing was especially great because it was very tasteful without putting a heavy amount on to the salad. They also ask first if you would like the dressing on the side or mixed into the salad. I opted to go with them mixing it in. The service is quick. It took no more than 5 minutes from the time I ordered to me walking away with my salad. I mean it is a salad place, but it was swamped! Lastly, the idea behind the location. They make it known with the farmers pictures and location on the walls that they are helping support local farmers. I mean come on! Who doesn’t like a business that is helping support the local economy. Overall, I would definitely come back many more times!

The salad combinations are great! A little discouraged by how small the portion of seared ahi and salad I got for almost $ 12… My boyfriend got the wrap which was a little more worth it :(I think I’ll get that next time.

I am obsessed with Aloha Salads. I could eat their Ahi Caesar with Tomato Bisque everyday. But there seriously is always a problem. I’ve gotten a different Ahi Salad, rather than a Caesar(multiple times). I’ve had raw ahi. I’ve gotten chicken when I asked for none(multiple times). Tom was always kind enough to fix it for me & get a new salad. I would stop coming here, but it’s so tasty(when done correctly) & convenient. Today, I got whole romaine spears in my salad, even the core, which made the lettuce taste old. Lauren offered me a new one, thanks! Food is awesome here, but check your food THOROUGHLY before going all the way home.

I like this Aloha salads better than the one in Kapolei. Whenever I go here I always order one of the combos. Either the soup and salad or soup and sandwich. Ive tasted some of their salads and they’re interesting. I normally like their Caesar salad because the shaved parm cheese. Thomas, the guy that works there is super nice and very efficient with his team. When he’s not there which is the night time shifts the girl’s that work there are very slow. They’d rather talk to the whole foods workers that ask for refills. i thought it was rude but i learned my lesson… i don’t go there at night. Only between lunch hours. Overall high price but i feel its worth it Team is very efficient when they’re not distracted. Great place and great food.

A review update is overdue for here! Since I started a job in the area, I have been going to Aloha Salads a LOT and have long forgotten and forgiven the time I ordered a curried quinoa salad that didn’t have quinoa in it at all. It was a silly mistake but all my subsequent visits have been error-free and DELICIOUS!

I really can never go wrong at Aloha Salads ever…& the only thing that really kills it for me is that it’s out in Kahala side & it’s pretty pricey, but filling. For about $ 10 you can score a combo deal from a small soup & small salad, or small salad and half a sandwich, or half a sandwich and small soup and a bag a chips! good deals right? i know! Love the Italian sub every time on whole wheat or pita, but if you don’t care for either they offer white as well. If you get a soup, it comes with pita, so you might as well just choose the wheat. Salads is always good and they have a good assortment to satisfy anyone’s liking!

I appreciate having a healthy place to eat at at Kahala Mall. I appreciate this this place is made to order. I appreciate the variety of salads on their menu. I appreciate this place trying to be clean in their service(employees where gloves to prepare the the food). The 3 stars are for non — friendly employees and the fact I saw the order tickets falling into the condiments for the salads, therefore contaminating the food used to put in the salad. Not to mention getting new gloves after handling the order tickets.

Aloha Salads and Whole Foods are 2 of my favorite places to get a salad in Kahala Mall. I love salads that have a lot of fixings on it, because I’m not the type that can just eat greens plain. Some of my favorite salads there are: 1) Aloha Passion 2) Paia Pomegranate 3) Aloha Pineapple 4) Make your own salad creation I also love their soup and sandwiches, so most of the time I get their Salad and Soup or Sandwich Combo. My favorite sandwiches I’ve tried there so far: 1) Pastrami 2) Peanut Butter & Honey The reason I’m only giving 4 instead of 5 stars would be their wait time is a tad bit long. That and their prices are a little high, just like Whole Foods. Yes I know I could make the salad a lot cheaper at home… but I don’t mind paying a little extra for the convenience and variety of ingredients they have.
