Of personal choice I usually go to Chevron stations to fill gas but once in a blue moon I come here. For example, I tend to worry a lot and recently when I was heading to Diamond Head Crater. I had exited Koko Head Ave and I noticed my gas light went on! I know I have some time to fill gas but not to take any chances, I came here rather than the Chevron on Kapahulu. This Aloha Petroleum is located diagonally across Diamond Head Market and Grill. It sits at an intersection with a traffic light and you can enter from either Monsarratt Ave or Campbell Ave. I was surprised on the low gas rates here. Pricing here is competitive with Chevron on Kapahulu Ave. In my recent visits here there were no lines to fill up which is a major plus. However, I am docking 1-star because the gas station squeegees were ratty and gross.

This is the nicest gas station convenience store that I have ever been in. It almost doesnt look like a store, it looks more like a café! Very clean, and well stocked. We went in just to buy some bottled waters for the beach and I was surprised to go in because it looks so clean. It was my first time in there. Awesome store!

This gas station seems like the cheapest one in town. It’s usually 3 – 5 cents cheaper than the other gas stations in town, not sure why. About a year or two ago, they upgraded their convenience store into an actual store instead of a little ghetto garage with vending machines. The workers are also extremely nice. Every time I go, it’s always the same guy working. It’s like he never has a day off. He told me that if you show your Maika’i card, you get 5 cents off per gallon if you pay with cash. So it makes the gas even cheaper than the other gas stations! Come here if you want to save at least 8 cents a gallon compared to other places.

For some reason, all the 87 and 89 grade gas was out of order on all the pumps. You only could choose 92 and it was the price of regular(3.89) chee hoooooooo.
